While we understand that sometimes canon can take characters into directions that are not in line with a person's expectations and that that can be disappointing, your hardline rejection of what is canon (as gleaned from your ooc note on his future development) leaves us with doubts as to whether you will be able to play Lotor without this attitude reflecting in your playing. We also do not feel that this is something that can simply be ignored by apping him from an earlier canonpoint, as even at this canonpoint Lotor has been engaging in behaviour that makes him a far darker moral gray than we feel you reflect in your application, such as him harvesting Alteans for Quintessence, something which you have completely omitted from your application. While the reveal of these facts may have come from after your canon point, as they are relevant to Lotor's current actions, they should've been mentioned.

For these reasons, we cannot accept your application at this time. You are free to reapply for this character (and others) in the future after reworking your application.
