Starter Pokémon! A compiled list of the starter Pokémon to choose from offered in Victory Road!
Personality: Bruno Bucciarati is a man who's been dying a slow death since the age of twelve--not literally, of course, but it's only from early in the part that he begins to feel alive again, thanks to meeting Giorno.
See, Bucciarati's been a part of the Passione mafia family since the tender age of twelve, which can lead one to make... particular assumptions about him. While he comes off as affable when he first meets a stranger (he makes idle chit-chat with Giorno upon first meeting him, doing the same with two airport security guards later), Bucciarati is a serious and ruthless man. You don't really see him entertaining the antics of the younger members of his group, whereas even grouchy Abbacchio might humor them from time to time. His smiles are few and far between. He takes his duties incredibly seriously, going above and beyond in his duty of protecting Trish. He's often quite pragmatic, especially in fights, and he will do whatever it takes to win--whether that's ambushes and sneak attacks, or riskier maneuvers when his subordinates' lives are on the line. Seriously, though, look no further than his fight against Pesci when it comes to drastic measures--if it weren't for a pinch of luck, his role in the story very well could've ended there!
(Also, like, just, in general? He's kind of an oddball. You're not part of the mafia from the age of twelve and grow up perfectly socialized.)
Despite the ruthlessness, however, Bucciarati at his core is a kind and compassionate man, who cares greatly about his community, his subordinates, and those otherwise close to him. It's made clear early on that he's well-liked by the people in Naples that know him and he's on very good terms with them; he'll often accept their requests for help. This kindness was present even when he was young, when his parents divorced when he was seven. He knew his mother would be fine living in the city on her own, so he opted to stay with his father, who would almost certainly be lonely by himself. His kindness and compassion extends to even things like paying for an eye surgery for Narancia (and only getting upset when the boy expressed a desire to join Passione), or taking in those with legitimately nowhere else to turn--seriously, look at the rest of his team, look at how many of them have gotten screwed over by society, by family, or otherwise by people they should've been able to trust. And because Bucciarati has taken them in, given them a place to belong, and treated them with care, they are (mostly) utterly loyal to him in return.
There are certain values that Bucciarati holds especially close to his heart--selflessness in pursuit of a just cause, protecting the innocent and helpless, strong resolve, and perhaps most significantly, the bonds and loyalty between family. The last one is especially significant, considering how it drives the back half of the plot. Bucciarati himself first committed murder at the age of twelve (shortly before his joining Passione) in order to protect his father. The idea that Diavolo wanted Trish brought to him, not to meet and protect her, but in order to murder her as part of his quest to wipe out anything that could be traced to him or his past? This absolutely enrages Bucciarati, who flips the heck out and says "screw it" to any slower path to overthrowing the boss, attempting to kill Diavolo right then and there.
Needless to say, this bites him in the ass. (But he does rescue Trish? So there's that.)
Also worth noting is Bucciarati's willpower and determination. It's worth mentioning again that he joined Passione at an alarmingly young age, and it's easy to assume that by now anything resembling the ideals and values he may have had would have been stomped out of him, or left by the wayside. And yet... it hasn't. He still cares about doing the right thing where he can, he still believes in things like honor and justice and loyalty. It would be so easy for him to succumb to cynicism, but he hasn't. Bruno Bucciarati has clung to his moral compass with both hands and feet despite his circumstances. He has no illusions about what kind of life this is (which is almost certainly why he tried to discourage Narancia), but still he persists with his values. But more than that... Bucciarati knows for a fact exactly how far willpower can take you, when you need it to. He spends a considerable part of the plot honest to god hanging onto his life by way of sheer willpower. No matter what happens, Bucciarati keeps going, regardless of what happens to him, until he legitimately cannot continue any longer--when his body is literally falling apart on him.
It's also worth reiterating that he takes his responsibilities as leader incredibly seriously. He sees any job given to his team to the end. He looks out for his subordinates, being stern but fair. This would be why he's all the fiercer when it's their lives on the line. If there's something he can do about their survival, he will--it's part of his duty. Sadly, being the leader also means having to make the tough calls, the ones that can make him seem cold or heartless to others, like having to leave Abbacchio's body behind when there's a very real chance that the entire team's in danger. It's clearly a decision he doesn't like making, and he tries very hard to keep it together in front of the others. Such are the chains of commanding, unfortunately.
Pokémon Information Affiliation: Trainer Starter: Slowpoke Password: Atomic Fireball
Victory Road Sample: As soon as Bucciarati's picked up his Slowpoke and moved out of the middle of the road, he supposes he ought to at least take a look around New Bark Town before he sets out.
It's not long before he's flagged down, though. There's an elderly woman sitting on her stoop, with what looks like pink-and-cream-colored kittens, who's waving him over. A conversation over tea later, he finds himself with one of these kittens--a Skitty, it's called--with a promise to stop by again and tell the woman all about the Skitty's adventures on the road. He didn't get the pleasure of naming the little cutie, but that's okay.
"Buttons" is a cute name anyway, he thinks.
So with Teodoro the Slowpoke in his ball, and Buttons herself in Bucciarati's arms, he's back to wandering New Bark Town.
"This will be your first time seeing all of this for yourself too, won't it?" He strokes the Skitty's head, getting an enthusiastic 'myaa!' in return. He can't help the tiny smile that briefly crosses his face. "The three of us should have no problem getting to the next town... though, I'm not sure how long that'll take." It's to nobody in particular as he walks along. "Maybe a break soon wouldn't be remiss... we can take that time to plan our first leg of the trip."
He's basically talking to himself, yes, but he doesn't really... have anyone else to talk to. It's kind of lonely, he's finding, and he's not particularly sure he likes it. Though... it's not a priority at the moment, thinking on it. He has a trip to prepare for, first things first. Having taken stock of everything he'd been provided in his bag, he is not nearly as prepared as he'd prefer to be. Clothes, whatever, though he'd rather have more undergarments than what he was provided. Food, though... Food's something he's going to have to get more of before he sets out.
... Bucciarati's pulled away from his train of thought, however, by the sound of his stomach growling. It's an odd sensation after having gone so long without it happening. Ah... well. Trip planning can wait a little while, he thinks. At least until he's not doing his planning on an empty stomach--not to mention, he should probably see to Teodoro and Buttons being fed as well.

Character Name: Hunk Series: Voltron : The Legendary Defender Timeline: Main (Post-end of series) Canon Resource Links:World Info Personal History
Personality: Hunk is a large, heavy-set boy who tends to act very casually much of the time. His posture suits his mood, standing upright or slouching depending on his level of enthusiasm. His civilian clothes are also just as casual, a little rumpled but fit him comfortably. He makes no effort to sound formal though he has no pronounced accent of any sort, enjoys telling dumb jokes and often makes obvious (rarely overly mean) commentary on the people and things around them or the situations he and his friends find themselves in. He's pretty satisfied in himself, not worried about how fit he is, but if he's strong and fast enough to defend his people.
He's not exactly a slob, but he's not perfect either. He cleans everything to the extent of a relatively polite boy who likes a clean kitchen but also is still a teenager who wants to occasionally shirk chores. He was in the Galaxy Garrison, a military academy, and military academies are known for expecting a certain level of cleanliness to their barracks. So he is capable of taking care of himself and his environment, he's just not regimental about it.
He enjoys science. He and Pidge bond frequently over her knack for invention and his engineering ability. Together they're capable of inventing new technology and adapting to science that was beyond anything they'd encountered on Earth. He enjoys math and engineering almost as much as he does cooking. Almost.
Hunk inherited his passion for cooking from his mother. He's Samoan/African American and has a close, healthy relationship with his family. He uses this to be supportive, the strength his family has given him geared to supporting others in need. He's lived for a while in space as a paladin of Voltron. While he started as more cowardly and timid, even fighting off constant bouts of motion sickness, he developed a sterner stomach not just for piloting but for combat. Hunk has noble intentions and strong feelings about liberating enslaved worlds, but also the smaller scale desire to just make his friends happy and keep morale up.
Hunk's team and his family are the source of his optimism and drive. He wants to make the universe a better place for them and for people like them. He's capable of incredible empathy and encourages it in others. He's sometimes a little dense, like not fully understanding how to talk to Kieth when he discovered he was part Galra (repeatedly commenting 'now that you're Galra' rather than absorbing that he had always been one and hadn't actually changed other than what he knew). Or he joked to Pidge about her "girlfriend" after seeing a picture of her and her brother (and thinking she was her brother in the image). But he will apologize for mistakes if called out, point out credit where credit is due, is always eager to share the love or get in on a good hug.
But he's also incredibly astute in other situations. The suspicions he develops are based on reasonable logical observations and is good about not letting his emotions cloud his judgment. His hope for allies against the Galra didn't keep him from seeing through a trap laid by lying bounty hunters. His hope for reaching home didn't keep him from seeing a monster trying to lure in the team with an image of Earth. He's got an excellent grip on reality.
Those he dislikes are obviously dishonest or suspicious people. He can forgive, especially if people back up their words with actions. Usually he'll back his leader's decisions, and won't let his own biases affect his performance. He's definitely a follower, but will only follow someone he definitely believes in.
Hunk just is a good boy that wants to help his family, his team, and the universe. He wants people to be free to live their lives, and on a large scale he'll fight the forces of evil with fists and science and on a small scale will relish the smiles people get over a wonderfully prepared shared meal. The yellow lion always was meant to bond with someone whose heart was set on support, and that's Hunk through and through.

