baby Grunt's first "heist"

Scorpia, Speedwagon
  • CURRENT RANK: both Grunts
  • REQUESTED REWARD: Scorpia's reward request is less a request and more a slightly rambly report on all the benefits of fresh MooMoo milk for humans and Pokemon both, and wouldn't it be a great improvement of both morale and health of Team Rocket if they could have access to free, fresh MooMoo milk at any time? (OOCly: it'd be great if Scorpia could end up with something cool if she succeeds. An HA or Shiny Pokemon? A reusable TM? A recipe for decadent caramel creams made from MooMoo milk? Some cash? Whatever the admins would deem appropriate.)

Speedwagon's reward request is just a good riding Pokemon.

  • JUSTIFY THE REWARD:
OOCly, this idea was born from the fact that cows really, really like music, and will congregate and follow it, and also milk cows produce more milk with music! What if (cow) Pokemon do too? Since Scorpia is in canon an awesome singer...

So! Scorpia ended up at MooMoo farms after the fourth wall, and for about a week or two had a pretty good time working as a farm-hand and singing for her supper. Or, at least singing for the Pokemon who really seemed to enjoy it! She kept looking at the baby Pokemon for sale, and how little money she had, and how much benefit having a food making Pokemon could be! And, well, she's supposed to steal stuff, even if she doesn't like the idea particularly much...oh, but what if she just left and the Pokemon liked her so much that they followed her out?!

Thus her "heist" was born. The plan is pretty simple. Scorpia spends a couple days singing about adventures, and when nobody else is around, talking with the farm Pokemon about how she's going to have some adventures with her friends. She's focused on the Miltanks, but if other farm Pokemon want to come, well, people ride them so maybe Rocket could use them too?

On the day Scorpia plans to leave, she accidentally-on-purpose breaks the latch to a paddock/pasture gate, and when everybody else at the farm is having a break and/or are elsewhere, announces that she's heading on to Ecruteak to meet her friends, after saying (and singing) goodbye to all her friends at the farm! (and she does say goodbye to the farmhands briefly, before singing to the Pokemon a while. Nothing unusual for Scorpia)

And while she's walking on down the road, singing a happy song, as one does, any of the Farm Pokemon who want to follow her (or want to wander off on their own, really) can just waltz right out of that broken gate!

She also talked to a couple other Rockets while her idea was brewing, and Speedwagon agreed to be waiting on the road between the Farm and Ecruteak on the day Scorpia planned to leave, so he could put a few of the Pokemon (the cutest best ones, of course) in balls and sneak off with the loot.

Scorpia isn't expecting to get away with Pokemon trying to follow her home, see. And she's ready for that! When the farmhands discover the gate and start looking, they'll surely head down the road first, and her speedy Boltund is going to be lagging behind Scorpia, ready to start barking and racing in circles, and leading them right to Scorpia (who's been alerted by the barks) trying to round up the Pokemon to bring them back. Gosh! Oh gee, she didn't know they liked her singing that much! This is so embarrassing, oh no. Let her help round them up and get them back to the farm! She'll even volunteer to look for any that are missing (and find the ones that wandered off on their own)!

And if by chance, nobody does come after her and discover her pied piper'd Pokemon parade, well, Rocket gets a few more than she thought they would! They all chose to run away with her, after all.

Scorpia will turn in whatever they get, even if it's only one, because at least one fourth of her reason for doing it is to get her Rocket teammates access to that sweet, fresh milk!
