A small reminder of the rules

Initially, all comments on this post will be screened. Once a round has been completed, we will unscreen the strategy comments. Because the matches are not all happening at the same time, it is certainly possible for your character to watch other fights as they go down. As such, in later rounds, you are allowed to use information learned from earlier rounds i.e. if it is apparent in Round 1, that someone's pokemon has a certain ability, you may use that to build your strategy in a later round.
Hoping Riku waits til noon because I took so long writing this....
One he's saved for this final round, just in case he needs it.
What is that strategy, you might ask?
You will regret asking that. Because the answer. Is rapping.
Long story short, Dirk will keep a steady flow (actual rap term) of... well, flow, using a combination of dope rhymes, natural sense of rhythm, and a superlative recollection of old Earth's media and Wikipedia articles to keep his verses fresh and his lyrics tight. His peerless vocabulary and... okay, no one cares. He's hiding his commands in some really wordy rap. It's not clear if the rap is actually good or just really complicated, but it's certainly rap.
Despite the fact that Porygon2 and Aegislash are the same speed (regardless of stance), Dirk will bank on Aegislash leading with Substitute or perhaps something like Swords Dance and set up Trick Room immediately. Of course, it's possible that Riku uses the first turn to switch. This still lets Dirk set up Trick Room, but what happens next will depend on what Riku did on the first turn. (Dirk knows Riku's everything has fucking Toxic, but that's a risk he's willing to take. Because when you swap out constantly, Toxic's damage ticks aren't as devastating.)
If Riku leaves Aegislash in.... Yolkai vs Aegislash: Dirk will hope the plan is to slam PGP with Sacred Sword or Rock Slide or something and swap to Yolkai. Slower (and therefore faster) than Aegislash, if Aegislash used the first or second turn to buff itself (Swords Dance, Iron Defence, etc), he'll have Yolkai use Power Swap. If not, and Substitute is up, he's going to actually take a risk and have Yolkai use Giga Drain to destroy the Substitute and get some of Yolkai's health back.) With any luck, this will open Aegislash up to Power Swap or Flamethrower. Or it might actually just be time for Trick Room again. Yolkai has that, at least.
If, however, Aegislash (SPECIFICALLY Aegislash) used Rain Dance against Yolkai to depower Flamethrower, Dirk will have Yolkai use Teleport, with the intention of sending out Arctovish, and then using Whirlpool. Whether Riku switches his Pokemon or not, the new Pokemon will be trapped by Whirlpool. (If Riku has Aegislash use Protect or King's Shield, Dirk will just have Arctovish use Whirlpool again.... lmao.) The purpose of this, amongst other things, is to avoid wasting Fishious Rend on, say, a swapped-in Hydreigon or Greninja. This also wastes turns of Rain Dance, if we're being honest.
If Riku doesn't swap out Aegislash, then... yeah, it's time for Fishious Rend. The thing is, even if Aegislash is using moves like Protect or King's Shield, it has to do something else EVENTUALLY. Toxic? You get hit with Fishious Rend. Stat boosts? You get hit with Fishious Rend. Trick Room ran out? Crunch. Eventually Riku's either going to lose his sword or have to swap it out, losing any stat gains he's made. When that happens... well, that will be covered further down in phase 2.
For now:
If Riku swapped out Aegislash, then Dirk's next turn with Arctovish will be Super Fang.
If Riku swapped in Greninja!
- If Greninja used Protect, Arctovish uses Super Fang again.
- If Greninja used Dig or Bounce, Arctovish has the lead on Protect for the next turn.
- If Greninja used Shadow Sneak (changing Greninja's type to Ghost and causing Super Fang to miss), Dirk is going to get real fucking ballsy and use Hail. Even if Greninja uses Taunt next turn, the Rain is gone and Dirk can nail Greninja with a STAB Blizzard. (He will actually do this AS SOON AS Greninja uses Shadow Sneak, assuming he hasn't Taunted first.) But if he hasn't, Dirk is going to first set up Aurora Veil.
- If Greninja used Taunt before he's used Shadow Sneak... then Greninja probably takes that Super Fang to the face. Dirk will follow up with Crunch, because Riku knows a lot of Arctovish's movepool is based on the advantage of going first, and he's hoping Riku will follow that Taunt with Shadow Sneak. At which point he won't be able to set up Hail, but he will hopefully have dished out a decent quantity of pain.
Yolkai vs Greninja
- If Riku swapped in Greninja, and one of the above occurred but Hail is not up, Dirk will then recall Heraclitus and send Yolkai out. Two reasons: one, Yolkai can set up Trick Room when it's needed. And two, Yolkai has much more range in Typing. Ideally by now, Greninja will have taken some damage, even if it's just from Whirlpool.
- If Yolkai goes first due to Trick Room, she will use Power Swap, switching her Frisk for Greninja's Protean.
