Character: Eri | candyapplechild Badge/Gym Leader: Falkner for the Zephyr Badge Elite/Regular: REGULAR TEAM Team:https://candyapplechild.dreamwidth.org/1023.html Battle Details: While Eri is getting picked up by Dimitri, they'll be stopping off at Violet as per Eri's request. She hasn't been interested in gym badges until now... until Ochako left. Now, she wants to give it a try after having watched so many battles before now.
Candy the Applin is fully sitting out this battle, as it only knows Withdraw and Astonish.
Eri will open with Yomi the Doublade, and start off with the first strategy that comes to mind... Swords Dance. Aiming to use it twice and bump up Yomi's attack before going at Falkner's Noctowl with Night Slash, aided by Yomi's No Guard ability to ensure attacks always land. Should this work, she'll stick with Yomi into Falkner's next Pokemon until she thinks that Yomi is getting too tired or if Yomi goes down.
Considering how Honchkrow comes out next, that's rather likely... hence her solution in sending out Cotton the Galarian Rapidash. Seeing as how she's a Fairy-Type, it's the first thing she thinks of... even if she's also a Psychic-Type. She may blunder at first, using a Psychic-Type move that's ineffective against the Dark-Type Honchkrow, but after that she knows better and will focus on attempting to bring Honchkrow down with Fairy Wind.
Finally, to deal with Pidgeot, she'll send out Shadow the Corviknight to attempt to match Pidgeot in the skies, who she believes can take Pidgeot down... and in the worst case scenario, she still has Noodle the Dragonair in the back.
