Character: Connie Maheswaran | [personal profile] conniemaheswaran
Badge: Zephyr
Elite/Regular: Regular
Team: Chandrahas the Aegislash, Naga the Dragonite, and Nemean the Luxray
Battle Details: Despite the level disparity between her own Pokémon's and Falkner's, Connie is taking this match dead seriously. (She needs to show off to Akane, after all.) First, she'll bring out Naga the Dragonite and have her use Safeguard, since Noctowl's Hypnosis could be a major setback for her team. She'll then switch out Naga for Nemean the Luxray to avoid Noctowl's Synchronoise, and Nemean will use Charge, upping his Special Defense to weather Noctowl's primarily Special-based moveset then go for a one-hit KO with Thunder Fang due to Noctowl's low Defense. If that doesn't work, Nemean will continue Charging then Thunder Fanging to try and outlast Noctowl through constantly-increasing Special Defense.

After Noctowl's taken care of, Connie will bring out Chandrahas the Aegislash and use her King's Shield to block Honchkrow's first attack—Falkner's second Pokémon has a surprisingly formidable Attack, and Connie would rather be wary than have one of her Pokémon taken out unexpectedly, and King's Shield will decrease Honchkrow's Attack by a lot. Afterwards, Connie will command Chandrahas to use Swords Dance while she's in Shield Forme, powering up while it's in a state that Honchkrow's reduced Attack will find difficult to scratch. She'll then pull out all the stops: a Head Smash at super effectiveness with an even more titanic Attack stat than Honchkrow's while powered up by Swords Dance. If Honchkrow is somehow still standing after the Head Smash, Connie will call back Chandrahas, bring out Nemean again, use his Intimidate ability to bring down Honchkrow's Attack further, and finish the bird off

(While Chandrahas is using Swords Dance, Connie will take out a training sword and begin going through a sword form in perfect synchronization with Chandrahas's own dance, ending with a stroke with enough force behind it to snap the training sword in half when Chandrahas uses Head Smash. She has to show off, after all.)

For the final sortie, Connie will bring out Nemean to bring down Pidgeot's Attack with Intimidate and to use Electric Terrain before switching him out for Naga, who will take advantage of the Electric Terrain setup to do some slick acrobatic maneuvers, take to the sky, and being ORAORAORAORA-ing Pidgeot with a series of Thunder Punches. With a huge disparity in power levels and Electric Terrain, this shouldn't take long, but Connie's a firm believer in finishing a battle with style.
