Having some space in the woods near the routes/New Bark Town would be fine, particularly with a maze-like course (our main concern was that neither New Bark Town nor Route 29 are especially large!)

Residents of New Bark Town will watch curiously as the new building is constructed in town, and as things start getting set up in the woods nearby. Some are less happy than others about a gym being built in their sleepy little home, but most warm up as they realize the second purpose of the Petal Gym. A few people come by asking about signing up for a class ahead of time - mostly parents wanting to get classes for their soon-to-journey children, but a handful of adults and teenagers as well!
On opening day, Mom stops by with well-wishes and drops off a giant basket of cookies. While the degree to which she still thinks Emporio is her child is... unclear... she definitely remembers his starter: among cookies decorated to look like camping supplies and the gym's badge, there are also some cute little Dratini cookies!
