Two for One!

Character: Walter Sullivan | [personal profile] 11121_assumption
Badge/Gym Leader: Mineral Badge / Jasmine
Elite/Regular: Regular
Team: Bonfire, Robbie, Assumption, Joseph, Claudia, Truth
Battle Details: Walter's two main battlers here are going to be Bonfire and Robbie. Bonfire's up first, using Flamethrower and Fire Blast to melt through Skarmory and Magneton's health. Against Steelix, Walter will order her to use Fire Spin for continual damage, followed by a Will o' Wisp. He knows the Steelix's ground typing prevents Bonfire from being fully effective.

After Bonfire comes Robbie. Robbie's going to punch things, using Hammer Arm to break through Jasmine's steel types. Against the Steelix, Robbie will go all out use Superpower to take it out. Assumption is a back up, as always, in case Bonfire and Robbie fail to get it done, but given their high levels Walter doesn't believe the fight will escalate beyond Robbie.

Character: Walter Sullivan | [personal profile] 11121_assumption
Badge/Gym Leader: Storm Badge / Chuck
Elite/Regular: Regular
Team: Psyche, Reed, Doll, Assumption, Wisdom, Claudia
Battle Details: Walter's strategy again Chuck is a cruel one; abusing his Ghost Type's immunity to fighting attacks to render Chuck's Pokemon unable to fight back. He'll also have Wisdom stand beside him during this battle, as an intimidation technique; her dual typing would make her an awesome threat against Chuck's team, although her low level prevents her from actually battling. But still, it might be unnerving to see this Xatu calmly watching the battle, it's eyes flickering red at times...and it's not like Chuck can tell what level she is just by looking at her.

Psyche leads the assault, setting up with Stockpiles to boost her physical defenses. She'll then use Phantom Force and Shadow Ball to attack relentlessly. Should she be near fainting, she'll Baton Pass to the next fighter (Reed) so her stat boosts can continue to benefit the team. If she beats both the Hitmonchan and Hitmonlee, she'll Baton Pass regardless when the Poliwrath comes out.

Reed is intended to be held back specifically for the Poliwrath, to capitalise on it's Grass weakness with Leaf Blade. Walter even gave him the Miracle Seed to hold, to ensure a one-shot knock out. If he has to face any other Pokemon, Reed will be using Brave Bird to still capitalise on Fighting's weakness to Flying types. Doll and Assumption are there as backups, using similar tactics with Assumption using Retaliate to gain revenge for whoever was knocked out before him. Claudia is there to help Walter keep cool (the weather has been extremely hot lately).
