Character: Jaskier | [personal profile] rollstoseduce
Badge/Gym Leader: Pryce for the Glacier badge
Elite/Regular: Regular
Team: Dahlia the Wigglytuff (85), Limelight the g!Rapidash (75), Viola the Luxray (89), Crocus the Exploud (50), Regina the Swanna (57), Dittany the Lapras (77)
Battle Details: WHY IS THIS GYM SO COLD?! Yes, Jaskier knows what the gym's type specialization is, but to hell with that, he calls bullshit! ...well, not aloud with that exact wording anyway. But he does grumble under his breath all the way from the door up to meeting Pryce, who gets A Look™ and a sarcastic "truly sticking to a theme here, huh?". Better or worse than his shameless flirting? The jury is still out on this one.

►Vs Dewgong
Dahlia the Wigglytuff opens this battle. She doesn't come with any type advantages, but she doesn't have type disavantages either - Jaskier trusts her extra twenty-five levels and status spam to help her win this battle. She Stockpiles to protect herself, then drops Sweet Kiss for confusion and Sing for sleeping (I don't know if this Dewgong has the rain+Hydration combo, but if it does, that should only take care of sleeping, not the confusion), Cute Charm may also take effect depending on the seal's gender. Then it's Play Rough-ing all the way through, adding a Swallow if she needs healing. If she can't finish Dewgong on her own, then Limelight the g!Rapidash will come in with his own extra fifteen levels, Agility to dodge and Psychic for heavy STAB damage.

►Vs Lapras
If you've been wondering where Jaskier's electric lion is, here he comes now. Viola the Luxray shows up with Intimidate and quite a few extra levels as well - after Leering, Discharge should do a quick job out of Lapras. Jaskier thinks Viola should be enough, but just in case, Crocus the Exploud has also come. He's only level fifty, but he should do enough with Thunder Fang if it's just clean-up.

►Vs Mamoswine
What is this? Jaskier isn't defaulting to Perish Song this time either? Amazing! Regina the Swanna is the one to come out to handle this mammoth - and yes, she is eight levels under the big guy, but she's also immune to Ground, receives neutral damage from Ice thanks to her type combo saving her usually-weak-against-the-cold feathers and has STAB moves Mamoswine is weak to. After setting Aqua Ring for healing (and, if Pryce has set up hail, Rain Dance to replace it with rain), she will spam the hell out of Surf - which is also the move that Dittany the Lapras will use if she has to replace her teammate for clean-up. Jaskier doubts Perish Song will be needed, but if it comes down to it in the end, Dittany will use it followed by good ol' stalling.