Character Name: Minfilia Warde Series: Final Fantasy XIV Timeline: pre-The Parting Glass. Canon Resource Links:Fandom Wiki.
Personality: Minfilia Warde is a woman fueled by her resolve to bring forth a better world, and a woman who places faith in her chosen deity-figure to do what is right. She leads, when no other can - she took on her position after a horrible time of mourning, and keeps smiling for most people. She tends to hide her more negative emotions, in fact - only letting people such as the Warrior of Light see past her facade of handling everything by herself. (Even when she feared - and had it confirmed - her close friends and allies had simply vanished into nothingness, she did not allow herself to mourn in public company.) However, while her positive thoughts and lack of negative emotions are mostly a facade, her kindness and love for the world is not.
Truly, Minfilia believes in the kindness of the world. While she, of course, has groups she dislikes - such as Garlemald - she has a deep connection to the tribes of Eorzeas. What, truly, separates them from the Spoken? Why must they be treated as simple beasts? In her younger times, Minfilia even wished to unite them against the threat of Garlemald, against the wishes of others who trusted her judgement. (In the end, she did not manage to do this - but she still believes it is better to listen to them then simply dismiss what they say due to their race or birth.) She believes this for people, as well - her organization allows almost anybody.
Minfilia is strong-willed. In both cases where she was kidnapped - both by dangerous people who could kill her easily - she dare not give up what they wanted. (Information in one case, and a magic relic in another.) She trusted in others being able to save her. That trust extends to her day to day life - people may be smarter, or stronger, or even more compelling then her... but Minfilia will trust their judgement, and will listen to their perspective. As long as they do not deceive her, Minfilia will be pleased to listen.
This is not to say Minfilia does not have bias, nor does she not attempt to protect herself. (As seen when she first meets Elidibus, the Ascian in White - she still is simply aggressive towards this man, even if there is something different between him and other Ascian. The Ascian oppose her deity and have caused a lot of issues, thus she will not simply trust without reason.)
As an aside, Minfilia is a cautious woman. She dares not speak of secrets over the phone, nor does she simply allow people into the Scions - instead distributing a code word, in case bad actors would wish to infiltrate. She would rather you travel to see her to discuss matters. (However, this is simply because she must be. The fate of the star should not be compromised.) She likes keeping track of her allies, and their deeds, as well.
Her connection to her deity, Hydaelyn, is close. Minfilia is said to be one of the people who Hydaelyn connects to the closest. Later, Hydaelyn claims Minfilias' body and aether to make her into an avatar, to give the Warrior of Light information - and, eventually, to save another world. Minfilia is more then willing to give up her life and her connections - especially since she is certain the Scions of the Seventh Dawn can survive without her. While she planted the seeds of a better future, she had to trust in her allies that they would bring it.
For Minfilia Warde is too aware of her position. And Minfilia Warde is willing to play her part in such.
Pokémon Information Affiliation: Trainer Starter: Audino Password: Atomic Fireball
Victory Road Sample: It was not that Minfilia was uncomfortable, honestly, that she was now the caretaker of this Lalafell-sized monster. A Pokemon - Audino, to be exact. Honestly, if she wasn't paying too much attention, she could mistake them for a Lalafell. Perhaps it was because she could feel the Echo within her head, and she could understand the feelings of this Audino, and this Audino was okay with their arrangement as well.
But that was not why Minfilia seemed frustrated. No, instead, she was looking between her Pokemon and the bike she'd found for sale. She'd seen these before, of course - even though it seemed her star was very different then this one, of course they had things like this. (Both with and without motor. Idly, Minfilia wondered if she could get one with a motor - but then again, she would rather tame and ask the help of another Pokemon.) And yet, there was a very clear issue.
Either she could get one with a basket, or she could get one with two seats. But both of them would not fit her Pokemon companion. If she got the basket, her Audino wouldn't fit. But if she got a two-person bike, said Audino would not be able to reach the pedals. Perhaps if there were engineers she was in contact with... but part of her life here was not having the network she had established in Eorzea. It was fine. She would build a new one, in time - even if she had to take more action to gain a reputation, to make more allies.
She could always place Rosa - her name was Rosa, for she had been thinking of the Scions at the time she named her - in her Pokeball. But she wanted to let Rosa experience this world alongside her. After all, Rosa could not tell her of any time before she arrived. They were both young, in a brighter world.
Minfilia turned, to your character. "I have a dilemma. Might you be able to help me?"

Character Name: Operator/Valkyr/Astrid (it's complicated) Series: Warframe Timeline: Up-to-date; timeline-wise, she's just finished with Angels of the Zariman Canon Resource Links:Lore timeline The Tenno Valkyr and the Zanuka project
There is a bit of headcanon to this; a popular fan interpretation is that there are only as many Tenno as there are types of Warframe, which currently puts the count at 49. In using this headcanon, I picked Valkyr to be 'hers' even though in a gameplay sense you can acquire all of them. The canon explicitly confirms the existence of separate timelines, meaning any given Tenno can be 'the main character' and do all the things outlined in the links.
Personality:
Astrid, like all of her fellow Tenno, has been called a lot of things since she escaped the void. Devils, demons, aliens. Monsters. Unholy.
And then, after they'd won the old war for their new masters? Saviors. Heroes.
It's hard not to internalize the societal narrative when it's so ubiquitous, and Astrid isn't immune to this. She's not monstrous, but she does have a quick temper, an impatience once she decides to do something, and a recklessness that works when she's safe in Transference, but not so much when she doesn't have a proxy.
This isn't to say she doesn't care about others. She absolutely does, and is pretty much always ready to fight on behalf of her friends and family. A bit too ready at times; while she does know comforting words, and tries to use them before anything else, she much prefers problems that can be solved with punches.
A lot of this urgency and recklessness comes from the torturous experiments of the Zanuka project. Her Warframe was captured, gutted, taken apart meticulously and put back together sloppily. Warframe technology is, and was, not well understood by most, and in order to make a Tenno-enhanced robot pet Alad V, a sadistic researcher and industrialist, needed to know how they worked. Eventually he began taking parts off of Warframes and piecing them back together rather than trying to build from scratch, which finally mangled her enough to sever transference.
Understandably, this left Astrid with a host of emotional fallout. Working with her brother, a fellow Tenno, has helped her significantly and she's got coping mechanisms, but sudden bouts of claustrophobia, sensory overload, anger at seemingly nothing, and the need to run can appear to come out of nowhere.
Astrid is trying, she really is. Patience doesn't come easily to her, but she's learning to sit with the silence. Being in a place utterly unlike her home could be just the thing she needs.
Pokémon Information Affiliation: Trainer Starter: Porygon Password: Atomic Fireball
Being in a new world, it turns out, is a bit of a blessing in disguise. So far from home, there are fewer things to remind Astrid of the lab, the restraints, the sleep paralysis that kept her from disconnecting from her Warframe until it was truly too mangled to sustain transference. Her brother had been helping her before she was whisked away, and she had been making a lot of progress with her recovery.
Still, sometimes the towns get to be too much for her. Too many people, too many walls, too many sights and smells and sounds. The forests and trails are a godsend for her, and while she has no idea if her Pokemon can understand her, it feels good to talk and they often make little soothing sounds in response.
"Sorry, buddy," she says to the Glameow curled up and purring in her lap. "I know you were excited for the gym. We can go tomorrow, yeah?" The cat reaches up to bat gently at Astrid's earrings, still calm and purring. Astrid takes it as a good sign.
Closing her eyes, she leans back against the bark of a tree and focuses on the world around her. There is an exercise she'd found in the old Zariman databases and it works wonders in grounding her.
"Five things to see..." She opens her eyes. "Tree, leaves, clouds, a bush, Kiste."
"Four things to feel. My heart, the tree behind me, a small breeze, purring."
"Three things to hear. The rustling of leaves, far off birdsong, Kiste's purring."
"Two things to smell. The earth, distant rain."
"One thing to taste." This one makes her pause. She hasn't eaten in a bit, and focusing on the taste part of the exercise gets her body to remember. With a little shrug, Astrid pulls a little snack from her bag.
"One thing to taste," she says around a full mouth. "Marshmallows."

Character Name: Hubert von Vestra Series: Fire Emblem: 3 Houses Timeline: Post Crimson Flower Canon Resource Links:Here
Personality:
Loyal: Above all else Hubert is loyal. While he was assigned to Edelgard when they were both too young to make any choices of their own, his devotion to her and her cause is something he's dedicated himself to utterly on his own. When she was taken north by her uncle he attempted to follow her on his own, across the continent, for three days. At age 10. He didn't make it far but apparently he was able to fight off his father's men for those three days on his own which is scarily impressive for a literal child. Even though he failed the fact that he was willing to try is telling. When she returned and the royal family was largely made figureheads by the noble houses he had the chance to free himself from her service. But instead he just re-devoted himself all over again. Not to House Hresvelg, but to her alone.
As an adult Hubert is one of two characters that can not be recruited from their House (the other being Dedue for similar loyalty reasons) and he not only sides with Edelgard when she turns on the Church and the Adrestian nobility, but even kills his own father as punishment for his part in disposing the Hresvelgs. He partakes in all kinds of evil for her sake, threatening to kill even the Professor to their face to protect her.
Intelligent: While he isn't as naturally genius as Linhardt or Lysithea, Hubert's intelligence is a core aspect of who he is. Unlike Linhardt he doesn't pursue knowledge for his own curiosity or to prove himself like Lysithea. No, his intelligence is as much of a weapon to him as a blade. A skill he can train and sharpen for a purpose and nothing more. He studies so he can use it in Edelgard's service and nothing more. It is practical above all else.
Still, even if it's not that exciting it is something he takes some pride in. He works as the Black Eagle Strikeforce and Imperial Army's tactician, heading the vast majority of the war effort, and it's only Byleth's divine abilities turn the war away from what was a near assured win under his and Edelgard's hands in routes where they side against them. And it's Hubert that is able to track TWSITD back to their lair using the Javalins of Light's magical trajectory. His mind is his greatest weapon, and he knows it.
Supportive: This might seem odd from an assassin, but Hubert has his own kind of gentleness. While he loves tormenting others he takes getting along with his allies very seriously. When Bernadetta faints in front of him he carries her to her room, and when Byleth proves themselves trustworthy in the CF route he completely dedicates himself to supporting them even though he threatened them earlier on. He admits when he's wrong, even if it vexes him- such as complimenting Ferdinand once he shows he is in fact very competent even if he still finds him obnoxious and encourages Caspar to to yell during battle once he realizes it encourages the others and boost moral.
He often second guesses his ability to be supportive. He's not a kind man, and his empathy is lacking. But when he tries he puts his all into it.
Cruel: Hubert is KNOWN for his terrifying aura, and it is not unearned. He has a sadistic side to him that isn't hidden in the slightest. In fact he is shown to enjoy tormenting others with his presence alone. In battle he cackles aloud and mocks his foes and their weakness. As the Minster of the Imperial Household it's his job to do all the nasty work no one wants to admit is needed to run a country, and that includes such things as torture, something he alludes to more than once. He's not just good at such things, he enjoys them to a degree, though that sort of thing is not shown on screen his attitude with more harmless tortures makes it clear. He relishes killing on the battlefield and has no issue setting someone like Jeritza, or monsters like Crest Beasts, after his foes.
Thankfully while he is a cruel sadist he isn't bloodthirsty exactly. He doesn't kill without purpose... he just enjoys it when he gets the chance to do so. Otherwise he indulges himself in smaller pettier cruelty with his words between battles. Ironically it tends to come out more with people who's company he enjoys- his enemies tend to simply get threats and straight forward mockery. But he indulges in jabs and teasing with his allies which while usually harmless are... quite sharp and hurtful to those that aren't used to him.
Cold: Someone in Hubert's position wouldn't survive for long if they weren't able to detach themselves from their actions. But Hubert takes it a bit far. Empathy is not one of his virtues, and in fact he states outright that he is trash at it. He can't be Edelgard's 'heart' and keep her on the moral path which is why he needs Byleth on the Crimson Flower path... and why here in the Verdant Wind path he does nothing to stop her from some of her worse choices and actions. When Byleth's father dies he is useless in comforting them and can only offer possible revenge as a balm.
In various supports he's also shown to be a bit dense when it comes to others emotional states, pushing forward with his harsh criticisms with no hesitations. Everything in his life is a measure of how practical and useful it is, including the people around him. Even his attempts at kindness are often soaked in 'I'm doing this only for Edelgard/the war's sake' not out of actual desire for any softness. That's not *exactly* true, but it's certainly a vibe he gives off and he even claims it as true more than once.
Stubborn: For all Hubert is intelligent, he SHOULD have seen that Edelgard's crusade was risky nearly to the point of doomed. That her vendetta against the Church, while valid, was not so easy to uproot. That you can't change society in a day. In a single life time. No matter how revolutionary (and violent) you are. But for him that didn't matter. Edelgard wanted it and he was gonna make it happen. When someone argues a logical counter to something he's dedicated to he digs in. Hard. For example when Hanneman suggests that his father's betrayal may have had a good reason he snaps back that it doesn't MATTER why. There is no good reason he wants to hear. He can be swayed with lesser things, but when it comes to his core beliefs he is unmovable as stone. And worse, he won't even try to argue his reasons... because he knows his dedication is irrational. It is love, pure and simple.
Nothing is too precious to sacrifice for this love.

