Battle Details:

For this battle Newt is going to test out some new strategies to go along with her usual plan of hit hard, hit quickly. She also made sure to bring health potions with her.

So.

The Rhyperior is up first and Newt will sent out Liz as he has 4x advantage with Water attacks. Now the first move will be to use Rain Dance to power up Water moves even more for five turns. Second move is Whirlpool to trap the Rhyperior for 4-5 turns. Then we will start with the now highly powerful Water moves. Liz will be using a mix of Snipe Shot, Hydro Pump and Liquidation. Hopefully that will take out the opponent.

Against the Rampardos, Newt will switch Liz with Jingle as a part Steel type and also because she is Resistant to all the types of attack the Rampardos knows (ie: Dark, Normal, Rock and Psychic). That being said she has very few Steel attacks so will be using Mirror Shot a lot but will also throw in some Dark and Fairy attacks as needed. Such as Foul Play, Play Rough and Fairy Wind. She will also be using Draining Kiss to regain HP if needed. She will also use this chance to use the move Crafty Shield to protect herself and the rest of the team from Status Moves

Golem is next and Newt will switch back in Liz for that 4x Water advantage, using a turn to heal them. The strategy will be the same as used on the Rhyperior. Rain Dance and Whirlpool to both bring that Water type advantage up higher and then to attempt to trap the other pokemon from moving. Snipe Shot will be used of course but also Water Gun and Water Pulse, going for damage and Confusion with that last one.

Omastar is next and so a switch in strategy is required again. Flowers is brought out because there is a 4x advantage for grass attacks and she has a lot of those. The first move is to use Grassy Terrain to boost up the Grass move advantage even more, as well as an HP boost. Then of course, hit fast and hard with Grass moves such as Magical Leaf (which never misses) and Vine Whip. If things seem to drag on, she will use Leech Seed to slowly steal HP from the Omastar.

For Kabutops, Flowers will be left in and if needed, take a turn to heal. She will then use Grassy Terrain again to add to that 4x Grass advantage and also HP boost. She'll alternate the Grass attacks but still focus on hard hitting ones like Petal Dance, Grass Knot and okay yes, Magical Leaf, which is just fun. Also if HP is a problem, she will use Synthesis to regain it.

Lastly against the Onix, Newt will swap in Pinetree who is Grass/Ice and there's a 4x Grass advantage there and a 2x Ice advantage. He is also resistant to Ground attacks, if weak to Rock ones. He will be going for Grass attacks such as Razor Leaf and Bullet Seed. After a few rounds, Pinetree will use Ingrain to restore HP every turn. He will then go back to focusing on attacks. Also Blizzard will be used to attempt to freeze the Onix. Wood Hammer will only be used based on how low Pinetree's HP is already.

Newt also has Robert the Lucario and Iceberg the Walrein if she loses anyone and needs to switch in a new teammate. Hopefully that is not needed but if it is, Iceberg would be switched into any fight against someone weak to water types and then continue to use their Water attacks. While Robert would be using Fighting type attacks and can be switched in against any of them.
