Character: Jack Morrison | [personal profile] unabates
Badge/Gym Leader: Hive/Bugsy
Elite/Regular: REGULAR TEAM
Team: Bandit, Scout, Crybaby, Dixie, and Absolute Last Resort Laika.
Battle Details: HERE WE GO, another close-level match up for Jack Morrison. He knows all of his Pokemon have weaknesses against certain members of Bugsy's team, so he's going to be playing hard to type disadvantages. He's got a stock of potions and a couple revives - but only a couple.

He'll open with Bandit against the Pinsir, playing to that hard disadvantage against rock. He's also going to open with Taunt, hoping to keep the Pinsir from building energy or defense at the start. He'll hit hard with Rock Edge, then start slamming Rock Slide in the hopes to keep the Pinsir flinching until it goes down.

He's swapping Bandit for Crybaby against the Heracross. This is a risky move, considering Fighting is Crybaby's only weakness, and Heracross has a few moves that can hurt her. He's going to open with Charm, however, and then slam Disarming Voice. If he has to, he'll toss some potions onto Crybaby to keep her up. Should she fall, Jack is bringing out Bandit and hoping he can clean up. Should Bandit fall, his backup is Scout, who should be able to clean house.

Scout will be the last swapped in (or left in) for the Scizor, for that x4 weakness to fire. If he was left in, Jack will heal him up and then Revive Crybaby (her lack of weaknesses to the Scizor makes her a backup choice). Agility and then liberal use of Flame Burst and Flame Wheel are the name of the game here.

Should Scout fall, Dixie is coming in to hammer hard with fire moves. Should she fall, Bandit will be subbed in - if he's still unconscious, then Jack is bringing in Crybaby with Double Edge.

Should all of the previous Pokemon fall, Jack will absolutely sub in his last resort, Laika. At level 48, she should be able to handle a Scizor - but she's also not originally his and not inclined to listen to him.

He's just hoping if the Scizor attacks her, that she'll get pissed off enough to return the favor with fire while he revives and heals up Scout.

But, if he's lucky, he hopefully won't have to use her.
