Character: Jolyne Cujoh | strings_theory Badge/Gym Leader: Sabrina Elite/Regular: Regular Team:Here using Shi the swoobat as always Battle Details: This is probably going to be the most obnoxious gym for her. But she's got an ace up her sleeve and that is shoving a weakness policy on Shi for any potential ghost/dark move that might be on the rest of these nerds. However, given how this gym is, Shi will start out using imprison to cut off any moves that might be similar between the swoobat and the other Pokemon and this will be a constant with all three of Sabrina's Pokemon since she's pretty sure that psychics will all have stat raising nonsense, confusion, psychic, and future sight and she's keen on taking a lot of the bite off of these Pokemon (rest in piss, Alakazam in particular).
After that attract will be used on any Pokemon that are the opposite gender of Shi (which Jolyne hopes, uh, is all three of them but you know). Followed by the usual calm mind shenanigans coupled with simple to get to max special attack and special defense before just going in with a mixture of psychic, confusion (if attract did not work for that sweet, sweet confusion), and air slash (specifically due to this ALSO being a special attack and knowing full well this should be neutral damage at worst). Though if any of these nerds are faster than swoobat (probably... probably alakazam if I had to guess) there will also be liberal use of assurance for that sweet, sweet double damage if attacked first.
Character: Jolyne Cujoh | strings_theory Badge/Gym Leader: Surge Elite/Regular: Regular Team:Still here Battle Details: You know that whole weakness policy thing? Guess who bought a few of them at the Christmas Market, it was her. Also for this bullshit gym. While Shi has the levels advantage, knowing that electric is 2x damage is going to be important. Which is where weakness policy comes in because, let's be real, Surge will probably immediately go for the electric moves which will be absolutely fun and make it quicker to get immediately to maxed out special attack and special defense with this swoobat's combo of simple with calm mind. Again. Because it works.
With that out of the way, swoobat is going to be an absolute menace and start immediately putting the smack down on these poor Pokemon with no mercy psychics and assurance if these doofuses are faster than him somehow. By some weird way, if Shi happens to go down, the back up with 10000% be Isla since she won't take diddly from electric attacks and proceed to just lay the smackdown with earthquakes and mega drain, but hopefully it won't come down to this.
