These fights would've happened in May along with Jaskier and Kiri, but I've fallen horribly behind on these things, sorry! The levels are adjusted to what they would have been at the time of the fight.
Character: Geralt of Rivia | lovelybottom Badge/Gym Leader: Zephyr Badge/Faulkner Elite/Regular: REGULAR TEAM Team:Lycanroc, Dragalge, Jellicent Battle Details: Geralt's general strategy here is to exploit type advantage and use status effect moves to keep the fight in his advantage. The main player in his strategy will be Lambert the Lycanroc (60) who will use double-team and scary face to both raise his own evasion and take the edge off of flying type's speed advantage, stealth rock to injure any Pokemon that Falkner switches to, and then go to town with rock-type moves like rock tomb (further dropping speed) and stone edge (high critical rate). Should that not be sufficient, Geralt also has Pryzyjaciel the Dragalge (46) who, though he has no type advantage, knows thunderbolt, and Paczki the Jellicent (44) who knows ice beam.
Character: Geralt of Rivia | lovelybottom Badge/Gym Leader: Hive Badge/Bugsy Elite/Regular: REGULAR TEAM Team:Talonflame, Houndoom, Lampent Battle Details: Geralt's bug-murdering team is what the pros might call overleveled for this fight, but hey, here we are.
He'll lead out with Bard the Talonflame (78), because he doesn't fuck around and his general approach to fighting is to get this over with as quickly as possible. He'll start off on whichever of Bugsy's Pokemon is first with flame charge, which has the bonus of boosting Bard's already absurd speed stat, and then with acrobatics, which has doubled attack power when not holding an item. He'll definitely use that strategy on Bugsy's Heracross, because of the x4 flying type weakness. For the Scizor, he'll switch out for Eskel the Houndoom (73), because Scizor has a x4 fire type weakness and Eskel has better fire-type moves than Bard. Should those two not be enough, Geralt also has Yrden the Lampent (60), who also has some fire-type moves.
