Valentino, like all Nulls, has some strange oddities about it. Despite having all its battle capabilities removed (and, in fact, despite the fact that Type: Null is unable to learn this move at all!) Valentino's presence will have the same effect on other pokemon as the move Attract has. Valentino seems unable (unwilling?) to control this. The Attract effect happens at random, and can last anywhere from a minute to half an hour. All pokemon in its presence (regardless of gender or even lack of gender) will be affected.
