Revisions!

Foo Fighters is all about learning, and for the sake of learning no question is too ridiculous if it means it gets to learn something from it. Asking people why they do the things they do or how something works helps it gain a better understanding and form a better sense of self. At first existing within the host body was a matter of just fitting in with the human race and just learning about the way that person previously thought or felt in order to go unnoticed but eventually it became more than that.

Being with Jolyne and Hermes Foo Fighters was able to learn how different each person could be, from their sense of purpose to how they handle any and all situations. Soon enough Foo realizes that the other inmates don't really like them too much, more than likely because of the way the host body used to be while incarcerated. Instead of shrugging it off and accepting it wouldn't be liked Foo comes to the conclusion that if you don't like something you need to change it.

Instead of being combative with your average inmate (non-stand user) Foo decides it's best to be methodically passive, that is to say that instead of outwardly being on the defense it allows them to feel as if they're taking advantage when in fact they're inciting aggression amongst themselves. Foo Fighters also goes as far as to try and establish their own identity by making the most subtle changes that wouldn't affect anyone but themself, little things such as choosing their own dominant hand or drinking tea instead of coffee. Matters such as these. This isn't something that was necessary for Foo Fighters to do, they could've just focused on blending into the prison populous but instead chose to establish their own identity as well as motives.

While searching for its motive Foo Fighters realized that instead of simply being indebted to Jolyne for sparring their life that it truly wanted to protect her as well as fight for her purpose. Jolyne and everyone else became more than just creatures to them, they were considered friends. People they enjoyed the company of and felt they could rely on.
