_{March 8th-10th - Swarm: Joltik You To A Stop
Unzip your tent anytime in the beginning of this week and you'll find several Joltik clinging to the underside of the rainfly, blinking at you with their tiny cute little eyes. Or maybe you're a homeowner, or staying in an inn, and you keep finding them in your cupboards. It's very buggy in general, actually - you're just as likely to find swarms of Galvantula, Charjabug, and Vikavolt out and about. (There is an odd absence of Grubbins, though... you'd think that they'd be accompanying their evolved brethren?)

March 14th-16th: Swarm: Dedenne Out Of Ten
There's a mouse infestation! More specifically, towns and cities are full of Dedenne and Togedemaru, the round little mice bounding to and fro. They're very cute... until they start getting aggressive about the food in your bag. Has someone been feeding all these little guys? They are absolutely ready to zap you for it if you don't cough up!

March 19th-21st: Swarm: Shinx And You'll Miss It
It seems like the swarm of mouse Pokemon earlier this week has summoned some predators ready to chase them down - how else do you explain the multitude of Shinx, Luxio, and Luxray that have shown up? Prides of them roam the Routes, and the adults are very defensive of their cubs. Don't forget that Luxrays have x-ray vision; there's nowhere to hide if you make them angry!
You'd think that cities would be safe, but that old man who lives on the corner keeps mistaking Shinxes for stray Meowths and bringing them inside...

March 22nd-28th: Event: Shocking Behavior
There's something alarming about this storm. It's not just that the excess of Electric Pokemon this month seems to have been leading up to a swarm like nothing else, but also that everyone zapped is starting to act... oddly intense? And somehow, it's infectuous!}

_{March 1st-6th
The snow continues to melt, if slowly: the sky is overcast almost all week. Routes remain slushy and wet, as do city streets.

March 7th-16th
It's sunny! It's still not exactly warm, but the weather is mild and pleasant, almost unseasonably so. Perhaps this heralds a smooth transition to spring? Weather forecasters are cautiously optimistic.

March 17th-20th
Clouds are building, as is the ambient pressure - here's hoping you're not prone to headaches! Weather forecasters scramble to predict the storm of the year, seemingly spun up as of out of nowhere - is the excess of Electric Pokemon somehow to blame?

March 21st-31st
The storm has begun! Thunder, lightning, rain, the whole shebang! There's even the occasional thundersnow, though none of the snow survives subsequent bouts of rain. The real trouble, though, is that it isn't letting up: the rain and lightning linger for days on end, clouds hanging heavy over all of Kanto and Johto, and the only difference from hour to hour is whether it's pouring or drizzling. Some Routes begin to flood out. But you may quickly be too distracted with certain other things going on to worry much about the wet...}

_{March 1-3: Swarm!
OH ARCEUS IT’S A LION, GET ON THE WARP PAD! Enormous prides of wild Shinxes, Luxios, Luxrays, Litleos and Pyroars are marching southward across both regions, and they seem to be bolder than normal, as they’re heading straight into towns and cities. Most folks are used to having to shoo a wild Zigzagoon or two off their porch at night, but what happens when a fully-grown fire-breathing lion decides it wants to find out what’s in your foyer?

March 10: Freaky Friday!
It’s Blizzard time! Winter gets the last laugh as the moderate snowstorm from the previous day becomes a full-on blizzard-- but what’s this? All the snowmen (and snowmon) built in yesterday’s fresh snow are looking pretty lively! All snow creations (whether made by player characters or NPCs) will become animated and interactive. They can’t produce sounds, but they will behave roughly like whatever they were supposed to be! Have fun! Don’t forget to wear layers!

March 17: Freaky Friday!
Aura? More like… aurora! Or in this case, Aurora Veil! Characters may wake up surrounded by a colorful aura that reflects their emotional state, changing with their moods. Upon nightfall, the auras will dissipate… and a beautiful aurora borealis will be visible in the night sky throughout Johto and Kanto alike.

March 24: Freaky Friday!
After such a miserable, chilly start to the month, it’s kind of a relief to have such a beautiful, Sunny Day! As a matter of fact, trainers might find themselves feeling a lot more cheerful than normal! Unless they’re cheerful all the time already, in which case the cheer might start to reach… frightening levels.

March 29-31: Swarm!
Something’s approaching on the horizon… Oh god, it’s not more lions, is it? Wait, no… it’s big herds of cute, fluffy Mareeps, Flaafies, Ampharos, Skiddos, and Gogoats, marching back up north after the snow’s all melted! Whew! … Actually, wait, Gogoats can headbutt pretty hard, can’t they…}

April 7-13: ROCKET PROM
Oh boy, it’s the yearly prom! Dancing and music and good food and…wait a second. Uh oh. Looks like this Prom has taken a turn for the less fun…for more information, go here!

