Character: Jinx | badluckbabe Badge/Gym Leader: Zephyr Badge Elite/Regular: REGULAR TEAM Team:Zest, Ms. Fortune, Faux Battle Details: Honestly Jinx had this whole thing planned out where she would use only cat Pokemon because she has a lot of them, and birds vs cats right? Plus it would give her weaker pokemon a chance to shine.
Things flew off the rails pretty fast though. Originally Jinx had intended to start out with Mr. E, both because he's a scrappy little fighter and to amp up Ms. Fortune for her battle (She considers herself Mr. E's rival and always gets fired up when he fights)
HOWEVER Zest came out instead because the little Fairy type hasn't had a good fight in awhile and saw her opportunity to steal the spotlight. Deciding to make the best of an embarrassing situation Jinx let Zest fight and was pleasantly surprised. She put up a decent fight even if she was painfully outclassed and under leveled. Zest really seemed to get under Noctowl's feathers with her distracting moves like Charm and Sweet Scent. In the end however the Noctowl knocked Zest from the sky and Jinx was down one to three.
Attempting to save face, Jinx brought out Ms. Fortune to let her finish the job Zest had started. Noctowl still had a decent amount of HP though and Ms. Fortune's burning passion refused to let her back down even when she got tricked by the clever bird into shooting fire at Jinx. Enraged Ms. Fortune launched herself through the air and brought Noctowl down with a wicked Fire Fang attack.
Now that she was all fired up, Ms. Fortune didn't hesitate to rush into battle against the Honchkrow that arrived next. Living with a particularly tricky Murkrow made Ms. Fortune think she knew all the birds tricks, but Honchkrow had her chasing her own tail for a spell trying to land a strike on him. When she finally did it was powerful, but she ended up taking a fair amount of damage in the process leaving her too weak for the final throwdown with Pidgeot.
By this point Jinx was no longer interested in playing fair or making a show of it. She wanted to win and she wanted to tend to her now singed pink hair. Calling out Faux the Jynx she assaulted Pidgeot with a bitter combination of Ice punches and the newly learned move Avalanche which Jinx was pleased to see was just as flashy as it's name.
Not her proudest victory, but Jinx will take any win she can get.
