Character: Jinx | [personal profile] badluckbabe
Badge/Gym Leader: Plain Badge, Whitney
Elite/Regular: Regular
Team: Zep, Noir, Strawbeary

Battle Details:

Jinx has a lot of normal types on her team, so she's got a pretty good idea of what should help her with this gym. That's why she started off sending out her Drifloom Zep. Zep however felt more playful then ready for a battle and spent most of the first round just dodging attacks by the nature of being a ghost. When it finally did have to buckle down and start fighting back, it was so happy that it actually evolved into a drifblim! It was then...promptly flattened by a Girafarig.

Embarrassed by her pokemon childish behavior, Jinx fell back on her reliable Absol to hit strong and fast, managing to finish off Girafarig. However Clefairy proved a surprisingly powerful foe against Noir. Jinx hadn't counted on a fairy type and it cost her leaving her with two pokemon to defeat and only one pokemon left.

Cue Strawbeary the beware. The unsettling and creepy stare may have set the tone for the rest of the battle which mostly involved hammer arm attacks and using bind to endure the almost unstoppable powerhouse that was Whitney's Miltank once it started rolling around the arena like a pink pinball of death. The final Hammer arm attack sent the Miltank flying...right at Jinx who barely got out of the way in time.

After the match Jinx thanked Whitney, and asked if she had any advice for training her own Miltank to be as much of a powerhouse as Whiteney's.