April 28: Freaky Friday!
What better time than April for a Rainy Day! The copious amounts of rain coming down have created a lot of puddles perfect for stomping in…or maybe not. Seems like the freaky effect of the day is that a lot of those puddles are surprisingly deep. They don’t look it from the surface, but jumping in even a little one might send you down right up to your neck!

_{May 5th: Freaky Friday!
April showers bring May flowers, and boy, did it ever! On May 5th, so many flowers have burst into such spectacular bloom that the air is filled with lovely cherry petals, wafting gently on a constant breeze. Characters may find themselves so distracted by how nice out it is that, oh no, they're late for school whatever the most important thing they were going to do today was! Better just stuff your slice of toast in your mouth and run to get there on time!! Relatedly, spontaneous nosebleeds, bouts of endearing clumsiness, and (at least in the cities and towns) lots of workers conveniently carrying around sparkly backdrop panels seem to be prevalent, too.

May 17th: SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT
Silph Co. has developed a very exciting new prototype, and it's being hailed as the next Porygon! Wow!

May 26-28: Fourth Wall!

_{June 10th: Swarm!
It's wet as the basement of the Slowpoke Well out there! All that rain means puddles aplenty, and as always, there's Magikarps splashing all over the place! Although... wait a minute... these Magikarps look a little... different.

June 14-21: Player-Submitted Plot!
Time's about to get very wibbly-wobbly-- rumors throughout the month about odd happenings and fleeting glimpses of a legendary Pokemon in the Ilex Forest are shaping up to be more than just rumors... could it have something to do with Azalea Town's festival honoring Celebi?}

_{July 4th: Swarm! … sort of!
On the evening of the fourth, strange but beautiful lights flicker in the sky. Those who remember the lights that shone when Nephilis was released from captivity at Tohjo Falls will recognize them as being one in the same! It seems the newly-freed Legendary is hard at work once again… this time, it’s nothing so obvious as lavish holiday gifts. Rather, people may just begin to notice migrations of Pokemon to places where they’d previously never been seen! Better keep an eye on those Availability Pages….

July 7th: Freaky Friday!
Man, it’s never felt harder to get out of bed… it’s like the blankets are just swallowing you up. …. WAIT A MINUTE. WHEN DID THE BED GET SO HUGE? Actually, it’s not the bed that got huge-- it’s you who got Minimized! As always with these freaky Fridays, everyone will be back to normal by tomorrow… but getting through normal everyday tasks might be difficult when you’re the size of a Flabebe.

July 14th: Freaky Friday!!
You know that sort of surreal feeling when you walk into class and there’s an unexpected substitute teacher? What if instead of a substitute teacher, it was just a Substitute doll sitting there on the teacher’s desk and staring at you blankly? Actually, what if you walked in, and the teacher was still there but the DESK was gone, with a Substitute doll sitting there instead, still staring at you blankly? On July 14th, trainers may start noticing a whole lot of these plushes around, mysteriously in spots where they left things the night before and now can’t find... and just when you really needed that Great Ball, too…!

July 21st: Freaky Friday!
Some days, it just seems like nothing will go right… even things you’re normally good at. Today, trainers might find themselves having trouble with tasks no matter how hard they try. The solution, as it usually is even on non-freaky days… is to pass the baton to a buddy and ask for their help. Don’t feel bad about it; just know that up at the Indigo Plateau, Bruno just spent a solid two hours trying to get the lid off of a pickle jar and wound up needing Will to do it for him. Friendship is magic.

July 28th: Freaky Friday!
The day couldn’t have started off sunnier-- the whole month’s been hot, but it’s baking out and trainers everywhere are doing whatever it could possibly take to keep cool. Swimming, playing with their Water-type Pokemon, laying face-down in the air-conditioned Pokemon Center lobby… Which would be fine, but for some reason, Electric-type Pokemon are acting strange and restless all day long! The reason for this becomes clear around 4 PM or so, when suddenly the wind picks up, the sky goes black, and the most intense thunderstorm either region’s seen in years comes roaring in (literally, in fact, we’re pretty sure we saw Raikou galloping around out there…). The gale-like winds and pouring rain are bad enough, but around 6PM, a massive power surge makes cities and towns everywhere go dark as their power gets blown out! Restoring it will take all weekend, with the more remote towns taking longer than the cities… thankfully for everyone who’s been working their AC to death, the rainstorm at least cooled things off a little...}

