Dimitri got to be there for Chip's battles, and he's used that experience to keep a close eye on Falkner's tactics - the little things like attack patterns, and tells of what attack a Pokemon might do before they do it. More battle tactics than, uh, Pokemon battle tactics. Battle tactics he'll be doing his best to actually actively remember from his school days, too!
Because he'll be using his Rat Duo, to take off bits of Falkner's health. He doesn't expect either of them to win even abusing Quick Attack, status moves, and speediness. So he will quickly call them back before either of them faint.
That's when he'll do his best to finish the job off with either his Munna (fingers crossed for Psybeam's Confusion) or his Pignite (Smog for poison, plus other status moves).
As before, he'll take his Pokemon out of the battle if they start to get weak, before they can faint.
And then, if he's run through all his Pokemon....
Dimitri busts out Fowi the Luxio the bully birds, as is her electric cat way. Spark will be tried for that paralyzing flavor, and Thundershock will be the brunt of damage. If Falkner tries to pull back any paralyzed Pokemon for one of higher health, Fowi has no shame in using Roar to veto that decision for him.
