Berry farming is absolutely allowed! There are portable berry pots available to grow a single plant at a time while on the road, or they can be grown in a backyard space like any other plant. There isn't a specific place to do so or any kind of berry grower's license required. If she wants to get really fancy and set up a little field she'll likely get the best yield from her plants, but that isn't a requirement.
