Character: Connie Maheswaran | [personal profile] conniemaheswaran
Badge/Gym Leader: Mineral/Jasmine
Elite/Regular: Regular
Team: Nemean the Luxray, Artemis the Gallade, and Naga the Dragonite
Battle Details: Connie will open with Nemean, setting up with Electric Terrain then cycling between Charge and Discharge to bring the vulnerable Skarmory out of the sky with Special STAB attacks that target its weaker defense, eventually finishing it off with a Volt Switch. Sorry, Jasmine, no anime nonsense this time. Connie is playing for keeps. As Artemis switches in an instant before Magneton due to Nemean's Volt Switch, they'll power up with a Swords Dance then pummel Magneton with as many double-stage boosted and STAB Close Combats as it takes to KO the Magneton. Then, Steelix will appear, and Connie will bring out the big guns: Naga the Dragonite. While Steelix's Rock-type and Thunder Fang may give Naga trouble, the Dragonite has come prepared this time with two brand spanking new TMs—Sunny Day and Flamethrower. Naga will set up with Sunny Day then repeatedly hit Steelix right in the Fire-type weakness and lack of exceptional Special Defense as many times as it takes to bring it down, with the level discrepancy and higher Speed hopefully giving her enough time to wear down the Steelix before its Rock-type moves take her out.

Badge/Gym Leader: Rising/Clair
Elite/Regular: Regular
Team: Nemean the Luxray. Jormungandr the Dragapult, and Naga the Dragonite
Battle Details: Once again, Connie will start with Nemean using Electric Terrain, except this time he'll alternate between using Charge to defend from Gyarados's legendary Hyper Beam and Wild Charge to dish as much hurt as possible on Gyarados, relying on the level advantage and STAB to keep his HP up despite the recoil until the Atrocious Pokémon goes down. Next up is Jormungandr, who'll use his immense speed to his advantage and use that edge to start out with Dragon Dance, then once again brute forcing the match despite mutual vulnerability to Dragon-type moves through Dragon Darts and Dragon Rush. Finally, Naga, since of course the match had to end with Dragonite vs. Dragonite. Naga will use her bare advantage in speed due to level discrepancy to start out with Dragon Dance, then use Outrage to annihilate Clair's Dragonite, finishing it off with a Hyper Beam if necessary.
