Character: Bo-Katan Kryze | mywayistheway Badge/Gym Leader: Zephyr Badge Elite/Regular: Regular Team:Tooka, Paz, Laaran, Balutar, Kles Battle Details: Bo-Katan is ready for her first gym challenge! Though she comes in with six Pokémon, she only uses five as her grumpy Dragonite sits on the sidelines as a spectator. She is also not wearing her armor for some reason. Hm!
Noctowl Bo starts with her bird eating cat, Tooka. She would never forgive Bo if she didn’t get a chance to take out some big bird Pokémon! She starts with Taunt and then follows with repeated Power Gem. Unless the Noctowl gets the better of her she will finish it off with a Pay Day. Woo! Money! If the Noctowl is too much for her she will follow with Paz.
Honchkrow If Tooka beat the Noctowl the same strategy will apply here until the Persian is too low in HP to continue which will prompt Bo to switch to Paz if he’s not the one to start. This battle is taking place on Sunday, the last day of torrential rain. If Paz doesn’t need to use Rain Dance because of the weather then Bo won’t tell him to, but if he does then she will have him do it. Either way, with his water moves powered up that’s what Bo will focus on with Water Pulse and Aqua Tail. This will continue until the Honchkrow is defeated or Paz drops too low in HP. If Paz is defeated then Laaran will take over.
Pidgeot If Paz defeats the Honchkrow then his strategy will continue until he can’t go on. After him comes Bo’s Lapras, Laaran. If Rain is still in effect then Bo will immediately have her use Thunder and then Ice Beam. If Rain is not in effect for some reason then she will go for Confuse Ray and Ice Beam. If the Pidgeot manages to defeat Laaran, then Bo will switch to her Cyclizar. Balutar will use Shed Tail which will put up a substitute and he will switch out for Kles. The Nosepass hiding behind the substitute will use Rock Slide and Spark to hopefully finish off the Pidgeot. If for some reason Kles fails then Balutar will come back to use repeated Aqua Tail is there’s Rain or Bite if there’s not.
