Character: Dandy | [personal profile] adandyinspace
Badge/Gym Leader: Fog Badge - Morty
Elite/Regular: Regular
Team: Martini (lv 66), Lulu (lv 64), Ass Rat (lv 66)
Battle Details:

Dandy isn't much of a trainer, but he does really want to surf and he has been putting extra effort into training his little monsters ever since the last contest rolled around. Who knew trying to score sweet moves also made them stronger? He's also not the brightest when it comes to type advantages, but his two favorite Pokémon just happen to be dark-type. Is he aware they have the upper hand? It's hard to tell with him.

Martini would be first since she's his baby and it finally gives her a chance to legally bite someone. So of course her move of choice would be Crunch. She's not evolved, but she does have Hustle which means when she does hit, she hits hard. Chances are she'd also use Roar a lot to forcibly switch Morty's Pokémon just to be annoying, because this wouldn't be a Dandy battle if it wasn't really annoying.

Honolulu Hot Wings isn't a dark-type like the others, but she is a normal-type, which means ghost moves aren't hitting her. Dandy will find that hilarious until he realizes normal-type moves aren't hitting either. What the hell?? Oh well, she still has her flying-type moves, including Beak Blast. At the off chance any of these ghosts make physical contact with her while she charges up, they could get a nasty burn. Other than that, she's mostly here for the pure power, but that doesn't mean poison-type moves can't do her in.

Thankfully there's Dandy's pride and joy, Ass Rat. She has the advantage of being a dark-type AND has the resistance that comes with being a fellow poison-type. Like Martini, she packs powerful moves like Crunch and Sucker Punch, but she's also much faster and can probably take more hits. She also has her Stench ability, which can cause a flinch with any of her attacking moves. (Or just make other Pokémon not want to come near her because she smells.)