Character Name: Bruno Madrigal Series: Encanto Timeline: Post-movie Canon Resource Links:Wiki link
Personality: For five years, Bruno lived in the walls and hidden areas of Casita with only rats as true company. However, he was still there to see his family just out of reach, so to speak, and see the way they all adjusted to his disappearance by making even his name a taboo. Needless to say, it was rough on the man and his self-esteem, which is really just so terribly low. He seems introverted and passive by nature, and it's likely that the weight of having a gift - his is to see the future - and the way people reacted to his negative visions contributed to that. He often comes across as tired, even defeated, when we see him in the film, and it makes sense. He's been through the ringer emotionally all his life. That's not to say Bruno is purely a victim. While he had good intentions in leaving without a word, to protect his niece, he still left without a word, and that deepened quite a few issues in the family, especially those of his mother and two triplet sisters.
However, for all the sadness surrounding Bruno's life, and the questionable nature of his choices, he's not just a tragic character. While extremely awkward and hesitant, Bruno is also something of a goofball, sometimes being quite playful and silly in how he speaks and interacts with others. He's deeply loving towards those he cares about, as well, and can go to great lengths to protect them-- Toward the end of the film, he even comes out of seclusion to defend Mirabel to his mother Alma, a woman whose opinions hold a lot of weight for him, as with all the Madrigals. He's also creative, with a penchant for storytelling and performance, as seen in the shows he creates with his rat companions. While he leans more towards pessimism, I wouldn't call him a full-out pessimist, rather just cautious about getting his hopes up. And he has a certain wisdom he doesn't even seem to realize he has, as seen when he advises Mirabel on how Isabela's not the one who needs to save the miracle; this is about her.

[Really, what else is there to say when you've been rushed out the door of a home that's unfamiliar with only a backpack and some kind of toy ball to protect you, by a woman who calls herself your mother but very clearly is not? Bruno isn't sure how he's going to wrap his mind around this, though he can already tell doing so will most likely stretch his brain to its limits.
A vision is an option, he figures. It's just not one he thinks will help much, because knowing how this all ultimately goes doesn't show him how to get there. And what if he sees himself staying here forever? No thank you! He'd rather not know. And, in all honesty, he also super does not want to anyway. Visions are exhausting. He can't wipe himself out doing that, he has to stay on his guard.
Even if he's just sitting on the front steps of the house he was just kicked out of. Again, it's a lot to wrap his mind around. He needs a moment. But during this moment he's taking, he starts to get fidgety, and pulls out the red and white toy that woman gave him. He starts tossing it from hand to hand, and at one point fumbles it. That's when things get even stranger.
Bruno doesn't know how a snake was in there, nor does he dwell on it. He just stares at it - after an instinctive flinch when he first sees it, that is. But this creature doesn't seem to want to hurt him, because it's green eyes just staring right back. Expectantly.]

Character Name: Marik Ishtar Series: Yu-Gi-Oh Duel Monsters Timeline: Post Season 3 Canon Resource Links:Yu-Gi-Oh Wiki on Marik Ishtar
Personality:
Where does one ever start with Marik? He grew up a sheltered, bright eyed child, unaware of any troubles in the world yet wanting desperately to see it. Due to his family's role as keepers of the Pharaoh's tomb, as Marik grew older he began to resent his role as future keeper and focused his negative feelings towards the Pharaoh. His brother Odion was more than happy to accept the role himself. Why couldn't he take it? Try as he might, not even Odion could save his younger brother from his fate.
And his fate was indeed a cruel one. When he became of age, the secrets of the Pharaoh was burned on to his back. Resentment, anger, hatred, sadness, confusion, extreme physical pain. It became all too much for Marik to bear and he snapped, developing a split personality. This personality, referred to as Yami Marik or Marik's dark side channeled and fueled all of his negative emotions. Odion, who self-inflicted the same markings in to his face to show how loyal he was to his master and younger brother, was the only one who could keep Marik's darker side at bay.
The two personalities began to blend though a year later when his father tortured Odion for allowing Marik and Ishizu to sneak out to the surface. Yami Marik fully manifested then and killed his father with no remorse. From that point on, he wasn't the same. Marik became delusion, egotistical, and self-serving. No one mattered but himself. His resentment only continued to grow, Marik eventually convincing himself that he should be the one to inherit the Pharaoh's power.
He sacrificed hundreds of lives to fulfill his own selfish desires, even subjecting and tormenting his siblings. Nothing else mattered. He was determined to obtain what some might consider godhood. Nothing was off the table. And with the power of the Millennium Rod, he could easily mind control those vulnerable.
Due to his ego though, Marik thinks of himself as the smartest person in any given situation, often going on long inner-monologues (like comically so) and even telling people of his plans, believing there's no chance they could best him even with vital information. He is good at manipulation though, able to convince people that he was someone else entirely, and even have them believe his lies while puppeting others.
After sacrificing Odion (who lives despite that) to further his plans, Yami Marik comes to full power, expelling his "good" side from his body. Marik is forced to watch in horror as his evil side runs rampant.
Bakura describes him best at this point: "You're a parasite." Marik continues to hop from host to host or those who can sense spirits in order to get them to help him, acting as if it was only Yami that did all those terrible things. He sits with an unconscious Odion (who Yami keeps trying to kill between matches) and apologizes for everything he has done. One of the few times he shows remorse.
When Yami is finally defeated, Marik is able to reclaim his body. He does seem to have changed for the better - he has come to terms with his role as a tomb keeper and plans to make amends with his family for everything he's put them through. The boy seems hopeful for the first time in years.

This... is not home. This isn't even the plane I was flying in. I know I had fallen asleep on the flight back to Egypt but now I'm in... someone else's bed? With a strange monster looking at me!
It doesn't look like a Duel Monster but it's definitely not a hologram. It seems real.
This has to be a dream though. After all, I did fall asleep... and my darker half isn't with me anymore so I can't be unconscious.
Marik pinches the bridge of his nose and simply lies there for a few moments. The aforementioned creature, a Yamask, sits obediently by his side while he tries to process all of this.
Hm. This thing doesn't have any bad energy to it. So it's not from the Shadow Realm...
Which reminds him...
Ah... It's so quiet. I don't have any invading thoughts. It's just... me. Is this... is this what it's like to be normal again? I had forgotten how nice this was...
Wait-
The Rod.
Marik shoots up out of bed and begins ransacking the room in search of his prized possession.
"It's not here," he says out loud - mostly to himself but partially to the Yamask, who floats over to his trainer as he continues to search. "Why isn't it here?! It's my duty to protect them...!"
Panic sets in as he finds nothing.
It has to be here. It just has to! If not in this room then I'll tear up the rest of this house to find it!
He storms out of the bedroom and down the stairs only to find... a woman.
"You-"
She interupts him before he can get another word in. "Hello, Dear! Glad to see you're awake. I've packed your bag so you should be good to head out whenever!"
The Egyptian just stares, dumbfounded.
Was I kidnapped? What in oblivion is going on? Gods, there are so many questions and I expect I won't be getting any answers any time soon.
How annoying. I must find a way to gather more information!
-------
Sometime later after heading out (and tearing up the entire house for the Millennium Rod while the bizarre woman just sat there smiling), Marik had become more familiar with the predicament he'd found himself in as he lurked on the network.
What a strange twist of fate if I'm to believe what's going on. I no longer need to worry about another aspect of myself for the first time in years... And this world isn't my own so there's no need for a tomb keeper, no need to protect the Millennium items. Perhaps... perhaps this is a chance for me to see the world like I've always wanted to since I was a child. If time does indeed stop, then I doesn't need to worry about any of those things or about concerning Ishizu or Odion with my disappearance.
The boy looked to his companion. "I suppose... if I'm going to be here for a while, I should name you."
The Yamask tilts his head.
"Chenzira. It means 'born during a journey.' What do you think?"
Chenzira lets out a soft, pleased sound and rests on his trainer's shoulder.
"I'm glad you like it. I thought it was clever," he replies, looking rather satisfied with himself.
Yes... This life will do nicely. Perhaps I can even acquire another motorcycle!

Atsumu outwardly expresses himself as a carefree, fun dude to be around. His lazy eyes and trickster smile aren't exactly off-putting and attract all kinds of fans and followers— Especially the ladies; he's mentioned to be incredibly good-looking, carrying life around as if it were a breeze. He clowns around, tries to crack jokes to get attention and amusement, and that’s amusing, obviously! He's upbeat and incredibly confident in his skills, appearance and of who he is, all of which stack on top of each other to bring out something positively negative if nurtured the wrong way.
As a result of these poorly groomed characteristics, Atsumu is openly provoking around others; he calls them out on their mistakes, spews insults where he thinks is a good place to slap them (calling peoples suckers and scrubs constantly if they aren't at a certain level of skill he expects), and enjoys hashing out backhanded compliments to others— because he thinks he's in a fairly good position to. What's worse is that this clearly pushes people on his team to dislike him, and he doesn't care; if people aren't up to par, then they really shouldn't be around him, you know? His twin brother, Osamu, states without a doubt that Atsumu has a hard time listening to people (because he thinks he's right), lies constantly so he doesn't get into trouble, and doesn't return what he borrows.
Atsumu's condescending behavior stems from his pride, and what keeps his pride alive is his horrifying perfectionism and competitiveness. He strives for the best, to be the best, and his work doesn't go unrewarded. He runs on the notion of hard word is rewarded, and he gets hugely upset when that doesn't happen. He will offer the best for his teammates, but in turn, expects that they keep up with his rhythm, and that they too give their best to him. If these high standards aren't reached, then Atsumu brings out the mean guns, and mercilessly to boot— because he feels that he's working his ass off for something, and the other end of the deal isn't. It's frustrating, because if he's giving his all to someone, he wants that someone to give their all to him.
He's unafraid to confront people and go as far as to belittle them by calling them trash. He's childish and whiny when things seem to spiral downhill if he's losing at something, and often twists the blame to his teammates if he knows he's doing everything he can. Atsumu even demands silence at games to be able serve, and even when fans cheer for him at an unwanted time, Atsumu quickly shuts them down and calls them pigs for disturbing his concentration; in Atsumu's mind, it doesn't matter if they're boy or girl, fan or family. They did something he disliked, and he's sure to let people know when that happens even if it's harsh.
Despite that nastiness, Atsumu is possibly one of the most dedicated and considerate setters that a hitter could have in volleyball. He makes a toss just right for every individual, makes it even easy to hit— he compliments good moves and when he's made a mistake, he knows where to apologize. He’s a person that looks ahead, focuses greatly on the present and stays true to his school’s moto: who needs memories? Because he does today, not yesterday or tomorrow, in everything he does. He lives thoroughly and with great passion.