Walter Sullivan has decided to leave Team Rocket and is going out with a bang that's going to take out an entire lab building...releasing all the captive Pokemon within. For the subsequent week, there will be a limited swarm of Pokemon in Goldenrod, with details to be added.}

_{December 21: Solstice Festival!
In towns throughout the regions, Solstice celebrations will be held to mark the longest night of the year. Details to come!}

_{December 24-25: SWARM!
The snow has brought seasonal visitors: for these two days, Stantler, Snover, and the occasional Abomasnow will be swarming throughout the regions!}

Hey, it's about to be a new year, right? What better way to get into the spirit than for there to be glitter coating every single surface? Yeah, New Years might not be for a few days, but that's not coming out before then.}

_{February 9: Freaky Friday!
Have you ever caught your Pokemon digging a hole in the garden or lifting shiny trinkets from the Pokemon, only for it to turn those Baby Doll Eyes on you and gosh darnit, you can't be mad at them anymore? Ever had that happen with a person? Ever had that happen with the big, scary, really not that cute Blackbelt who you just caught smoking in a No Smoking zone? Today, even the gnarliest individual will have those moments that make everyone around them give them the benefit of the doubt, because gosh darnit, they never noticed how adorable you were before!}

_{February 14: Valentine's Day
Ahh, Valentine's Day. A nice holiday to buy chocolate for your special someone or your buddies. Some people (or in this case, Pokemon) get really into the spirit of things... in this case, an innocent tourist's not-so-innocent Decidueye, who figured out how to "curse" his ghostly arrows with Attract and is about to go hog-freaking-wild at a candy giveaway. More details to come!}

_{February 16: Freaky Friday!
Just when you thought the weirdness was over, two days after everybody was getting arrows in the back, it's another Friday. At first nothing seems out of the ordinary until you walk down to the Pokemart to get some chips, slip on a puddle of slime someone's Grimer left in the doorway, and your PokeGear goes flying out of your hand. DISASTER! ... Or not! You manage to catch it, one-handed, and right at that moment a really sick guitar riff plays on the radio. Everyone around you is Charmed. For the whole day, you will be smooth as heck.}

_{February 23: Starter Appreciation Day!
Time to think back to the one you started it all with! From grannies reminiscing about their beloved Lillipups back in the day, to families celebrating by giving their kid their very first Pokemon, it's time to show your starter Pokemon how much you love them. Lavish some extra attention on them today and tell the whole world how great they are!}

It's the first proper thunderstorm of the year, and you know what that means - Electabuzz are emerging from their homes to start climbing up the tallest buildings and trees they can find to try and snag a sweet, sweet lightning bolt to snack on. Be careful if you come across a gang of these in a high place, or you might get shocked, too!}

_{March 8th: Swarm!
While the weather hasn't swung into humid summer eves yet, Kricketune are making their songs heard in shocking abundance to match with their increased presence. Their songs are rather joyful, though - perhaps they are excited about the encroaching springtime and want to share that feeling with you!}

_{March 13th: Swarm?!
It's just plain rainy today, and the puddles stretch on for huge swaths of roads and routes...enough so that Tympole are rolling along in the mud and puddles, too! Be careful where you step, or you'll trigger a chorus of their high-pitched warning sounds, and that's going to blow your hearing out for sure.}

_{March 14: Player Plot - Eve's Garden Circus!
Come one, come all, to the greatest show in Johto! While the circus already performs once a month and the games are always open, this month will be a special, grand spectacle whether you've been before or not!}

_{March 28th: Swarm?!?
You thought they were done for the month. You thought, surely there won't be another ridiculous swarm of Pokemon, right? Well, the Pokemon feel differently - specifically Tropius! Lured by the creeping warmth coming into Johto and Kanto, they are flying in from warmer locales to bestow some much-needed tropical love on the newly-thawed population. If you're kind to them, the Tropius might even share their fruit with you!}

Something's gotten odd with metal objects today... authentic, organic flesh-and-blood trainers, no matter where they go, will find metal inexplicably attracted to them in a weird Magnetic Flux! Tin foil, old cans, those novelty magnets you bought on your last excursion... even Steel-types seem attached to your hip, as it were! Have fun with that Lairon who can't seem to get its snout away from your kneecap.}

_{July 13th: Freaky Friday! Makin' my way downtown, walkin' fast, really really fast, oh no, maybe too fast. The wind sure is blustery today! It's almost as if it's pushing you right down the road towards your next destination...and it is! For today, everyone seems to be moving at nearly double the usual walking speed in their travels. Maybe this Tailwind could be put to good use on those Scavenger Hunt quests, eh?}

