Grace the Gothorita, Ginger the Houndoom, and Cheeks the Pachirisu Battle Details: Anna was maybe a little lax in getting her badges while she was staying in Goldenrod, so when she and Chloe headed out of town, she decided to make a pit stop at the Goldenrod Gym and tackle Whitney on the way. She brought Grace, who evolved recently into a Gothorita, to take down Whitney's Girafarig, and Ginger the Houndoom for Clefable. They're closer in level, so even if Whitney's Pokemon burn through them, Anna still has Cheeks the Pachirisu to take down that Miltank with his higher-level moves.
Badge/Gym Leader: Morty Elite/Regular: Regular Team: Effie the Pumpkaboo, Grace the Gothorita, Ginger the Houndoom Battle Details: Anna goes into battling Morty with a mixture of fear and confidence; she knows type matchups against Ghost and Psychic types can be tricky, but she's also pretty sure she's brought the right Pokemon for the job. She takes Ginger in first to go up against Haunter with his strong Feint Attack and Crunch. Grace gets to go up against Misdreavus, using her Ghost-type moves to wear the Misdreavus down before sending out Effie the Pumpkaboo if necessary. Effie will then go up against Gengar.
