Character: Stanford Pines | [personal profile] meteorman
Badge/Gym Leader: Mineral Badge | Jasmine
Elite/Regular: Elite
Team: Fantastic Mr. Fox, Roswell, Scylla, Titania (all level 100)
Battle Details:

Because he was contractually obligated, Ford brought the Ninetales. Mr. Fox's first move will be to Will-o-Wisp to cripple Jasmine's Metagross and cut its sizeable attack stat. Then he'll be setting up a Sunny Day to put some extra oomph into his Fire moves on top of his Charcoal, and stick to Flamethrower with some of his other Fire moves thrown in for variety if he thinks he can chance the lower accuracy.

When the Bronzong comes in the first order of business will be to hit it with another Will-o-Wisp for some extra passive damage and then it's back to damaging moves. The one problem with Bronzong is that it knows Rain Dance and can put Mr. Fox in a tough spot with it, and it might also have Heatproof, so should either of those scenarios be true Ford will swap Mr. Fox out for Roswell instead. Her Shadow Ball should do just fine against the Bronzong, especially in combination with the burn damage.

Scylla is out next against the Skarmory. Ford expects Jasmine to use her first turn to set up Spikes: it's what he would do. He's going to use that first turn to Coil. Then it's Ice Moves for the Skarmory until it folds and she can start in on the Steelix with her heavy arsenal of Water type moves. If she can afford to set up another Coil she will, but should her health dip alarmingly she'll be Baton-Passing out into Titania and passing off those boosts. Even one Coil-boosted Earthquake is gonna be real bad news for an already-damaged Steelix, but Ford fully expects having to pull off two to actually break through its wildly high defense. There's a reason he chose Titania, whose defense is none to shabby -- she can even use a turn to Rapid Spin away those Spikes.

Titania is staying in against the Magnezone. If it has Magnet Pull she'll have no choice. Luckily it doesn't Levitate, so she can just hit it with a quad-effective Earthquake and ruin its life. The ideal is that it does have Magnet Pull, in fact, because then he won't have to deal with Sturdy dragging things out. Either way, Roswell is back out again to finish things off against the Empoleon. There's not much a Bronzong could have done to her in the grand scheme of things, and if she's coming in with less-than-stellar health she can Recover. Then it's a simple matter of hitting the Empoleon with a Thunderbolt or two to wrap things up.
