Goodness gracious! Five battles in and we're starting to feel exhaustion creeping in. Or maybe there's something else that's doing the creeping. Like the freezing cold up here in Montenevera. Cold like a graveyard, perhaps. Or cold like Ryme's chill beats. But if you like music, you'll soon feel all warmed-up after hitting the dance battle floor and getting it on.

So come on in. It's time for a battle!

Banette

If there's one thing in this world that Ghosts really don't like, it's Dark moves. Which is funny when you think about it, because ghosts and darkness are supposed to go together like chips and dip. No matter. We're taking advantage of this fact. That's why Keldor brought his Krookodile and Roaring Moon. Between the two of them, they'll give their opponents the beat-ing of an after-lifetime. So to start off with, it's Sunatchi, who'd very much like to teach Banette the joys of classic Rock, like kicking up a Sandstorm. Oh, you don't like that old time rock and roll? Well you'll enjoy Sand Tomb even less. With both moves providing damage, Sunatchi can take his time Crunching and Biting through all of Banette and its vinyl collection of hip hop.

Mic drop.

Mimikyu

With Pikachu being something of the og mascot for the franchise, it's not very surprising that there are others trying to copy its style. Including Mimikyu. Who's just sitting there. Staring. As if it knows that Sunatchi's Dark typing is going to cause him problems. And we don't have any Ghost or Steel moves to use here. No matter. We didn't come this far to forfeit now. It's going to be up to Asama to take care of things, whittling at its hit points with a series of Bites, Crunches, a Rock Slide and even a Flamethrower until it finally flops over.

Golurk

Is Golurk's favourite dance the robot? We'd like to say that it is. But there'll be no robot today—it's time to use a different set of moves, and rolling out to show them off is Shidosanda. But... Golurk is immune to Electric. Oh, but Shidosanda is also a Grass type, and that'll make it sweat for sure. Grassy Terrain ensures that the Electrode's moves are as powerful as possible, while keeping Golurk inert by powering it with Stun Spore, then pelt away with Bullet Seed.

Rock and roll!

Spiritomb

Oh dear. Keldor's realising that maybe he should've thought more about what to bring with him on this journey, as he has no Fairy type moves either—the one thing that Spiritomb would fear the most. Nothing to be done about it; just send Sunatchi back in, now that he's Moxie-powered and thus can do more damage through judicious useage of Sandstorm and Sand Tomb, before Digging down, and popping back up to get in a Bite or two.

Sometimes you've just gotta improvise.

Houndstone

Ahhh back to normal speed. Houndstone is vulnerable to Dark moves, but Sunatchi should beware. You don't want it to Lick or Charm you, and you definitely don't want to Play Rough with you. So we'll just Hone our Claws, then Dig back down into the tunnel system we've created, then it's Whack-a-Crock as Sunatchi pops up just long enough to get some Bites in, then leaping out for a Foul Play.

Toxitricity

No idea going in which version of Toxitricity we're getting; only that no matter whether amped or low key, it's not going to enjoy dueting with Sunatchi. We might've overlooked some things today, type-wise, but bringing in a Ground type is about to make up for these oversights. Ryme isn't going to make things easy—Poison can still hurt, and a luck shot with Poison Jab can make Sunatchi sing a different song. So we just won't let it touch us; we'll Dig down again, and this time, instead of poking up here and there, we'll just bring the house down with Earthquakes.

And that's a rap—er, wrap.
