ONE OF THESE IS SUPER BACKDATED

Character: Pamela Isley | [personal profile] toxicodendron_isley
Badge/Gym Leader: Zephyr Badge
Elite/Regular: Regular
Team: Petra
Battle Details: Ivy needs to be able to fly on her leafy dinosaur, so this is way passed overdue.

Ivy's pretty confident she can probably solo run this gym with Petra so let's give it our best shot.

This Rock type not only has the advantage on the attack with STAB, but also in the defense. Her high level combined with using Tearful Look at the beginning of each switch out should keep her from getting knocked out even from stray crits.

Her attack strategy is pretty simple. Spam the hell out of Rock Slide. True Pam could pick Head Smash (because she doesn't need to worry about recoil) or even Stone Edge but she'd rather stick with a good accuracy.

Badge/Gym Leader: Rising Badge
Elite/Regular: Regular
Team: Roma, AJ
Battle Details: After the fight with Surge, Pam's idea for this gym is to attempt another solo run. More so for a challenge as the rest of her Pokemon are getting far too high level. So the plan here is to solo with Roma. AJ is simply here for backup as she's another lower level Pokemon that could do with training. Roma is equipped with a Chesto Berry.

The strategy this time is to build up the stats while Gyarados on the field. First thing is to make that Gyarados less threatening while we set up, so first let's get a good Toxic on that terrifying thing. Now it's taking worse and worse poison damage over time, let's throw a Sweet Kiss ontop of that so now he's confused and has a chance of damaging himself instead of us.

Now we stack those Calm Mind's, over and over, Ivy wants at least 3 on there so our Sp. Atk and Sp. Def is nice and high. If the Gyarados hasn't gone down by now to a combination of it's confusion and poison, time to put it out of its misery with a well place Flail, which will be nice and strong as it's been whittling away at our setting-up-Roma's health. Then it's time for a Rest to get us back to full health and an immediate wake up with a Chesto Berry.

Now Pam sits back and let's Roma Moonblast her way to victory. She's not expecting much fight given the STAB boost plus 3+ from the Calm Minds. I hope Clair is in the mood to be beaten up by a tiny floating flamingo.

If by some freak act of the RNG God's things don't work out that way she's planning, Ivy had AJ, who's coming packed with a special egg move of Dragon  Breath.
