We ask that potential applicants post their application in comments rather than linking. If their application contains explicit references to 'hard' spoilers (character death, unforeseen plot twists, big reveals, he was evil all along etc), players should put the application in their own journal or their character's journal and link it, making sure to mention the presence of spoilers within. For further clarification on our spoilers policy and whether or not your application needs to be linked, please check this page. Thank you for your cooperation!
The comment character limit on Dreamwidth is 16,000 characters so apps no longer need to be split into multiple comments; however this is at players' discretion.
While players are welcome to play multiple characters (five characters maximum are allowed per player!), please only apply for one character at a time, and wait for a decision before submitting another application!
A reminder for those waiting to hear back: Please don't be worried if we skip yours while going through them. It only means we needed a little more time to research!
Please use the form below to apply! If you have any questions, feel free to ask any of the mods.

Personality: Perhaps the most obvious, first striking part of Lydia is the fact that she is always in fashion model mode. Bright lights, bright colors, striking outfits, speaking in the most haughty of manners along with just pure unadulturated class. It's most a lie, to put others off guard and distract from the reality of her personality.
That being she's an absolutely sadistic monster. Losing your sight, a cherished memory, your age, your beauty? All of it is eaten up with a child-like glee and a giggling tone as if it's nothing more than some sort of toy or entertainment. As long as it's not her then it's absolutely acceptable, particularly if it's damage and suffering she's inflicting onto whatever victim happens to come across her while in one of those moods. Suffering and sorrow are her major pushing forces and it all culminates in her taking delighted glee in it while not seeming to find any sort of second thoughts about any of it. If it works, if it fuels her, if it amuses her, then she'll absolutely be on board with whatever it is.
A direct result and comparison of her amusement of toying with others coupled with her need and love of suffering and sorrow can be found in one simple thing: Wheel of Sacrifice. Something akin to a raffle wheel that may as well be the star of the show of Wonderland. Something as happy and exciting as winning prizes twisted around into a dreaded game of loss and sacrifice. Every single thing that is seen on that wheel can be taken in multiple different manners simply due to each slice represented by an icon versus word, meaning the siblings can easily manipulate the result around to whatever they want at the time. Land on a picture of a hand? Oh, you could just lose some dexterity or you could just lose your entire hand instead. Don't like it? Well, have fun spinning that wheel a second time for what is probably going to be a worse result.
Not that everything is doom and gloom with her, she tends to play with her toys in the most irritating of manners. Simply by acting as if she's a game show host, having the charisma and tone to back it up even without an actual audience. Everything is a game, everything is for her entertainment whether or not others want to participate. It's more of a natural charisma and air about her that she twists and manipulates for her own purposes, because why not manipulate unwilling victims for your own precious entertainment?
Of course she's not a sadistic, manipulative, terrible person to everyone that was or is in her life. Family is always the exception to the rule. In fact, it's part of the reason why she is like she is. One doesn't just become a lich for no reason, after all, there has to be some catalyst for it. In Lydia's case it had to do with the love of her other brother, Keats. Not wanting to see her youngest brother die due to a disease, she turned her attention towards necromancy, a mostly frowned upon art, to try and save and heal him along with her other brother. This predictably fails but propels Lydia and her brother, Edward, into realizing their actual love of necromancy and pushing them to become liches, undead monsters, in order to make them more powerful. As it is with liches, they had to feed on strong emotions to keep their sanity and for a time she survived on the love of her youngest brother, until she discovered suffering was much stronger which began her descent into the sadistic creature she is now.
Pokémon Information Affiliation: Team Rocket Starter: Zorua - The reasoning here is that Lydia's whole shtick is illusion based, including Wonderland itself being all an illusion. Her whole lich life has revolved around looking as classy and beautiful as possible while in reality is just a sentient skeleton using illusion magic to not look like that. Also it would remind her of her twin brother.