- In the interest of this not being the LONGEST FUCKING SECTION, Dirk will then have Yolkai use the strongest type-advantageous move available on Riku's (hopefully still trapped) Greninja. In the absence of a type advantage, Power Whip will do, or Iron Head if Greninja is Flying or something similar.
- If she isn't going first, uh. Let's just predict Taunt and use Explosion on the glass cannon, shall we?
If Riku swaps in Hydreigon....
Well that sucks for Hydreigon? Why would you do that. Arctovish uses Super Fang and follows with Icicle Crash. Dirk knows that fucker has electric moves and he's not fucking around about that. Taunt is meaningless when you're all-offensive.
PHASE 2
If Toxic is up, whoever Dirk has out atm is getting swapped. This is also true if he has Heraclitus out, because. Heraclitus can't set up Trick Room.
Assuming PGP isn't out, he'll swap back to PGP.
PGP vs Greninja
Dirk hates this, actually. He's going to assume Riku wants to prevent any setup, so he'll lead not with Trick Room but with Signal Beam, expecting Protean to turn Greninja Dark type with Taunt. Plus, bonus chance of Confusion. Then, if Taunt isn't up, Trick Room, or he's going to fucking die. He's hoping that Riku chooses to go for the Low Kick option after that, because a STAB, super effective Low Kick will HURT, but not enough to KO PGP (who was swapped out pretty fast), and with the speeds switched, he'll be able to use Recover next turn, before any Taunting. After that, he has the freedom to use Protean against Greninja, with a lot of type-advantageous moves, like Psybeam, which he'll make sure to use at least one of before swapping (because... Toxic.)
PGP versus Hydreigon
Man. Fuck this guy. The only good thing Dirk can say about it is that it doesn't have Aura Sphere. It has Taunt, and Dirk assumes (again) that this is plan A, so he'll lead with Ice Beam. If he's been Taunted, he'll then recall PGP for Yolkai. Manually, obviously. If he HASN'T been Taunted, then yeah he'll use Trick Room next. Might as well go out with a speed boost?
PGP vs Aegislash
This guy is still here?! If PGP went first at the beginning of all this, then hell yes Dirk is going to lead with Trick Room. If it did NOT, he will assume this is going to be Taunt, and use Shadow Ball.
Yolkai versus Hydreigon
If Hydreigon has been damaged by literally anything, Dirk is just going to Dragon Hammer the shit out of it, because he's afraid it will lead with Taunt and the alternative (getting, like, Draco Meteor'd out of existence) will happen regardless of what he does if Hydreigon goes first. So he might as well fucking deal. Alternatively, and this is dependent on math I am too tired for, if Explosion does more damage than a STAB super-effective Dragon Hammer, then he'll have her use Explosion.
UNLESS. Trick Room isn't up AND Riku still has three Pokemon (aka none of Riku's have Fainted.) Then he'll have her use Dragon Tail, because she'll be going second ANYWAY, Dragon Tail will be STAB + Super-effective, and he'll get a better matchup this way.
Yolkai versus Greninja
Ugh. Well. Why are we here again. See previous section featuring these two, honestly.
Yolkai versus Aegislash
You again! This could be great, though, because he can actually attempt Trick Room. At this point, presumably Aegislash has taken some hits. So. If Taunt isn't up, Worry Seed. Giga Drain to try and heal, Stomping Tantrum if it gets blocked with Protect or something. If Taunt is up then this sucks and it's very grindy and if at all possible, Dirk will recall Yolkai for PGP. If PGP is down, Arctovish.
Heraclitus versus Aegislash
If: Trick Room. Then: Fishious Rend. If: no Trick Room. Then: Crunch.
Heraclitus versus Hydreigon
Whirlpool. Then, Hail, if not taunted. If he is Taunted, and Hydreigon has more than half health (say, due to Rest?), then Super Fang. If Hail, then Blizzard. He doesn't want to let stalling or evasion become a Thing. Without Hail, Icicle Crash will have to do.
Heraclitus versus Greninja
Dirk's least favourite matchup, tbqh. If he can, he'll swap Heraclitus for Yolkai, again hoping to take a hit that's less... uh. Effective on Yolkai. Then see: Yolkai vs Greninja. If he's already done that swap before, though, he'll swap to PGP if possible. Just to avoid being predictable. If ever Porygon2 can't set up Trick Room, or go first, he'll use Psybeam to try and predict a Fighting move, and follow up with Tri Attack. Whether or not he's using Recover will depend on how Taunted he is.
Overall, he knows Riku is going to want to stall, and he's a fucking fool who didn't prepare solutions to status, so his plan is to hit hard and swap often, reducing how much damage Toxic does per tick. Swapping out every 2-3 turns is the best he's got.
