Character: Harry Potter | [personal profile] phoenixwiz
Badge/Gym Leader: Fog Badge | Morty
Elite/Regular: Regular
Team: Sirius | Neville | Minerva | Olive | Ron | Rowan
Battle Details: Harry realizes as soon as he arrives at Morty’s gym that he might have over leveled his team for real along with the fact that Ghost type is weak against itself so it is all about needing to play smarter than ever. Sorry Morty but you are about to face a guy who has seen ghosts a lot in his world, including dead friends and family.

Haunter - Sirius is the first to go and he is ready to roast the competition (hopefully of the not literal kind). Over the level threshold and at the type advantage, this Houndoom is very keen to start this battle in the right paw. He will begin by unleashing Crunch on Haunter first. He will then switch between it, Bite and Feint Attack. Hey may also use Fire Fang and Thunder Fang as he wishes. Additionally he can unleash Torment to force Haunter not to attack with the same move twice and hit them hard with Foul Play. As a backup, Harry will set out Neville: the Mightyena, despite being a nervous wreck, is up for the challenge too. He will Sucker Punch his way with Crunch and Assurance as the main moves. He also has Snarl which it will make Haunter’s Special Attack stat to decrease. He also has Fire, Thunder, and Ice Fangs and Bite as back up moves.

Misdreavous - Uh oh, is there a major rivalry brewing between TWO Misdreavous today?!? Minerva the Misdreavous certainly thinks so as she wants to prove that she is the better Misdreavous much to Harry’s own horror. She will start her ‘I’m better than you’ campaign by unleashing a slew of Shadow Balls and bringing out Confuse Ray to scramble Morty’s Misdreavous. She has Hex within reach to inflict major damage (which can be doubled if the Misdreavous has a major infliction when it happens). Plus she has Payback to send her ‘twin’ packing and has Psybeam and Astonish for backup moves. But if things do go south, Ron the Umbreon will be at the ready to take it on. He will begin with Bite and Crunch and he will switch between them, Dark Pulse and Assurance for his main moves. Plus he has Snarl to lower Misdreavous’ Special Attack stat.

Gengar - Rowan will be taking the lead for this portion as he is very keen to unleash ghost Robin Hood bird prowess in the gym battle. He will begin this round with Shadow Sneak, attacking from behind and unleashing Spirit Shackle midway. He may opt to switch moves for most of the battle. And then much to everyone’s shock, Harry will switch Rowan out for Olive since he discovers that Gengar has a weakness to Ground types. Olive will unleash Mud Shot and Mud-Slap at it and even attack with Earthquake to disorient it further. He will then bring out Rowan again so he can use Astonish to smack some damage onto Gengar (which has a good chance of it flinching) so he can bring out Phantom Force to finish it off. Neville will be summoned in if Rowan was to get knocked out. He will primarily fight with Sucker Punch, Crunch and Assurance as the main moves. Neville has Snarl which it will weaken Gengar’s Special Attack. Plus he has Fire, Thunder, and Ice Fangs, Mud-Slap and Bite as back up moves.