_{July 20th: Freaky Friday! Hoo boy, but it's hot out today, isn't it? What would you give for getting a nice spray of cold water? Turns out that you don't need to give anything; at random, everyone will be Soaked through to the bone at least once by a sudden gush of water from somewhere-- a malfunctioning faucet, a busted fire hydrant, a Youngster with a SuperSoaker, maybe even one of your own faithful Water-types. But uh oh-- what'll this mean for the Team Rocket heist planned for today?! Hope all the Grunts remembered to bring water-wings. Stay tuned for more info!}

_{July 27th: Freaky Friday! Hmmmm... something strange is going on with your mouth today. Maybe when you idly click your teeth, it creates sparks. Others might attempt to enjoy a bowl of delicious soup, only to find it freeze into a nasty savory ice cube right there on the spoon. Better not chew on your pencil, either-- it might burst into flames! Today, apparently Pokemon aren't the only ones who can use Thunder/Ice/Fire Fang!}

_{August 17th-24th: Contest Spectacular! Break out your inner fashionistas-- it's time for another Contest Spectacular! After Kanto's first-ever Pokémon Contest was such a hit, the stage is being brought to Johto in hopes of inspiring even bigger, better performances! Get dolled up and dazzle some judges!}

_{September 6th: Scavenger Hunt end! Summer's drawn to a close, and sadly Nephelis' Scavenger Hunt has too! Everyone make sure you have your stickerbooks up to date and get ready for your efforts to be rewarded!}

If anyone’s been holding a Grudge against someone, no matter how serious or how petty, those affected by this Freaky Friday will feel compelled to give that person an earful about their grievances if they encounter them. Not only that, but people will find themselves forming new grudges over the absolute pettiest things. Someone took the last cookie? UNFORGIVABLE.}

_{October 12th: Freaky Friday! With increasing Halloween spirit in the air, it seems like Nasty Plots are afoot. Those affected will feel the need to approach absolutely every situation, from a Pokemart run to trainer battles, with the utmost elaborate, cartoon villain sneakiness as though they were about to participate in a bank heist. And get enough affected people together…that kind of plotting ought to have a full on montage sequence.}

_{October 13th: Swarm! Everyone loves the influx of Pumpkaboo Spice everything this time of year, right? No? Well, that's a shame, because today it seems more in force than ever before - and by that, we mean Pumpkaboo are asserting their presence in every corner of Johto and Kanto! That's not a decoration on someone's front porch, nor is that a stray gourd along the routes near some berry trees! From small to large, Pumpkaboo are here to enjoy themselves!}

_{October 19th: Freaky Friday! Something's definitely up with your shadow today. At first, it just seems like it's not quite in step with you as you walk along, but as the day goes on, its rebellious nature shines through a la Peter Pan, running off without you and causing trouble! Gengars with Shadow Sneak seem to be getting in the spooky spirit, and your shadows are the perfect place to hide! Might want to flush the troublemaker out if you want to keep your shadow in check...}

_{October 26th: Freaky Friday! Maybe you don't realize it until you sleepily reach for a coffee mug, only to find that your hand passes right through. Maybe you yell and gesture for a Nurse Joy to notice you at the Pokemon Center and it still doesn't register. Either way, no matter where you are, it seems you've become a ghost for the day! How will you use this newfound state of being? Will you walk through walls? Disappear? Fly? Cause trouble or help others unseen, by yourself or with the aid of your fellow ghosts? One thing's for sure: it's hard to tell which this is, Trick or Treat...}

_{October 31st: Mischief Night! Last year the ghost-types took over the joint... well THIS year, it's the Dark-type's turn to "shine"! Trained and wild Dark-types alike are about to get really into the spirit of things... whether their trainers like it or not! More details to come!}

November 2018

_{November 9th: Freaky Friday! November usually heralds an entire weekend where memories get fuzzy, but it seems like the Amnesia is going around early. Characters might forget any number of things throughout the day, anything from who their best friend is to how to tie their own shoelaces. But luckily, when midnight rolls around they'll remember everything.}

_{November 23rd-25th: Fourth Wall event! There's a few things that are certain as winter begins nipping at Johto and Kanto's heels: temperatures drop, days get shorter...and for three days everything goes haywire and the Kool-Aid Man might break into your hotel room.}

December 2018

_{December 21st: Solstice Festival! On the longest night of the year, towns across the regions will be holding parties and celebrations to light up the night! And some Delibird seem to have gotten into the spirit, looking to collect surprise gifts ahead of Christmas… details to come!}

_{December 25th: IC Secret Santa! Merry Christmas everyone, it’s time for those Delibird to deliver the gifts they demanded received!}

_{December 26th: SWARM! And actually, there were a lot of Delibird, and a lot of them seem to have stuck around and may well come home with you!}
