Pinsir: Demo the Graveler is sent out for this match and while Pinsir's Fight move(s) is 2x damage against this boulder, Demo's level advantage makes a possible Seismic Toss from Pinsir less effective, while his own Rock moves have a 4x effectiveness. That being said, I think the move in this case is to Defense Curl then Rollout to victory, and Stone Edge if Demo misses at any point or if he needs a coup de grace after the full Rollout.
Heracross: A fluffy little Torchic takes the field... and puffs his feathers into a Fire Spin, proceeding to try and Peck Heracross' hard shell until it faints.
Scizor: No more messing around, King Murder Explosion the Torchic Flamethrowers until the win.
Matsue is here to almost exclusively provide as the moral support and tank by laying down Sandstorm at the beginning of the round and when it's needed to refresh.
Electabuzz: Ant the Mudsdale will take this challenge after Matsue lays down a Sandstorm in the first round, which his is immune to. His starting move will be Earthquake, then Bulldoze, followed by High Horsepower.
Magneton: If Ant is still good for another hit or so, he'll Earthquake before giving over to Matsue to refresh the Sandstorm. Katar the Krookodle will then be sent out to Earthquake. The hope here is Katar will manage to get through this match and be able to smack Raichu at least once next round since his Moxie ability will boost that. If Magneton chooses to employ Magnet Rise, Kirishima will tell Katar to switch to Dark moves like Crunch.
Raichu: If all goes to plan then Katar will be able to Earthquake the first round with an added bonus from his Moxie. Then he will be switched out to Matsue to do Sandstorm. In the cover of Sandstorm, Gladius the Garchomp should come in being harder to hit. He will Bulldoze to knock down Raichu's speed and then Dig to victory.
Kirishima comes in with one Super Potion which he plans to use on Gladius, though he will throw it on Katar if needed to get him into the round with Raichu. He will accept defeat if he has to use Matsue as more than a buffer to apply this potion/Sandstorm appliance since he thinks it is unfair to challenge the gym with a 70+ Pokemon full-frontal.