Spoilers for Part 5 of Jojo's Bizarre Adventure Follow
Character Name: Leone Abbacchio Series: Jojo's Bizarre Adventure Golden Wind Timeline: Episode 28 (his death) Canon Resource Links:Jojo's why
Personality:
Leone Abbacchio has the backstory of a 30 or 40 something year old action hero or mentor and boy does it show. Abbacchio is remarkably bitter and jaded for someone his age, seeing very little point to anything outside of a few select things. He calls himself "utterly hopeless" and a failure, he's perhaps the least friendly of Bucciarati's squad, and he very rarely seems to be happy or amused by much of anything. This is a drastic change from what we know of Abbacchio from a couple of years before the start of canon; he had joined the police force straight out of high school out of a desire to do good, only to be worn down into the weary young man he is now by the corruption in the city and death of his partner on the force, which was caused by Abbacchio himself giving into that corruption. Because of this, Abbacchio tends to be incredibly jealous of those who can face that same corruption, the same exhaustingly bleak reality that wore him down and stay determined and stick to their path regardless of how tough it becomes. He admits as much to the ghost of his dead partner after Abbacchio's own death, though he is assured that despite everything, he never truly lost his own drive.
And, perhaps, that is best demonstrated with his determination to complete almost any task given to him, without fail, provided it comes from a trusted higher up. For all that Abbacchio claims that his shortcomings will always lead to his failure, he will stop at nothing to fulfill his mission, even willing to cut off his own hand if it means he has a chance to do what he was asked. Part of this does stem from his complete and utter trust in Bruno Bucciarati, as Bucciarati is the man who found Abbacchio at his lowest and brought him into Passione and gave him a purpose. His loyalty to Bucciarati is so strong that even though he says he swore loyalty to Passione, not Bucciarati, he is the first of the group to join Bucciarati and Giorno on their quest to kill the boss. Bucciarati tells Abbacchio to do something, and Abbacchio will do it even if it costs him or another their life. Death barely stops him, though unlike some people he doesn't get to continue on as basically a zombie and just gets to leave them a clue with the last of his strength.
That's not to say that Abbacchio is totally humorless or anything. He doesn't mind humoring some of the wilder conversations the younger members of the team have, he admits to getting some of his knowledge from movies to the concern of everyone else, and he is not above pissing in a teakettle to haze or troll or whatever the purpose behind that particular action was if the target is someone he does not like. (Poor Giorno.) He's just aloof on a good day, an asshole on a bad day, and God help you if he thinks you are going to cause problems for Bucciarati. (Again, poor Giorno.)

Victory Road Sample: Abbacchio stares at the weird sentient teacup as it (she? He? How do you gender a fucking sentient teacup!?) floats around the fire he managed to get going, making a noise that might be chirping but could just as easily be chiming. Singing? Is it singing?
He hates that his first thought is "Giorno would probably know". Stupid know-it-all kid. (Hopefully he'll be okay.)
The teacup continues to dance around the fire, clearly having the time of its life even as it gets dangerously close to the flames and nearly "spills" over. Abbacchio reaches out and pulls it back by the handle, ignoring the protesting noises.
"I don't know what's going to happen if you spill," he mutters. "Try not to--hey!" He pulls his hand back when the teacup uses the purple…whatever to smack his hand away. "Watch it, you little shit." God, he misses Bucciarati. Or even Narancia or Mista, any of them would be better suited to mind this weird teacup-thing than he is.
But they're not here. He is, and even though this all sounds like so much bullshit Abbacchio can't just…let this weird teacup-thing die or whatever. It seems to be alive. That'd just feel wrong.
He just lets the teacup clink around his head for a minute before it gets bored and floats around to stare at him, the design on the cup looking Utterly Unamused. He just raises an eyebrow and stares back. A few seconds pass; the teacup seems to sigh before it goes back to dancing around, though at least it stays away from the fire this time. Again, Abbacchio just watches.
After a moment, he reaches out to grab it again, only this time by the lip and only just to get it to turn around to him. (He has never seen a teacup look so Done, it's honestly impressive.) "Do you have a name?"
"Sinistea!"
"That can't be your name, you've been chanting it this entire time."
"Sini!"
He's going to take that as a "no", then, which means it's probably on him to name it. Of course it is.

Player Name: Bear E-mail: realisticfakefish at gmail Preferred Contact:naturalcyber Timezone: CST Current Characters in Victory Road: Thace
Character Name: Lupa, of the Wolves Series: Digital Devil Saga Timeline: game 2, Sun arrival Canon Resource Links: a link but it's sparse, and some of the info isn't entirely correct. (Especially about the circumstances of Greg's death. It's blatantly wrong about that.)
So my attempt to summarize without being too wordy: When he first appears in Game 1, Lupa is already the leader of a very large and successful tribe. He's quiet, but gets right to the point of asking a very important question during the meeting with the Dissemination Machine and the other tribe leaders. His tribe, The Wolves, is easily one of the most formidable, and through Lupa's leadership has been able to hold a standoff with the larger Brutes tribe, who have more manpower, and a fearsome leader of their own in Varin Omega. It's also made a visual point that Lupa wears strings of Tag Rings around his neck and waist. While the exact reasoning behind it is never elaborated on, anyone in the Junkyard would know what the Tag Rings are used for, and therefore represent. Tag Rings are the most basic possession of each person in the Junkyard, and record their exploits in battle, and their allotment of macca--money--, as well as allowing them to requisition necessities like weapons, ammo, and rations for themselves. Leaders, when called to the Temple, use their Tag Rings to confirm their identity and presence. In short, each ring represents a life, and Lupa wears over a dozen not his own strung together with blood-red cords.
Lupa doesn't make another "on-screen" appearance for a good chunk of gameplay, but the player can learn about him and the Wolves through dialogue with Wolves tribe-members in various places. The members emulate their leader in many ways, demonstrating an emphasis on knowledge, honor, and steadfast confidence in spite of being out-manned and surrounded by their enemies.
When Lupa does appear again, he's the leader of an essentially defeated tribe--because the enemy leader got an 11th hour villainous superpower and decimated his tribe with it--and he doesn't act the least bit defeated by this. He shows up to negotiate with the Embryon, who are the only other standing tribe, and have the trump card--the Cyber Shaman, Sera--working with them, as an equal, and retains his dignified bearing even as he offers his life in exchange for taking good care of his men, after he helps them defeat the Brutes. When his motives are questioned and his life threatened, Lupa doesn't flinch, and reiterates his position, insisting that he sees honor in the Embryon (and especially Gale, who's holding a knife to his throat at the time). Then he proceeds to lead the Embryon into a set of secret tunnels, that they can use to sneak into the Brutes' well defended base undetected.
While he leads them, Lupa helps guide the Embryon to discovering a fact he has already realized, that there is something fundamentally wrong with the Junkyard and how things work, especially that they remember things that do not exist in their world. During this exchange, he reveals he has a son, a child, that he's been dreaming about since getting the Atma, and that there's something he needs to tell the child, but that someone else will do it for him.
Then the Brutes discover the tunnels, and Lupa tells them about Varin's new power (to drive demons instantly Mad, not that Lupa has confirmation of this beyond Varin "becoming unstoppable somehow") and how he used it to slaughter the Wolves all on his own, and claims he will provide a distraction and keep the Brutes busy while the Embryon continue with the plan. He gives his Tag Ring (again, symbolizing his life) to Gale (and not the tribe leader, Serph) before transforming into Cerberus and going off to do what he claims. But not before Gale declares that Lupa will go to Nirvana with them, even if they have to destroy the Temple that governs the whole world. To which Lupa replies, "So be it."
As the Embryon go through the tunnels, they see evidence of Lupa doing as claimed, but at first, each soldier of the Brutes is killed as quickly and cleanly as possible, and some are even left alive and unconscious. However, the further they go, the more vicious the deaths are, torn to pieces, and with evidence that this was done before death in some cases. One of the Wolves claims that Lupa growled at him as if he didn't recognize him, shakily making an excuse that it must have been dark. Finally they come across the body of one of the Wolves, throat completely torn out.
Then Lupa, gone completely Mad, attacks them, and the Embryon are forced to mortally wound him. Then Lupa, unable to transform back, shares a few last words, asking Gale to devour him, and passing along a message for his child to become a man of honor, and that said child will be holding an olive leaf.
Then he dies, but that's not the end of his story. Once the Embryon make it out of the Junkyard, they discover the real world, and that everyone inside the Junkyard, including themselves, was an AI. They also discover that almost all the AIs have part or all of the soul (or data) of people who had lived and died in the real world.
Lupa was one of them, named Greg, and he was the founder and leader of the rebel group called the Lokapala, who have been working to keep people safe and out from under the grasp of the Karma Society who were masquerading complete social control as salvation and eventually started turning people into demons and capturing "unworthies" like the Lokapala for food. Greg's son Fred, and Greg's best friend Roland, end up joining the Embryon, just as the Embryon end up helping the Lokapala with their goals.
About Greg specifically, he was a good leader, and remembered very fondly by his men, even two years after his death. He personally took the risk of leading the Lokapala against the Karma Society to protect themselves, and in the end he was abandoned by Roland (who later blames himself for Greg's death), after purposefully staying back alone to fight the Karma Society and save as many lives of his men as he could.
Personality: One thing that the games make clear is that Greg and Lupa are very similar, if not outright identical to each other in base personality. The largest differences between them stem from the fact that Greg was a normal man, and a man of peace foremost, who picked up leadership to help and save his people, and eventually actual fighting as a very last resort in a world gone apocalyptic. Lupa, on the other hand, is tempered steel, forged by fighting, and long before he truly awoke to the depths of his personality, existed only for war.
The most quickly apparent trait that Lupa displays is honor. He holds true to his word, even at his own expense, and is steadfastly loyal, not only to his ideals, but to his men, and when dishonored by Madness, specifically asks for death ("Please… Devour me.") which fits in very well with warrior honor codes.
He retains high ideals, even in a literal dog-eat-dog world of the Junkyard. Lupa's first concern is that of caring for his men. What brings him to reach out to the Embryon is the destruction of so many lives of people he was responsible for, and knowing that he alone couldn't stop it, and on the negotiating table, his most important requirement is that the Embryon treat his soldiers "fairly." He retains this trait from Greg, who was a compassionate leader and was willing to sacrifice himself to protect the Lokapala. Indeed, Lupa is willing to literally offer the Embryon his head in order to see his men taken care of. It's the very definition of selflessness.
Lupa's compassion and sense of fairness extends to others not his own as well. In the tunnels, while he maintains control of himself, he leaves even his enemies alive if he can, and kills them as quickly (and presumably painlessly) as he can if leaving them alive is impossible. He doesn't devour a single one.
Lupa is also very intelligent and perceptive. He's the first to realize and point out in the beginning of the game that in spite of the new commandments, in essence nothing has changed, so how can they end the stalemate? He also accepts Gale's test for what it is, and can see similar traits to those Lupa possesses in Gale before Gale realizes them inside himself. Additionally, Lupa is also the one who makes the first steps towards realizing that they're all in an unnatural world, even if he doesn't have all the pieces in order to realize exactly how the world is unnatural.
Lupa is also a parent at heart. Right up there with taking care of his soldiers, who can be argued as family, given the way the games present relationships with the tribe that gets the most screentime, is finding and reuniting with his son, and if he can't, making sure his son gets his last message.
Lupa is also charismatic, this inherited directly from Greg, who was able to unite scared, hopeless and downtrodden people behind one cause. Lupa admittedly had an easier time of it, given the AIs in the Junkyard were essentially programmed to follow their leaders, but even in the Junkyard, his soldiers refuse to follow the law which states that they must join the victorious tribe. They continue to follow Lupa's memory to the very end.
In general, Lupa is serious and severe, as befits a soldier and leader of men, but there are hints of other emotions. There's the faintest hint of a smile when Gale offers to take down the Temple so he can join the Embryon, and he can't quite disguise things like surprise, or approval in his tone. Given a new environment that is less kill or be killed, that serious exterior would be able to soften. Lupa is pragmatic, but he still has the steadfast hope that Greg had underneath that exterior, even if he shows it in subtle ways, like the certainty that the Embryon and Sera will kill Varin and attain Nirvana.

