Is it alright to handwave the existence of random npc egg sellers and whatnot? Not selling super rare pokemon eggs or anything of course, so kept within reason.

This question was brought on by the idea of getting scammed by a potential random npc by buying what they think is a Good Egg but is in fact not at all the Pokemon they thought it was. But I figured it could also work for less dubious purposes as well.
