Battle Details:

Pinsir

To start off against Pinsir, Riz will bring out his Shedinja Asfel.

As a Shedinja, it can only be damaged by Flying, Rock, Ghost, Fire, or Dark type moves, none of which are normally in Pinsir's move pool. So, unless Bugsy went out of his way to teach Pinsir some additional moves, it should not be able to hit Shedinja at all.

From Riz's end, this battle will simply involve having Shedinja use Arial Ace on each of its turns (and switching to Gust, should that run out) to take advantage of Pinsir's weakness to Flying type moves.

Heracross

Against Heracross, Riz will bring out his Ninjask. As a part Flying type, she has good defences against Heracross' fighting type moves, and she'll also be able to exploit Heracross' flying weakness. Heracross does have one move, Ninjask is weak to (Arial Ace), but Riz is hoping her higher level will mean Tufsa has the HP to withstand a few hits of it.

The battle strategy itself will be pretty straightforward. Riz will have his Ninjask use Arial Ace to target Heracross' Flying weakness. Should he run out of PP for this move, he has Gust as a backup. And as a further back-up, should Ninjask's HP fall steeply, he'll have her use the Rest+Chesto berry combo to replenish it and put her back in the game.

Scizor

Good news, we've made it to Scizor! Bad news is that Scizor is only weak to Fire moves and Riz has exactly none of those. Unfortunately, Scizor is also immune to poison (so much for using Gozgoz or Tisz) and resists normal type attacks. What a horrible bug.

Riz will bring out his Yungoos. As mentioned, Scizor resists Normal type moves, which somewhat limits PI in what he'll be able to use, but Riz is hoping that big level difference will carry them into victory.

Starting off, Riz will have Yungoos use a few Mud Slaps. This is one of its few moves Scizor is not resistant too, and has the added bonus of hopefully lowering its accuracy. Once that has been taken down some, he'll switch to having Yungoos use Bite and Crunch. He'll focus on Bite at first (as that has the possibility to making Scizor flinch) but if his PP on that will run out, it's Crunch time. And due to Yungoos' Strongjaw ability, both these moves will be more powerful.

And as always, Riz has a Chesto berry ready and waiting on Yungoos, so if his HP dips too low, he'll have him use Rest+Chesto.

Final note is that while Riz is hoping to clear Bugsy's pokemon using these three, he is bringing his full party to the fight, and if any of his pokemon goes down unexpectedly, he's got them for back-up.
