PLAYER-RUN BUSINESSES AND SERVICES

Medusa
Location: Ecruteak City [Johto]
★ Lust ([personal profile] a_sin_for_him) | player: Faye
Medusa is a place to find some of the most varied kinds of entertainment in the area. Typically the entertainment that can be found can vary wildly from musicians and more family-friendly fare to the more risque with burlesque and pole dancing (no one gets naked here, we promise!) throughout the week.

There's also a bar inside for those seeking refreshments. Security is maintained by specific Pokemon wandering about the establishment. New acts are always being scouted out for a wide array of talents!

Honeyed Soul
Location: Goldenrod City [Johto]
★ Botan ([personal profile] styxiedust) | player: Mozart
The bottom floor of a former fighting studio has been converted into a calm and cute cafe setting. Botan and her Pokemon fix up sweets and assorted other foods for pickup, delivery, or enjoyment inside the shop itself.

Radley's Diner and Eevee Sanctuary
Location: Goldenrod City [Johto]
★ Radley ([personal profile] crystalmaster) | player: Insaneladybug
An eatery sort of like a cat cafe, only with Pokemon. There are rooms where people can play with the Eevees for needed emotional, mental, or physical therapy. If the Eevees are in the mood, they may also make eggs, which may be sold to loving homes if Radley doesn't decide to keep them!

Radley is a talented chef and will provide menus based on dishes from back home on Earth—largely vegetarian since he doesn't trust the meat sources here. He also loves little Eevees and believes playing with them could be highly therapeutic for discouraged or depressed people. He wants to share the love of Eevees across the Pokemon world!

Training Center
Location: Celadon City [Kanto]
   ★ Riku (Retired character)
A place for trainers and Pokémon to hone in their skills. Has a large selection of highly trained Pokémon to work with, large rooms and arenas for Pokémon to improve their fitness (includes a gigantic pool), and other attractions. Also provides private tutoring or other opportunities. Provides free shuttle to people who catch the magnet train, ensuring a fairly short flight.

More information here and here.

Characters can also choose to rent a Pokémon for a period of up to ten days. There is usually a fee to go along with it although newbies may get a discount if they need to travel somewhere fast.

MISCELLANEOUS

Beginner's Manual
★ Norman Jayden ([personal profile] triptoprofiling) | player: Switch
A short and simple guide introducing the very basics on how to make it through the magnificent world of Pokemon. This guide contains tips and step by step information on how to survive the wilderness specifically.

Due to Norman leaving Johto, the manual's still available for download, but no longer being updated.

Training for Dummies
★ Riku ([personal profile] islandshore) | player: Mega
This up-to-date guide provides characters with information on the world they're in, Pokémon, and other aspects that may make their lives a bit easier as they travel through Johto/Kanto. It's also available in print form with images to help clarify the contents.
