In their wandering, Jonathan and Mari will find a room that contains two large objects.
The first is a large brass bell. It's easily big enough that two to three people could stand inside it. Or sit even, considering there is a bench along the inside of the bell. There actually appear to be two small windows in the side of the bell. A large eye on top of the bell with an equally large chain that trails to the floor completes the scene.
The second is a heavy suit made of leather. It looks rather horrifying at first, but between that and the presence of the large bell, it will become clear that this room actually contains old diving equipment. Perhaps this was used by the people of the temple to inspect the outside of it. Perhaps they merely collected it as a curiosity. In any case, it is here now.
It's also, unfortunately, far too heavy to move, so they will not be able to do more than admire it and think about how far human technology has come.
