Character: Tyler Huang | asmywitness Badge/Gym Leader: Ecruteak Gym Elite/Regular: regular all the way Team:Team here, using Dexter, Caltrops and Jester Battle Details: Tyler plans on opening with Caltrops to face off against the large target of Haunter, and will be opening with Autotomize and Magnet Rise to turn himself into a speeding cannonball of doom and start crashing around the stadium at ridiculous speeds. Any attacks that come at him, he'll flash on Protect, and will largely be using Heavy Slam to try and crush the Haunter - since Haunter weighs 0.2lb, he's going to do max damage even with the staggering weight loss - and fire off Mirror Shot and Zap Cannon to do ranged damage.
Dexter is planned to go against Misdreavus. Despite the slight level disadvantage, the use of Nasty Plot and Smog will shroud the battlefield in enough darkness that Dexter can be much more sly in its use of Inferno and Feint Attack, leading up to finishing off Misdreavus with a vicious flurry of Thunder Fang, Fire Fang and Bite.
Fighting the Gengar is a risky play: Tyler's using Jester, a Dusknoir. He'll open with Future Sight, to try and use that knowledge to gain as much of an upper hand on the speedier Ghost as possible. He'll use Bind next, and Shadow Sneak into range so he can wail on Gengar with Shadow Punch and Ice Punch. When Gengar breaks free, Jester will use Astonish to make it flinch, then Shadow Sneak to gain some distance and fire off a Shadow Ball or two before he repeats the whole thing. This is largely going to be a war of attrition, with Jester's increased defense stats. If things start getting dire, he'll use Curse and Gravity to slow the Gengar down further, and move onto staying out of reach until it gets too worn down to fight back properly.
