The Snorunts have been unusually late this year… and when they do start making their way into towns, something seems to be wrong! It sounds like the Nurse Joys are organizing something to help, perhaps you should check in with them?
January 17th-20th - Swarm: Dark and Goomy Night
As if dealing with all the sick Ice Pokemon weren’t enough, there’s a swarm of Goomy this weekend! Every corner you turn you will find one glooping along over the snow - and any time there’s a few in one place, they start Rain Dancing!
January 27th-31st - Swarm: Here They Come!!
With the Snorunts recovered, they are now, as usual, absolutely everywhere. But this year you’re very likely to run into a Glalie or Froslass as well!
Weather Info
January 1st - January 7th
The entire first week of the new year is bright and sunny, with only occasional clouds. It’s cold enough that the snow from last week remains, though it becomes crunchier and icier as it melts and refreezes.
January 8th - January 11th
Snow once again starts falling, at a deceptively slow rate - it’s hard to call it a storm, but it simply doesn’t stop. Hope you’re ready for lots of shoveling! If you’re going out on a Route, you may want snowshoes…
January 12th - January 18th
The sky is grey and cloudy through all this week, though blessedly free of more snowfall. Towns and cities have started to run out of places to put the piles! It is, however, gusty, sending sprays of fluffy snow into people’s faces constantly.
January 19th - January 26th
This week warms up enough that it begins with two days of rain. After the rain, it alternates between sunny and cloudy, giving heaping snow piles a chance to melt.
January 27th - January 31st
The last week of January has - you guessed it - more snow! This time the weather patterns seem almost mischievous: just when you step outside all bundled up, the clouds skid away and reveal the sun, making you just a touch too warm. Go inside and pull off a layer or two? Snow is gently drifting down by the time you’re back out, and a nippy breeze is blowing.
