December ??? - ??? You lean back in your office chair. The dreary December light filters through the slats of your office window. You feel there is something in the air, something abuzz in the city, but what? Unfortunately, you cannot do anything but wait.
December 1st - 31st - Christmas Market Over in Goldenrod City, the yearly Christmas Market has opened again. Why not browse the stalls and see if you can find those hard to find TMs or held items?
December 5th - Swarm Today, you might get a bit of a surprise if you go out walking. Suddenly, strange little heads might poke out from through the snow in front of you, before zipping away again just as quickly. Did you-- did you see that right? Or was that just a weird trick of the light. Try not to stare into the hole left in the snow for too long though, or you might just find a hammer coming down on your head! Looks like there are two swarms happening today and they are playing an odd sort of cat and mouse game. Or... Tink and Wiggle game?
December 17th - Swarm An icy spell has left everything outside pretty, well, icy! Be careful if you have to venture out because you might just end up on your butt. Or will you? Strangely it seems like someone salted the walkways to make sure people aren't slip-sliding all over the place. Could these strange pokemon have anything to do with it?

December 1st - December 10th
Clear skies are interspersed with periods of snow. The days are cold, the nights are colder, and you'll have a heck of a time trying to spot any fire pokemon. They've all hunkered down wherever it is that they spend the winter. If you have a fire pokemon yourself, you might just find them rather unwilling to leave the house. No, this is definitely the time of ice pokemon, and you'll be able to spot those a bit more regularly now.
December 11th - December17th
This week, the temperatures rise slightly. The nights are still cold and frosty, but during the day time, the temperatures occasionally make it just above freezing. Unfortunately, that just means the top layer of snow will melt ever so slightly, before freezing again, leaving everything icy and slippery. Look out if you are setting out this week. Nobody wants to spend Christmas with their ankle taped up cause they took a fall.
December 18th - December 24th
The constant freezing weather returns once more. It doesn't snow as much this week, but the clear skies just mean the temperatures are seriously cold. Especially at night. Take care to bundle up tight, and maybe add another blanket to your bed. Though, if you are into ice skating, you are in luck. Every pond around is frozen solid, meaning you won't even need to visit the ice rink to get some skating done. An idea, perhaps, for a romantic date?
December 25th - December 31st
We are in the homestretch now. The final week of the year. Crazy how fast it has all gone. Of course, winter is still here to stay, and the weather changes little, but if your characters are willing to brave the cold this week, they might just see something rare and unusual in the skies above Johto and Kanto.
