Hisuian Locations

Campsite

Located in the grassy juncture of waterways beside an abandoned Bibarel dam, near the Heartwood of the Obsidian Fieldlands (which is a fancy way of saying "the Ginkgo Guild put one of their wagons up by some running water.")

For more information on the camp, as well as the mission board and the Gingko Guild shop, please go here

Obsidian Fieldlands

Rivers running through rolling plains of lush green grasses on a terrain broken up by hills and mountains. For the most part, this is a very peaceful place, though it gets a little more perilous as one heads into the denser forests, where Scyther can be found.

Normal, Bug, Fire, Psychic, and Grass types are plentiful, with Water types like Shellos and Buizel located around the rivers.

Night brings out Zubat, and occasionally Drifloon.

Try not to get smashed into the dirt by the Alpha Rapidash near Jubilife Village, or the Alpha Parasect in the lowlands. Out by the Sandgem Flats resides an obscenely powerful Alpha Alakazam. Definitely don't get caught by that one, either.

Oh, right. Jubilife Village is located here, although the Ginkgo Guild advises Trainers that they are absolutely not welcome and to give wide berth to both the guards and walls. They do, however, have the leaders' word that they'll be informed immediately if there's any sign of Cara Liss' parts.

Crimson Mirelands

A vast marsh named for the red, clay-rich mud of the bogs at its centre. Gold-hued marsh plants form flat prairies around shallow wetlands. On the outer edges, the earth begins to form mounds that become hills, and eventually mountain ridges. Ground, Bug, Poison, and Grass types are plentiful. Watch out especially for Carnivine, Parasect, Hippowdon, Stunky, Yanma, and Onix.

Murkrow, Gastly, and Zubat, and Golbat are common Nighttime hazards.

Strange ruins can be found here as well, attracting Ghosts and Psychic types. Trainers investigating the area will recognise glyphs resembling Unown.

Near Lake Valor is a Diamond Clan settlement. The Ginkgo Guild advises Trainers that while they're not unfriendly, the Diamond Clan has already stated they have not seen the missing parts and would prefer not to have 'offworld' visitors. For diplomacy's sake, it's best to leave that area alone.

Cobalt Coastlands

A large gulf on the Eastern edge of Hisui. Rocky outcroppings hide secret coves and seaside caves; the northern peninsula rises above the sea to end in a steep cliff's drop, while at night, a wrecked ship on the Southern peninsula attracts Ghosts. To the Northeast, a volcano rises out of the sea. The Ginkgo Guild will assist Trainers with transport if their Pokemon are strong enough. (Two Pokemon of level 30 or one of level 40.)

Unsurprisingly, Water type Pokemon abound here, while the Volcano is inhabited solely by Rock and Fire types. In fact, that's the only place one can find Magmar and Magby... just watch out for that Alpha Ninetails.

At Night, Drifloon appear over the water, while Duskull and Dusclops appear around the wrecked ship. Chatot like to gather there during the day.

Coronet Highlands

A steep and rocky mountain with a strong electromagnetic field. Ruins of ancient temples and an aged, crumbling graveyard dot its slopes. At the base of the mountain, hidden along the river, is a forested glade where Clefairy (and an Alpha Clefable) gather at night.

Rock, Steel, Electric, and Ground types are especially common, but this mountain sports a bit of everything, even Dragons! Look out for Ghosts at night... but you should be used to that by now!

Pokémon: [lvls 35-45]

Alabaster Icelands

A vast tundra ringed by snow-capped peaks of sheer rock, with cave systems through the mountains and even under the ice. There's a natural hot spring, fields of frosty grass and frozen trees, and a massive waterfall connected to Lake Acuity. There's also a Pearl Clan settlement--but they're not accepting visitors right now.

Ice types abound, unsurprisingly. Normal, Ground, Steel, and Fighting types are also common. Maybe the latter are drawn here for training? At night, of course, Ghosts come out. Including the frightening Froslass, infamous for leading travellers astray in the cold... and, of course, Hisuian Zoroark! (Worse, Zoroark doesn't care what time it is...)

Beware, because the Pokemon here are stronger (and more dangerous) than anywhere else. There's a reason the Ginkgo Guild originally wanted to keep you away from this place!
