It's a good thing that Steel resists Dragon, and that literally every one of Clair's Pokemon are weak to Electric? Honestly, COS is SO excited to box a fucking Dragon. This is the best thing that's happened to her all week. Her awful Substitute + Rest combo, plus Bulk Up, plus Ice Punch and Thunder Punch. She is, however, weak to Flying? So if... say, Gyarados does COS in, Dirk will retaliate with Pulse Train, taking a turn to Gear Up before using Lock On and Zap Cannon. At the end of the run (assuming there's even a need) is Acorn... not the most intuitive choice, but he's fast and Dirk's taken off the Assault Vest so Hypnosis and Attract are BACK on the table. For damage, he's counting on less type-y moves like Poison Jab and Return to sweep up whatever is left. Hopefully not much. He's realised his team has a lot of holes in it... not surprising, but he's definitely planning to take a break once he has his Keystone and work on that.
