JUNE 2024

Event Info
June 1st - Swarm
After two months spent in Paldea, it's finally time to return home. It has been fun, but it will be equally good to see your home again. You can barely wait to unpack your things, get into a familiar shower, sleep in your own bed. You open the door to your home, ready for all those things, only to find a swarm of strange bird... creatures have taken over the place in your absence! When they see you, they might just try and scatter like dust bunnies (too bad they are very clumsy) or try and defend their new homes. Sigh. All you wanted was a relaxing homecoming...

June 15th - Swarm
Today, you'll want to be wary of any body of water deeper than a foot. Even if it is just the old pond in the backyard or your rain barrel, you might find that some very grumpy customers have made their way inside.

June 21st - Glowing with Pride

While out and about today, your character might just be treated to a very unusual sight -- a large bird pokemon slowly flying along the sky, rainbows following in its wake. Seeing it fills you with a feeling of awe

And, just maybe, a feeling to share something you've been keeping quiet on. Whether it is due to embarrasment or nerves, we all have those little things we'd rather not be open about. But perhaps, we should be! And perhaps today is the day to find someone and share those things with. It'll make you feel better, embracing every aspect of yourself. And if you do, regardless of how your message was received, the day after, you'll find a beautiful, multi-coloured feather on your pillow. A gift from Ho-oh! It has no special power, but nevertheless, it lets you know that Ho-oh is proud of you.

Weather Info
June 1st - June 9th

Isn't it practically traditional to come back from a holiday and face bad weather? In any case, this first week of June is particularly rainy. It isn't cold (it's June, after all), but the temperature is a bit lower than it should be for the time of year and the showers are frequent. Of course, that is not without its disadvantages -- water and grass pokemon seem to enjoy the frequent rains, and can often be found about after a shower (or even during) soaking up the fresh water. It might make for a perfect time to catch them!

June 10th - June 16th

With the rains out of here, summer really seems to hit all at once. The temperatures are up, the sun is shining and everywhere you can hear nincada chirping in the trees. Deerling and Sawsbuck are shedding their spring apparel for summertime bling and bug pokemon seem particularly abundant at this time of year.

June 17th - June 23rd

Temperatures continue to rise and the sun continues to shine. If you are a fan of outdoor battling, makes sure to take the harsh sunlight into account as it might just affect the way certain moves work. And if you are a fan of outdoor battling, be sure to apply plenty of sun screen!! The last thing you want is to end up with a burn. Trust us, eating a Rawst berry does not actually work for humans.

June 24th - June 30th

This week, the temperatures go down just a bit as winds roll in from the north. Hoppip and Flabebe can be seen riding the breeze, drifting from place to place. Over on the beaches near Fuchsia, the surfing Pikachu that have been arriving over the last few weeks are finally out in full force, though strangely, some can be seen surfing Slowpoke around?! Those aren't even supposed to be around here. Did they ride them all the way over from the Sevii Islands?