Victory Road Sample: Lupa opens his eyes to light, soft colors, a breath of air rushing into his lungs and... too quiet. The Junkyard is gone, but the lack of the hiss and patter of constant rain feels wrong. All of this, the colors, bright and everywhere, the softness beneath him, the... the toys, speaks of a child's bedroom. A child's bedroom the one in his dreams never got to have...
"Wake up, sleepyhead! Today's the big day!"
Lupa jerks his head toward the woman standing in the door. Her face is unfamiliar. Her clothes are soft and flowing and not armor at all. He towers over her when he stands, and she doesn't seem to notice how he fails to fit into the rest of the room. "I don't understand."
She laughs. "Oh you're still half asleep, aren't you? Breakfast will fix that!"
He doesn't want to dev-- But the tearing, burning pain of the Hunger isn't alive in his stomach and trying to crawl up his throat and seize his body. "I'm not hungry?"
"Oh hush, you! You need a good breakfast. Mom knows best!"
"Mom...?" Lupa is numb as her hand finds his wrist and he can do nothing but follow. Mom. Mother. The female counterpart to Father. But he is not a child; he has never been. Did he have a mother once, in the life he's dreamed of? Did his child?
His mind reels. His stomach twists at the food. Toast, 'Mom' had said, with eggs and bacon... something about the smell sends flashes through his mind. Images and sensations lodge behind his eyes, echoing in his ears and in his mouth, of his teeth, slick with blood, cutting through living, screaming skin and muscle and-- He shakes his head and backs up until he runs up against a wall.
'Mom' clucks her tongue and pushes some kind of pack into his arms, and makes motions toward the door. Lupa can only go, wanting to be free of the memories, and jerks at the sound of the slam behind him. He makes it two steps before his knees jar against the ground.
His breath heaves against his ribs for time. How much, Lupa doesn't know. Then the bright light from above, soft, dry ground beneath, and the feel of an invisible touch (a breeze) against his skin become strong enough on his mind to pull him from his memories. It's beautiful. Nirvana was a lie so this can't be...

Character Name: falco grice Series: attack on titan Timeline: end series Canon Resource Links:here
Personality: Emotion (in the bleeding heart way) has always been a forte for Falco as one of the most empathetic characters of his series. We see the brightness in Falco's eyes when he helps someone— whether it's tending to the wounds of an enemy soldier who blew him out of a trench an hour earlier or delivering letters to supposed family for a stranger. Falco is highly considerate as he is immensely understanding toward others, whether they’re considered a comrade or any enemy. Throughout the series he wants nothing short of freedom for himself and his people wherever they may be— Island “devils” or Marley-bound Eldians wrongly labeled as “a good Eldian” at most. He laments profusely when he speaks of Marley's attack on Paradis openly to a girl his age wanting answers for the reason why her mother died, all due to a recon crossfire (when she’s technically an “enemy” but also a civilian). Those of Paradis had their memories wiped and knew nothing of the outside world— despite being taught that all Paradisians are island devils, Falco has never accepted that. It's horrid and utterly wrong what Marley does and that he and Eldians as a whole don't have access to basic human rights. In Falco's case, he considers all equally worthy of empathy and understanding, free of misjudgment and given a chance to be known (as long as you aren't some raging murderous monster, of course).
To make things just a touch better, he’s not just empathetic! He also has an amazing pacifistic streak even in times of great danger toward himself. Countless times, Falco's pacifism shines through whether he's serving as a human shield to gunfire or physical assault, or gently keeping people from attacking someone else by holding them back. He can’t stand it. Can’t stand to see his loved ones or even strangers in a situation where pain or death are too close for comfort. Violence bothers him to no end. He runs on the understanding, from personal experience, that it's usually difficult to slap a moral tag on someone during acts of war, and thus never holds grudges no matter how unsettled he can get. Because, like him and other soldiers (or even Reiner, who he witnessed having a suicidal breakdown due to the guilt of causing mass death on Paradis), intention and emotion play a huge role in how a person deals with their weight and if they're "good" at their core. It isn't so cut and dry and Falco not only understands it, but always tends to relate to it, as a boy who doesn’t want to be where he is or do the things he does— but finds no other choice in the matter, especially under the weight of oppression.
🦅
Pacifism tied to courage and compassion off the charts is more dangerous than one would think. Just because Falco strives for peace doesn’t mean he sits by and does nothing (he actually simply cannot do this, especially after he inherits the jaw titan from Porco, stating that his death would be a waste if he did nothing with the power he gained and storms off to battle to help the Alliance). Falco’s bravery allows him to jump into hazardous situations to tend to people or even attempt to save them in any way he could, starting with the amount of times he’s actually saved Gabi’s life (and others) from gunfire by jumping into her or pushing her out of the way. The most prominent of them all was when Falco took a wine bottle to the head by pushing Gabi out of the trajectory— and with ferocity in his eyes no less. Even during his CRAU time, Falco jumps in the way of danger more than five times in an attempt to rescue someone from a deadly blow (withholding information, getting shot; separating a fight between adults, getting stabbed and shot). Whether he has to take that blow or not in the process, his actions only confirm that he would rather it be him than the person he’s protecting.
And no one can stand to see a boy like Falco injured (most of the time; it hurts your heart).
To top things all off, Falco is immensely polite, especially toward those older than him. It’s always miss, missus, sir, mister, ma’am— can you imagine just how adorable it is to hear Mister Mandalorian? He shows respect for his elders and if they have a title, he’s sure to use it. Kids his age, well— he has a bit more liberty to be bold and oppose ideas, as well as be pretty candid to the point that he’s openly sassy or calling someone stupid (if they’re really about to do something stupid, Gabi). He’s mostly calm in every day life, a hard worker, and even humble about his achievements— after his boosted confidence and gain in performance, he’s quick to get shy over too much praise, but still credits those who have made a difference; such was Mister Kruger, who receives credit from Falco during a visit to the hospital for having excelled in a short amount of time.
Falco may not have the brawn of a teen or young adult, but he is still growing, has trained since a young age toward survival and warfare, and has the brains to make up for the rest. He’s plenty resourceful and a quick thinker, able to save himself and Gabi at the tip of a hat by making up a story, fake names, and using them. It pains him to lie, but if he must to stay alive, he won’t think twice. He’s surprisingly convincing with his stories, too— quickly sticking to a created alibi not once, but twice during meetings with the Braus family to the point that he’s quite the little spy. He even managed to fake intestinal cramps caused by “bad food” at a restaurant that earned him a fast ticket to the basement instead of the bathroom.
Falco Grice is virtuous, so much that it is, of course, a wonderful thing as it is something that makes him easily vulnerable to manipulation. While he has a deep understanding of morality and how grey it can be at times, he's also ridiculously candid to the point that it could be taken advantage of. He has already made the mistake of easily trusting and delivering letters for a stranger that ended up being Eren Jaeger calling his "family" for backup in Libero, unintentionally helping him achieve an important level in his plan that would eventually and consequentially lead to the destruction of the rest of the world. Udo and Zophia, his two best friends, on top of other countless innocent lives were taken and wiped because of Falco's desire to help everyone he sees.
Falco's pacifism, while generally something seen as positive, may at times also be so exaggerated that it puts him in danger when he can easily get himself out of it— this is more likely due to the early trauma of being sent to war and forced to harm and see harm, where Falco's personality type clearly goes against violence even under self-defense. This can be seen best when Falco is nearly fed to a pure titan by Connie— he doesn't resist out of not wanting to harm him or anyone else when just nearly he was going to be fed without a fight.

Character Name: Loki Odinson Series: Marvel Cinematic Universe (Note this is the main movie timeline, not including the Loki show) Timeline: Right after his death in Infinity War Canon Resource Links: Marvel wiki with everything you need to know!
Personality: If you were to ask Loki, he would almost always say he’s the smartest and most capable person in the room. There may be times where he’s right! He is actually rather intelligent, having benefited from a sharp mind and literal centuries of royal tutoring. He is also very strong. As a Jotun, he has physical capabilities that far outstretch a normal human. This combined with his his mastery of magic means there are very few in the universe who can stand toe to toe with him. Unfortunately for him, he is a villian/narrative foil in a superhero property, so he is often in the company of people who are stronger and/or smarter than him. Most all of his defeats stem from his hubris.
Take this scene from the first Avengers as an example. Hawkeye shoots an arrow at Loki. Loki, because of his enhanced strength and reflexes, is able to catch it. He makes a dumb smirk at the archer, the arrow blows up in his face. The smart thing to do would have been to catch the arrow and throw it away. Hawkeye had previously been under Loki control, so Loki should have known that the man had trick arrows like that. Either Loki didn’t think to ask about his arsenal (because he’s a lowly human and it wasn’t his concern) or he just straight up didn’t think about it in the moment, because in his mind there wasn’t anything to worry about! This human wouldn’t be smart enough to shoot an exploding arrow at me!
Another thing getting in the way of his schemes that are so well thought out (sarcasm), is his general chaotic nature. He likes it when things are loud and flashy and out of control. He especially likes it if he’s the one who causes said ruckus. In Thor: Ragnarok, Thor agrees with Loki when he says he would be better off staying on Sakaar, noting it is “Savage, chaotic, lawless.” Thor says Loki would do great there, and for good reason. Loki had been on the planet for two weeks before Thor showed up and was apparently thriving. Loki does take slight offense (probably at the ‘savage’ part), but doesn’t disagree with him either.
Speaking of that scene in the elevator, let’s take a closer look at the end of that— no, not the Get Help part, though that is hilarious. Right before that, as the brothers are talking about Loki staying on Sakaar, how they should go their separate ways. Loki seems somewhat disappointed, like he wanted Thor to try to get him to stay. It’s no secret Loki’s relationship with his family is a complicated and fraught one. Even before he found out he’s actually a Jotun, the mortal enemies of Asgard and “monster(s)who parents tell their children about at night,” he clear states he always thought Odin favored Thor over him*. Tme and time again he tries to prove himself to his family, Odin most of all. In this scene, in his own weird way, he seems to want Thor to ask him to stay. Loki pushed to feel the pull, but when Thor doesn’t give him what he wanted, he’s at a loss. In the end Loki has a deep-seeded need to belong, to feel wanted and a part of something. Outside of his chaotic nature, that’s why he thrived in Sakaar: it was a place where he could start over, weave his own story, and belong.**
Years of writing education tells me I need a conclusion paragraph so…yeah, he’s my poor little meow meow (aka: war criminal) and I want to give him cute battle monsters and let him find a gang of misfits to pal around with.
*Whether this is true or not is hard to say as we’re not shown more than a brief scene of them growing up. But then again we aren’t here to debate Odin’s A+Parenting. What matters to Loki’s character is that he thinks Odin favored Thor, coloring his opinion of both his brother and father.
**Thus why the best trope for Loki is Found Family and why I enjoy playing him in jamjar settings.

