Character: CHARACTER NAME | [personal profile] journal
Badge/Gym Leader: CLAIR
Elite/Regular: ELITE TEAM
Team: Kyusei, Boo, and Evey!
Battle Details: Ever hear of a victory lap-

Carly's here because of the prize- you have that reusable ticket right? Right? Great.

Given Aerodactyl is kicking it off, she starts things hard using Kyusei; some teleporting and shopping means he's got Ice Beam now, and that combined with his own otherwise tanky build makes that hit the rock-flying type hard. That's not the first move however. The first one, of course, is Yawn- gotta cover those bases after all.

There's a pretty strong chance the one that Clair sends out won't be Charizard after that of course- but that doesn't mean that Kyusei won't be useful when she does. The minute that fire-lizard hits the field it's the Yawn-and-Go strategy again, focusing on Whirlpool for constant chipping away and moves like Surf and Waterfall to otherwise hit hard.

When Kingdra appears however, it's Baby Boo's turn. That thing might prove tricky to most, but Boo has their old 'Trick-or-Treat strategy on their side. On top of that, she's got Confuse Ray, Astonish, and Leech Seed to get a bit of added protection going. If things get rough, she can use Pain Split as well- but for the most part with Trick-or-Treat in play, she should be fine slipping into the shadows with Phantom Force until the seahorse is gone.

Of course, that leaves three dragons.

Garchomp, Salamence, and Dragonite all have a x4 weakness to Kyusei's Ice Beam one way or another. Rather than bring out her fairy type, Carly's going to start things slow and steady for that reason. Yawn, Ice Beam- but those aren't strategies to rely on whole heartedly. Like noted, she still has that Alcremie after all. And Evey, with her megastone, is a force to behold- buffing up with decorate and using plenty of fairy focused attacks while keeping herself steady after laying down the Misty Terrain to cut down those dragon type strikes. Draining Kiss and Recover don't exactly hurt either.

All that...and hopefully Carly's going to be taking a nice cruise!
