Character: Dimitri Alexandre Blaiddyd | nastyboy Badge/Gym Leader: Whitney for the Plain Badge Elite/Regular: Regular Team Team:Team of Gremlin the Rattata, Grindy the Kingler, and Dean the Emboar, with backup consisting of Cofgodas the Raticate and Fowi the Luxray Battle Details: Dimitri is going to do his Absolute Best to come in at a time where not a lot of people around while Gym hours are still going, hiding as best he can in a hoodie, and hoping no one looks too closely at him and "recognizes" him as either a member of TEXO (he isn't) or the guy that was on the Cooking Contest episode (he is). That's going to fail almost the second he removes his hoodie and some trainers in Whitney's gym may possibly fangirl, not counting anyone else who hears of him being there.
So, like, he'll be honest: not loving that. Still, best as he can, he focuses on the match... although only after releasing one little bonus Pokemon that won't be a part of his fighting team. It might be hard to see what Pokemon it is, considering it tries to hide behind Dimitri's leg the second it's released from its ball...
Whitney may appreciate that Dimitri also busts out a Normal type Pokemon for the first go around with her Girafarig: Gremlin the Rattata.
Dimitri has tried to attend all the matches Chip has done before, so he knows that Girafarig has some psychic tricks up its sleeve. Thus, he does his best to make sure that Gremlin uses all the tricks in the book to buy himself time so that he doesn't get hit with Flinch or Confusion from one of Girafarig's attacks. This means abusing Quick Attack to get hits in before Girafarig does, and Bite for both that type advantage and hopes of a flinch in turn. If Whitney tries to pull Girafarig back, that's time for Pursuit, and if Gremlin is on the ropes, that's when Endeavor is brought out before followed up with a Quick Attack to try and pull Gremlin out ahead.
Dimitri will pull Gremlin out of the match if it looks like his rat is going to Faint, and finish things off with Cofgodas.
Up against Whitney's Clefable, Dimitri lets loose Grindy the Kingler. Grindy is just full of murder, as it turns out, and he's glad to go right into it with a Razor Shell which acts as something of a setup for the following Metal Claw. Much like before, Dimitri and his Pokemon want to finish this quick before Whitney's Clefable can bust something out like Sing, although they'll use Protect against her as an experiment in seeing if that helps.
Should Grindy look like he's going to faint, that's when Fowi the Luxray steps in, ready to just zap the shit out of everything.
And finally... Against Whitney's Miltank, whose power Dimitri has already witnessed, there's really only one solution in his mind. That would be Dean the Emboar, who strengthens up with a Defense Curl and then... It's Rollout VS Rollout, a battle to see whose strength can push through as the pair slam into each other again and again all throughout the arena. It's really just a matter of pushing through on strength, although Dean's higher level and Defense Curl do add a bit more power to his own attack. If both Pokemon manage to stay standing by the end of this high impact exchange, Dean will clean up by utilizing his Fighting strength with an Arm Thrust or three.
Win or lose, Dimitri still approaches Whitney after the battle to reveal what little Pokemon was watching all of this: a baby Miltank, not even old enough to have grown horns or udders! Dimitri wants Gaibhenenn the Miltank to properly meet Whitney's own, and tells the little cow Pokemon that this is what they are aiming for. Gaibhenenn is quite sparkly eyed about it all, with this being the first proper battle she's seen.
...Also please don't cry, Whitney, Dimitri doesn't know how to deal with that.