Character Name: Keldor Series: Masters of the Universe [classics mini comics primarily, but with elements borrowed from other iterations to round things out] Timeline: Pre-canon ["Secret Origins of Skeltor". Specifically, around the time he starts gathering followers after gaining the havoc staff and subsequently turning his back on Hordak] Canon Resource Links:Link to wiki.
Personality: Background Stuff: Despite being the son of the Eternian king Miro, and thus a prince, Keldor's life growing up was never easy. Not because he is bastard-born, but because of who his mother is: a Gar. The Gar people of Eternia are a race of blue-skinned humanoids who are treated with suspicion and even outright hostility, due in large part to the actions of one Gar a millennium ago. Upon the advice of another Gar [or, someone whom everyone thought was a Gar], King Grayskull had been murdered. For that, the humans treat the Gar with distrust, and regard them as sub-human "murderers and thieves". Keldor's Gar heritage is plain for all to see, and there is no doubt that the poor treatment he received, not just from the human citizens of Eternia, but also from King Miro himself, has affected him greatly.
And it was this heritage that not only kept Keldor from inheriting the throne upon Miro's demise [he was banished to some unknown dimension by Count Marzo during the time of the Great Unrest], but also the ill-timed death of his stepmother, Queen Amelia, who suddenly dropped dead near her stepson. Keldor was blamed for the death and accused of murder, and was subsequently banished—without even being given an opportunity to defend himself—by his own half-brother, Randor, which would only add to Keldor's feelings of anger and resentment.
Now an outcast, and filled with anger, bitterness and resentment over the injustices he'd suffered as well as the fact that he was denied the opportunity to become king, as was his birthright, Keldor wandered about Eternia with only his pet dylinx, Panthor as company, until one day he came across the shrine of Hordak [an ancient spirit from long ago]. Hordak [who identified himself as Kur] offered Keldor mentorship as well as a sympathetic ear, which Keldor accepted with only little hesitation. It was Hordak who taught Keldor his skills in magic, and even told him about a lost object that would help make his magics stronger; namely the havoc staff, which could be found in the lost city of Zalesia.
Somehow, after acquiring the havoc staff, Keldor figured out Hordak's true identity, and destroyed the shrine, declaring that he, not Hordak was lord of his own destiny. After that, Keldor set about gathering followers amongst the other outcasts of Eternia, in the hopes of overthrowing the Council of Elders and take back what is rightfully his.
...it didn't go the way he'd planned, though.
Injured in the battle and near death, Keldor sought out Hordak one last time, in the hopes that his mentor would heal him.
Hordak did no such thing. Instead he bound Keldor to a demon named Demo-Man, and created the being known as Skeletor; the lord of destruction [which was probably Hordak's plan all along].
Character traits - positive: As someone who has faced more than his fair share of bigotry at the hands of Eternia's human population, Keldor has a fair amount of sympathy and compassion, especially towards people who've experienced similar in their own lives [up to a point], and tends to have a strong sense of justice and fairness [of course, it's his definitions, but still]. He'd even rescued Panthor from hunters while the cat was still a cub, and the fact that Panthor is still loyal to Keldor implies that he can be surprisingly kind and gentle. Panthor is huge—as in, about the size of a large pony—and could easily kill his master if he wanted to, but doesn't, indicating that the animal was raised well.
Also, the fact that [somehow] Keldor figured out who Hordak was, and that he was being manipulated by the spirit, and chose to sever ties rather than continue being Hordak's apprentice indicates that for all the emotions that were born out of his pain and suffering, shows that becoming Skeletor is something he never would have chosen for himself had he known about it [this is borne out later on in the series, when He-Man ends up driving out the demon, Demo-Man. Before he died, he asked that He-Man protect all people, including the Gar, and rule justly.].
Character traits - negative: Unfortunately, Keldor is someone who has a lot of anger and resentment to deal with, thanks to the way he was treated growing up, and will probably be extremely prickly when it comes to the sorts of topics that these emotions are directed at. The fact that even his own father never loved him, and that the only humans who'd ever shown him any kindness at all were his stepmother, his brother [until he banished Keldor unjustly, that is] and the humans who joined his cause, like Lyn, means Keldor will likely be rather frosty in his dealings with humans, and will consider his bigotry to be well-placed, seeing as it is almost solely humans who are responsible for his travails. There may also be a tendency towards hasty decision-making, if his willingness to serve Hordak is an indication. Granted, Hordak was offering what seemed to be compassion and an opportunity for Keldor to prove himself, which he was all too eager to accept, given that these were things Keldor desperately needed in his life, and he may become temporarily blind to obvious dangers if someone were use his vulnerabilities as a means to gain his cooperation. If he finds out that he's being used, though, the retaliation will be swift and maybe even violent.
He can also at times be considered ruthless and willing to use underhanded tactics to get his way. Not to the point of outright evil; just a fair bit of moral greyness.
Pokémon Information Affiliation: Trainer Starter: Rowlet Password: Atomic Fireball
Victory Road Sample: Better transportation is now high up on Keldor's list of priorities. With Panthor now about one-twentieth his normal size, getting about this strange world the traditional way is out of the question. Small fluffy cats just can't carry full-grown men on their backs and expect to still be alive at the end of it. He'd seen a vehicle or two, and even someone riding one of their "pokemon" [strange word, that], but no one willing to offer to give yet another new outworlder a lift.
It's as if this world just expects new trainers to wear out their shoes [or whatever it is they wear on their feet—assuming they have feet] several times during their journey to "be a master". Not like Keldor isn't used to doing a whole lot of walking. Sometimes Panthor just needed a break from being Keldor's big purple taxi, and Keldor is not one to cause his animal unnecessary suffering.
Still, an offer of a ride would've made him feel better. Especially given his latest annoyance now that Bizarro Weekend™ is over.
He'd learned about other worlds, strange creatures that for some reason like being made to battle, magic loss and other things like that, but no one told him he was going to be made a fucking human being once the weird was over! Yes, the humans of Eternia hate the Gar people for some shit one of the blue-skinned humanoids did a millennium ago, but that's ancient history and it's time to Fucking Get Over It Already. He's also rather proud of what he is, and losing his trademark blue for Bog Standard Human Skin Tone #3 probably would not have made Keldor agreeable company had he been offered a lift on his way to Cherrygrove. Which might as well be for the best.
He just hopes things improve by the time he actually gets there.

Character Name: Seto Kaiba Series: Yu-Gi-Oh Duel Monsters (anime) Timeline: Post-final episode, immediately after the Ceremonial Duel Canon Resource Links:Wiki
(( The history on this page is largely for the anime version, which is what I'll be using. The major difference between the anime continuity and manga/Dark Side of Dimensions continuity is that in the anime, the Kaibas witnessed Atem passing on to the afterlife. In the manga, they arrived too late, and Kaiba missing his chance to say goodbye/settle the score is what fuels his desperate reality-breaking. He's had more closure than his manga counterpart, so post-series he's not so unhinged.))
Personality: In picturing what this character is like, consider these facts: Seto Kaiba is 17 years old, the CEO of the biggest gaming technology company in his country, and the number 2 ranked player of said country's most popular spectator sport. The basic assumptions a person is likely to make about his personality knowing only those facts would be largely correct: he's incredibly driven and competitive, has an ego the size of the sun, and he'd be that guy on Survivor who yells 'I'm not here to make friends!' at every contestant who even looks at him funny. But there's a little more to him than that, and he'll have to adjust for his huge change in circumstances.
First, his general demeanor and goals: Kaiba is a skilled strategist, and incredibly persistent in proving that he's the best. Losing his first duel against Yugi Mutou sent him into a revenge-fueled obsession with the guy, determined to rematch him until he could reclaim his title. Kaiba never gives up no matter how many times he loses against Yugi, throwing all his intense passion into every rematch.
You'd think Kaiba hated his opponent, and he sometimes claims he does. But behind the tangle of insults in their duels, there's an underlying layer of respect. Yugi is the one person who's ever given Kaiba an incredible (and mostly fair) fight, and Kaiba says repeatedly that he feels most alive during a thrilling match. Kaiba believes wholeheartedly in his superior ability, yet anyone who can challenge him is worthy of grudging respect.
In his journey as a new trainer, the first impression other travelers are likely to get of Kaiba is that he's resistant to the concept of altruism and overtures of friendship. After a lifetime of being betrayed by nearly every adult in his life, the 'trust no one and show no weakness' teachings of his toxic adoptive father, and the social isolation that came with having to raise his brother alone, he struggles to relate to most people. When he's pitted against his canon's optimistic friendship-powered protagonists, he often derides them for clinging to each other for support, claiming these attachments are weaknesses. He's so thoroughly indoctrinated in the belief that life is all about survival of the fittest that acts of kindness confuse him.
There is one glaring exception to his 'no kindness' rule: his younger brother Mokuba, who he swore to protect when their parents died. Mokuba's spot in Seto's heart is regularly exploited by the greater villains of the story: Mokuba is kidnapped, mind-controlled, and turned against him. In all these instances, Seto sets all other concerns aside. His brother's safety means everything, even if it means he has to forfeit a duel or work with Yugi's Friendship Brigade to save him. His softer treatment of Mokuba also extends to other children. Despite the hardening of his heart, he hung onto his childhood dream of building a fantasy theme park that orphaned kids could freely enjoy, and he made it a reality.
One important aspect of Kaiba's arrogance is that in canon, he has the wealth and power to back up his words. He's the richest person in the country, able to fling his wealth around to remove almost any obstacle, and holes up in his high tower because that wealth makes him and his brother targets. Coming to this world with nothing will be an entirely different experience.
Once he's at the bottom of the social hierarchy instead of the top, Kaiba will have a rude awakening. He's so conditioned to believe that weaker people will always be exploited by stronger people that he'll be fearful and defensive, and if that doesn't get him far enough, he can dig deep for that pragmatism and adjust. He didn't achieve all his business deals by being ruthless, there's some negotiation skill in there somewhere. He'll get as far as he can on his own, but if he resorts to asking for help...well, he'll be mentally drawing up a list of IOUs.
To sum it up, Kaiba can be a difficult person to be around. He's highly competitive (and will throw himself headfirst into the gym challenge), his ego's so powerful that he believes he can accomplish anything, and he's resistant to making friends. But he's just level-headed enough to be willing to work with others for a common good and recognize when he needs to mitigate a disadvantage. He might survive the road after all!

Goldenrod City is many things: the location of a notoriously tough Gym, a shopping mecca, home of a baseball team...and apparently the place where Kaiba won't be catching a break today. Maybe he shouldn't have tried to take that side street shortcut, but time was money---
He's just been ambushed by an overzealous Rocket in the alley and barely escaped with his team intact, and he'll be needing those Pokémon Center services now. He yanks hard on the door and rushes his team to the waiting nurse with a quick plea for help, and as he sinks onto a chair in the waiting room...he presses his forehead into his palm, biting back a growl.
What gave the Rockets the right to be such corrupt cowards? Half the Trainers on the roads are young kids---sure, they had to be tough to make it this far unsupervised, but they'd trained their teams for too long just to lose them to some sniveling loser who couldn't be bothered catching and training Pokémon for themselves.
Just because they had all that power, it gave them the right to steal and cheat their way to the top....?
Kaiba shifts in his chair, and the Duel Monsters deck in his pocket starts to slip out. He reaches out to catch it, and the first card that slides across his fingers is his beloved Blue Eyes White Dragon.
He feels a brief twinge of cognitive dissonance. Hadn't he cheated, stolen, and thrown his wealth around to obtain the three dragon cards? Granted, he'd been through a magical coma and forcibly had his 'evil' shattered since then, but he's been where the Rockets are. And now that he's sleeping in the dirt every night and struggling to make it to the next town, a life of stolen luxury is tempting.
But then he spots another panicked kid running through the door of the PokéCenter, and he knows. No, he's not about that life. He'll get to the top the honest way or not at all.
"Mr. Kaiba, your Pokémon are ready," a nurse's assistant finally calls. His head shoots up and he hurries over to check on them--all well, as always. With a thankful nod, he reattaches the PokéBalls to his belt and slips out into the night---but he'll be staying close to the well-lit main streets this time.

