Character: Eijiro Kirishima | machismost Badge/Gym Leader: Brock | Boulder Elite/Regular: Regular Team Team:Machoke Battle Details: Mods... I'm really sorry and so is Kirishima. Normally speaking, he would feel like it's fairest to use Pokemon that are within 10-20 levels of their opponents. However, Kirishima's Machoke (his starter) has something to prove since he's thus far not been the star of any of the gym challenges. In fact, he has only debatably battled in one gym match (against Whitney, and actually he was back-up for another fighter) thus far. This is absolutely unacceptable for this swole diva, who also considers himself to be the boss of Kirishima's team when the teen himself isn't present (and sometimes even when he is). Thus he has emotionally bullied Kirishima into letting him attempt Brock's gym all by himself. Either he's about to have a video he can proudly lord over his peers and mentees until the end of time or he's about to get himself a slice of humble pie.
Machoke will start things off with a Leer and Bulk Up because of course he needs to flex for the camera. If Rhyhorn has taken the opening to attack him, his next move is Revenge followed by Dynamic Punch. If this isn't enough to knock Rhyhorn out, he'll get frustrated and start going into Cross Chop.
When Golem comes out, Kirishima directs him to take a breath and Focus Energy. He will then Vital Throw, hoping for a one-hit K.O. If not, he's still got plenty of fighting moves to clean things up with.
Machoke wants nothing to do with Onix's infamous Bind and at this point is probably pretty injured anyway. He goes right into being aggressive with his remaining Cross Chops and for the coup de grace Seismic Toss.
Kirishima enters the arena wearing a rubber apron, gloves, and Krook sandals. Why?
The head-empty sunshine boys of the squad are out here making it a terrible idea to be anywhere remotely near water. Bolt will be used against Golduck and Ampharos will be used for Lapras and Starmie. With all of Misty's team being weak to electricity, I don't think I need to put any details here besides noting the whole battle was done with the utmost cheer. Afterwards, Kirishima's a little afraid to give belly-rubs and cuddle them, but he did come prepared.
