Character: Chip Abaroa | [personal profile] demonpuppy
Badge/Gym Leader: Morty for the Fog Badge
Elite/Regular: Regular
Team: check 'battle' under the teams tab
Battle Details: Chip is, honestly, just going to attempt to bulldoze this. They have a very high level Necro type, who is very tanky, and has a lot of moves that are super effective against Necros. Yeah, they're facing the same weakness back at them, but they're confident that Michelin will pull through! The problem with that is Dusknoir is slow as shit, and doesn't have terribly high offensive stats. And when going up against glass canons, that's...not great, especially when you add on move weaknesses.

So! Michelin goes down despite a very good showing, and Chip defaults to Rocky because of course they do. She is indeed pretty strong, but Chip is choosing Dragon-type moves over Dark-type Crunch, so...there's a good chance that Misdreavus can wear her down with Confuse Ray, Pain Split, and all of that fun nonsense.

By stroke of PURE luck, Chip does not pitch a fit and throw out Sponk to waste literally everyone's time, but instead sends out Lazzo! This isn't the worst decision possible, but Corrosion only does so much when the trainer in question hasn't pieced together the Toxic+Venoshock combo yet and he likely will go down to Gengar. (Probably got a flinch or two in though, thanks King's Rock!) If so, it'll be Espie coming in to finish the fight!

(Don't mind the red nose and sniffling, Morty, Grant promises they're not contagious at this point.)