Character Name: Yuri Leclerc Series: Fire Emblem 3 Houses Timeline: Azure Moon: During the assault on Fort Merceus. Canon Resource Links:Here!
Personality:
Guarded -"I only play my hand when it's a secured victory. That's why I'm here."
Yuri is an extremely skilled tactician and is always a few steps ahead of his opponents, or he tries to be. To him everything is like a game of chess and because of this he doesn't give much of his own feelings away and hides some of his darker thoughts. Because of his slightly ruthless behavior he will betray allies temporarily or execute a plan alone if it means keeping those he cares about safe. It's easier for him to do this by putting a front up and not letting many get close. He has many secrets as well such as his true name which he hasn't told anyone yet.
Cheeky/Flirtatious -"Charming, aren't I? I'm certainly not above using that charm to get what I want." Yuri is very flirty and sly. He isn't opposed to using his looks to manipulate others into giving him something he wants or needs especially if it will help him protect people he cares about. While he will flirt with most anyone it's hard to tell if he's being honest in his desires.
Deeply Caring -"If you ever need someone to help you out, I’m your guy. I’ll make your problems vanish into thin air." He obviously has very firm beliefs and wants to do well by people he deems important. Abyss is the first place he's ever truly cared for and will do anything for it's protection. He will side with anyone who can help him protect his people and those he cares about and will not think twice about deserting if it puts his loved ones in harms way. His caring attitude stems from when he was younger and was saved from a life threatening plague by a kind old man. It was from that moment that Yuri decided he would make it his life mission to anyone he could. One of his prized possessions is a notebook in which is listed every name of someone he couldn't save as a way to have their memory live on.
Do Whatever It Takes -"Don't sit back and do nothing. You'll just end up dying needlessly. That's how it goes in my world, anyway." Yuri isn't afraid to get his hands dirty to attain his goals. he can be quite frightening when he wants to be, as his reputation as the Savage Mockingbird was established from swindling, participating in illicit markets and manipulating others for a living in order to help the less fortunate by putting on a charming nature in order to manipulate the more privileged into giving him what he wants, with few daring to cross him.

Character Name: Harry James Potter Series: Harry Potter Timeline: After repairing his old wand at the end of Deathly Hallows Canon Resource Links:HP Wiki Entry, HP on Wikipedia, Harry on Wikipedia
Personality: Harry’s quite complicated to pinpoint into one thing: in fact, he has so many layers to look into. For one, his strongest aspect is being able to love, it is this very thing that is pivotal to beat Voldemort in his ‘take over the Wizarding World’ plan, for the latter never knew what love really is. It doesn’t even help that he wasn’t given any loving care from his aunt and uncle in his childhood though, but whenever he bonds with someone, he’ll take his relations with that person seriously, whether with friends or family. He’ll risk his own life just to make sure that the people he love stay safe, however the whole ‘people saving’ thing, as Hermione called it, often confuses him in whether if someone is in danger or not. Lily’s kindness has been passed down onto him, he’s more than kind enough to help those who need help. He seriously values friendship and family more than anything as he does come from a really rocky childhood among abusive relatives: Being the ‘Boy Who Lived’ has taken a toll on his life, and he sometimes feels super lonely, due to the childhood misery he got early on. He does like being around people, but he’s more of a close-ties person rather a full-on extrovert most Gryffindors are most likely to be. He’s really a nice friendly guy, unless you push him too far, then he’ll be cranky and snarky as hell. He can be quite arrogant, stubborn, and act like a jerk at times without noticing it, which is a trait passed on from his dad James, which almost broke his friendship with Ron during the Horcrux Hunt.
In a glance, he seems to be your average Gryffindor: brave, loyal, courageous, jumps into fights even if he doesn’t know how they’ll end but he has to do something! Also worth noting in his Gryffindor stats, he can be reckless at times (such as snooping on Draco Malfoy in his Sixth Year), yet he’s willing to reason out usually depending on who he’s talking to (mostly *cough, cough*Hermione*cough, cough*). He can make friends easily, as he was able to make close ties with Ron at the Hogwarts Express in their First Year and with Hermione after he and Ron saved her from being attacked by a troll. He’s fiercely protective and loyal of his friends, to make the story short. This fellow also has a clear sense of right and wrong whenever he comes across bad people or events, trying to understand the situation. He can stand up for himself, and whatever he knows is right, even people of high authority aren’t immune to his wrath, it could rub off on people in the wrong way if he isn’t being careful with what he says. He was able to shrug off being possessed by Voldemort and the Imperious Curse as a teen, and can hold his ground even at the face of ruthless school adversary, such as with the rumors of him being Slytherin's Heir in Second Year, he managed to confront the people spewing them, in spite of the trouble these gave him.
Yet, there’s more to him to being a just regular ole’ Gryffindor. He was this close to be sent to Slytherin in his first year for various reasons: first off, he can be sneaky and clever as he can be if he wants to be. He can handle puzzles pretty decently, although he’s not as scary-smart as Hermione or has the same Wizard Chess skills as with Ron. Harry’s also pretty determined in achieving his goals (short-term and long-term alike), which is another trait associated with the Slytherin house. If he has something certain on his mind, he’ll go straight for it, no stops on end! Not to mention being so stubborn and focused on the goal. He doesn’t even mind breaking some rules to just to get the job done, which happens to him a LOT, although he does certainly knows when to back out which is, again, another Slytherin thing.
Harry has also shown resourcefulness, thinks on his feet, and makes use of the items & environment around him to get to his goals, which is also another Slytherin trademark. While he doesn’t admit it publicly, he’s quite an ambitious guy, with the main one being stopping Voldemort from screwing up the Wizarding World until he’s dead. This is also highlighted with the fact that he tends to make himself so unassuming that he never brags so much on his abilities publicly. And oh, they said Slytherins make good leaders, right? Oh, that screams Harry too, even though he wasn’t planning on being one anyway, he does a surprisingly good job at it, as he led Dumbledore’s Army in his Fifth Year and the Gryffindor Quidditch Team in his Sixth Year.
He doesn’t take keeping secrets to remain secrets too well, essentially acting as an information sponge that everyone has to spill the beans to, although he has to learn that not every secret should be spilled out and that truth may not be open to everyone. However, him withholding secrets from others doesn’t mean he hates or doesn’t trust someone, he only does it because he thinks that this is the only way to keep them safe from harm. He can be reckless in action and thought, is stubborn as a mule, and a hot-headed & moody creature. After all, teenagers are moody creatures, although he has other problems no other teen should go through, such as people trying to kill him, so you can’t hardly blame him for acting strangely whenever something bad happens. He has suffered depression and PTSD due to the scary combination of a terrible childhood spent with the Dursleys and having to deal with the complications that come with being the ‘Chosen One’, the madness that is the Second Wizarding War, losing many friends & allies over the years, and the heavy weight of the fame he had got from surviving the Killing Curse through his mom’s sacrifice as a baby. Because of all of this, he has fend for himself most of the time or he’ll get crushed literally and figuratively.
The poor guy also has a tendency to being in the dumps and carrying the guilt that he shouldn’t be bothered with, especially when he felt responsible for Sirius’ death during his Fifth Year that he wasn’t quite sure if he had done something different to prevent it from happening. He can be very quiet and reserved, especially when he gets really moody or goes off moping, and if something bad happens or gets him off-guard or confused, he gets really more emo and brooding than, let’s say, Malfoy. And yes, he can get very judgmental at times, most especially with the Syltherin House in his early Hogwarts years and even sometimes looking down on his good friend Neville at times (again this comes with the tendency of his to act unconsciously like an arrogant jerk at times), although over time with the House bias, he did open up his eyes to see more bad eggs in the other houses (including his own house) and some good Slytherins such as the case of Horace Slughorn and, yes, even Snape too. Nevertheless, he’s still a kind friendly guy who’ll be loyal to you & fight for you until the very end.
Pokémon Information Affiliation: Trainer Starter: Rowlet Password: Atomic Fireball
Victory Road Sample: This day has gotten very strange for Harry: some time ago, he has managed to fix his wand at the Headmaster’s Office after the Battle and holding it with pride, then he blacks out suddenly, and the next thing he knows, he soon wakes up to see a ceiling in a room he has never seen before. He blinks in confusion of what just happened when a woman comes in to say to him that he’s going on an adventure that he needs to get up now. Has he gone mental now? There are so many questions he wants to ask her at a moment’s notice: Where is he right now? What about Ron and Hermione? Will they be okay with him missing? How can he get back home quickly?
Before he could say a word though, the cheerful woman gives him a backpack and escorts him out the door, saying her goodbye to him before shutting the door on him. Music begins to hit his ears hard while he looks around the town he is now stuck in with blank confusion. Harry is pretty certain that he didn’t accidentally touch a stray Time Turner on the office desk. Sighing in dismay, the young man begins to rummage through his backpack to find a red and white ball inside; he brings it close to his face to get a closer look.
Without knowing any better, he accidentally presses the center button and a flash of energy flies out from the ball and onto the ground, forming a small round owl with leaves for a bow tie and a tail and underneath his wings who is now staring at him. This creature has a keen interest in him early on and Harry kneels down to get a closer look and say hi to him.
“Oh, hi there,” he greets him in a polite manner, “It look like we’ll be going on on this journey together, right?”
The little owl happily hoots as a way to say ‘Yes and I want to be friends with you’. Harry doesn’t admit it too soon but he’s starting to warm up to the little owl thing: he reminds him a lot of Hedwig, which is making him feeling nostalgic, homesick and sad over her demise back home at the same time. Nevertheless, he decides to talk with him so they can get to know each other more.
“Okay then, I suppose that I should introduce myself to you: my name is Harry Potter, but just call me Harry,” he introduces himself to the owl, “Can I know what your name is?”
The owl just said the same thing again. Harry is staring to realize that the owl is trying to say his species’ name, a Rowlet. Okay, he gets the name of his species, but he needs to give this owl name of his own soon, so he thinks long and hard for a name for minutes, then he soon gets an idea from the trees in front of him.
“Hey, I think I might have a name for you,” he tells the owl, “What do you think about Rowan, it’s a tree with feather-shaped leaves. Will you want to be called Rowan?”
The Rowlet did think this over for a while as he waits anxiously before he hoots out happily that he likes the name a lot and it warms Harry’s heart a lot, knowing that he is happy with the it. Rowan then flies towards on his right shoulder and begins to snuggle up on his right cheek, and he is bursting into joyous tears. Sure, he may be stuck in a world so different from his world, but Rowan is beginning to become the friend he never thought he would need to start this new chapter of his life. He is now free to carve a new path away from what he has been through back home and Rowan is the key to it.

Character Name: Zack Fair Series: Final Fantasy 7 Compilation Timeline: End of Crisis Core Canon Resource Links:Here!
Physical Attributes: Zack is tall standing at 6’3 with a muscular build, blue mako infused eyes that seem to glow in the right setting and tanned skin. He has two scar marks on his face that form an x, he got this from fighting the combined Angeal copy monster Angeal Penance of his former mentor and friend. His hair was long and went down his middle back but was recently chopped short after a Genesis clone ate some of it leave it to just past his shoulders instead. (who eats hair???)
Personality:
Positive Attitude/ Energetic/Loyal - “So I can cut loose, right?” Zack’s known by many (thanks to Angeal) as a puppy. He has big golden retriever boy energy and it’s infectious. Zack has almost unlimitless energy which is evident when instead of being idle he will do squats to distract himself, he also has a short attention span. While a lot of very upsetting things happen in his story he still is able to put a smile on his face and keep moving forward. That isn’t to say he doesn’t get upset but he doesn’t let it control him either, usually. Despite his usually happy go luck personality he does often pout a lot and is very skilled in the ‘pouty puppy dog eyes’ look. His friends and allies are incredibly important to him and even when some of them desert him he still doesn’t want to fight them until he is left with no choice.
Warrior/Hero - ““I’m with SOLDIER, so… fighting is all I do. Sorting things out is someone else’s job. What’s going on? Who is the enemy? It makes no difference to me! “
Zack constantly shows how often he is willing to put himself on the line for others. He takes being a SOLDIER and a hero to heart and will always try to accomplish his dreams of that. We see his Warrior side come out multiple times in the game especially with the ending where he fights countless enemies on his own to protect his friend. His major dream and driving force is to become a Hero, someone people can look up to and also turn to in times of need. He took Angeal’s mentorship to heart and follows his code of Honor. Zack is an exceptional combatant, accomplished in both swordsmanship and hand-to-hand combat. When he does use his sword he uses the blunt end. While not a fighting genius, he was more skilled than any his age as he was younger than most when promoted to first, his ability to copy moves after seeing them once is also very handy. This ability makes him easy to pick up all kinds of new skills very easily.
Flirt/Playful/Friendly “Hey, how about one date?”
Zack is a flirt. He often can be seen flirting with females across the different games he’s appeared in with his most notable being with Aerith. He means well with his flirting and doesn’t actually want to date everyone he sees, it’s just part of his outgoing and friendly nature. He’s a very friendly guy who is hard not to like and makes friends with almost everyone he meets. With how outgoing he is, Zack also doesn’t really understand the concept of personal space and often will hug or get very close to others to the point where it can get a bit uncomfortable.

Character Name: Draco Malfoy Series: Harry Potter books not the films. Timeline: After Draco joins the Death Eaters but before he tries to kill Professor Dumbledore. Canon Resource Links:Canon Link
Original Character Background:N/A
Personality: At first Draco came off as a spoiled brat who loved to flaunt his status as a Pure Blood and his father's high status. When Harry denied his invitiation to be his friend and his help, they automatically became enemies. Draco was constantly challenging Harry and his friends and was rarely alone from his squad of Slytherines.
He hated not having the attention on him and would do through various means to redirect the attention to him, especially if it was always focused on Harry and his group. Often his attempts to gain attention were negative ways, like name calling, picking on an animal to agitate it, pretending to be heavily injured...the list goes on.
While he was younger, Draco had relied heavily on his Pure Blood status and the influence of his father. He also desperately sought approval from him and tried hard to gain it in what ever way possible. This also forced him to be combative with Harry's popularity and Hermoine's grades.
As he got older he began to realize that the old ways and being a Pure Blood was a thing in the past. They had to change in order to survive. At the same time, he didn't want to lose his family's love and respect. He would have been quickly disowned. He also already had an image that he couldn't just change. Most of the time when he was bullying or using slurs it was always in front of his crowd and at a moment when he knew nothing could be done.
Draco also began to realize that he didn't want to be like his father. He didn't want to follow his footseps as he quickly saw how his father began to loose the power and influece he once had. He also saw how Lord Voldermort treated his followers.
He only kept the image knowing it was expected of him. As things got worse for his family, Draco became more sullen and withdrawn. He couldn't share what was going on with his family and couldn't trust anyone with what he had to do as well. He joined the Death Eaters out of a necessasity. He would have lost his family and he believed it to be his last chance to prove himself to his father.
He was intelligent enough to be able to fix the broken Vanishing Cabinet, but when it came to killing Professor Dumbledore himself...he couldn't do it. It almost looked as if he would have taken Professor Dumbledore's help if Professor Snape hadn't stepped in to finish the job for him as planned.
Draco also showed how uncomfortable he was sitting at the table with the Death Eaters and Lord Voldermort. They had one of their professors who taught Muggle Studies and she called out to him trying to plead for him. He was forced to watch her death and seeing the snake eat her.
When Harry was captured by the Snatchers and brouoght to the Malfoy mannor, Bellatrix brought Draco out to see if it was really Harry Potter. Before they had been captures Hermoine had cursed him to make him unrecognizeable for a brief time. Draco recognized him, but lied to his aunt. It was clear he uncomfortable giving her this information understnading what she would have done if he told the truth. He lied trying to give Harry and his group some time.
During the war, Draco reluctantly joined Lord Voldermort and his group only due to his parents' beckoning. It was clear he wasn't happy with the choice. Yet, he made up for his actions later by tossing Harry his own wand to be able to fight back against Lord Voldermort.
Draco will have a hard time adapting to the new world that is Pokemon where his Magic and status won't mean nothing. And the only one to know him was Hermoine Granger, one he often picked on the most. This will force him to try and befriend people if he wanted to survive.

Character Name: Tobio Kageyama Series: Haikyuu!! Timeline: After winning against Nekoma at Nationals Canon Resource Links:Here
Personality: Kageyama bears the nickname "King of the Court", something that both pains him but can be seen as a good thing as well.
At first glance, Kageyama gives off a sullen air that is tinged with quite a bit of arrogance. His default expression doesn't make him easy to approach since he rarely smiles or shows much of anything other than a blank or frowning face. Even Hinata at the beginning of the series is at first intimidated by his future teammates expression, arrogance in full display when Kageyama asks the other young man what he had been doing for three years after handing a devastating loss to the other.
A bad and quick temper is another very noticeable trait of his. With his perfectionist streak, if anyone messes up, especially Hinata, Kageyama is quick to snap and demand they do better. Though later in the series it is not as super explosive, it still pops up at times since he doesn't have the best track record of properly expressing his emotions.
Which leads into his actually being rather sensitive to what others think of him. Since his rejection by his middle school team for being too egocentric, Kageyama is afraid of it happening again, though he doesn't talk about it till Tsukishima calls him out on it. Still, he can seem more like a kid with his outbursts than the teenager in high school he is supposed to be.
Kageyama does have some positive sides to him. He is extremally passionate about volleyball, and is outwardly rather excited when they make good plays. The most excitement is displayed when Hinata and him make a really good play, and some of the few times these two really get along before potential bickering starts again. He always wants to do his best, and is very much an asset to his team with his skills as a Setter.
Overall, joining Karasuno has done him some good. Kageyama has learned that teamwork is about trusting your team, and working with them to make sure that all of his sets work with whoever he is setting to, not just Hinata. Despite hating the nickname of "King of the Court", with how much growth he's done since joining Karasuno and being around people who will not let him call all the shots, he's become a different King among crows.
Pokémon Information Affiliation: Trainer Starter: Murkrow Password: Atomic Fireball
Victory Road Sample: [After the mess that was "mother" and that strange professor, Kageyama was actually glad to be out on the road towards a new town. Sure, it meant this weird bird that refused to stay in a ball was following him like a feathery stalker, but it meant finding something familiar.
Kageyama was far from the most technology literate and at first struggles with the device handed to him that supposedly had a map in it. Though what he sees doesn't look anything like the Japan he was once in. Maybe a region of it?
Irritation makes him turn it off and shove the Pokedex into his pocket. If this was a dream, it was the most annoying dream in the world. There was nothing about volleyball here, just these Pokemon things.]
How the hell do people wake up from dreams again?
[That makes him pinch his cheeks painfully without the wanted results. The angry walk slows down to an eventual stop as he thinks of what to do next. He looks around till he finds the Pokemon that's supposed to be his. There's a slight grin that pulls at his lips when the creature called Murkrow caws at him curiously.]
Whatever this is, at least it's not letting me forget I'm a crow.

Character Name: Boober Fraggle Series: Fraggle Rock: Back to the Rock Timeline: Post-Season 1, Episode 13: "All of Us" Canon Resource Links:Muppet Wiki page for Back to the Rock
Personality: Boober is a Fraggle, and with that comes a love of a music and a playful nature... But Boober embodies these inherently Fraggle-ish traits differently than others. His playfulness comes mostly comes forth in sassy body language and snarky little remarks, and while he does enjoy music, he'd much prefer a sad and soulful ballad than an upbeat chorus. He's unique among his friends, and he's very aware of this fact. It's a sore spot, and he feels uncomfortable in what he sees as his weirdness, especially early on: This is most clearly shown through his glow. The fuzzy end of Boober's tail, called his baloobious, glows with light whenever he's being his truest self. He's not the only Fraggle to have this trait, but it is uncommon-- And for most of his life, Boober thought it was just he who glowed. Meeting a more traveled and learned Fraggle known as the Archivist taught Boober that he was not alone, and that his glow was not weird but instead special.
Boober likes to try foreseeing every possible negative outcome to give himself a sense of security. This means he's quite the worrywart, especially since he doesn't usually entertain the idea that something good can happen. His fear can overwhelm him, but he's slowly learning that just because its present, doesn't mean he has to let it rule him. Still, this is another way he's different, and it's harder to put a positive spin on that for the little guy. In fact, feeling like he doesn't stack up to other Fraggles, in terms of happiness or helpfulness. is a reoccurring theme with Boober, and the reason his insecurities persist.
Though Boober is generally quiet and more introverted, he's a loyal friend who wants to be of value and use to others. He loves being able to provide for others with food and general hospitality, although this can cross the line into inconvenience for the somewhat grumpy Fraggle. But he does pride himself on his skills with cooking and laundry, and because of these two passions he places high importance on neatness, organization, and cleanliness.

Victory Road Sample: Boober sighed as he rubbed his shins, then glanced down at the sleeping Volbeat next to him... If he was aching after their training, Archie should be much worse off, and yet he was peacefully snoozing away. Pokemon really were pretty amazing. Still, even having realized that-- Well, he didn't think he was ready for Archie to fight other Pokemon unless absolutely necessary. And so, their current training regimen. It was really just Archie tackling and diving at Boober while Boober tried to evade. His partner was probably having to hold back, which wasn't very productive. But Archie, for all his fighting spirit, was still a bug, right? It just seemed foolish to send him out against other, more formidable Pokemon. Especially the bird-like ones, and there were so many of those!
But as he sat by the fire that night, Boober couldn't help wondering if he was being overly-cautious. He did do that, after all! Maybe he was even projecting a little...? Or a lot. He was so scared being here, in a foreign place with a foreign form for his body. Archie had always been in this world, though. and he wanted to fight. He believed in himself! Maybe Boober should do the same, and put his fear on the back burner. But that was easier said than done.
Archie looked so peaceful sleeping right now. It was hard to imagine him as the tough, powerful creature he clearly saw himself as... But wouldn't he know? Boober leaned over to pat the Volbeat on the head, and when he stirred and opened one eye, Boober found himself smiling.
"Sorry, bud, I didn't mean to wake you up. But... Um, maybe you'll be glad I did. I've been thinking, and... Well, tomorrow we'll buy some potions and other medicine, and then you can do some training. Real training, okay?"
Archie beamed, tail aglow, and let out a cry of delight. And really... Seeing that was worth feeling the fear.

Character Name: Rock Howard Series: The King of Fighters Timeline: Post KOF XV Canon Resource Links:SNK wiki
Personality:
At first glance, Rock Howard looks like a boisterous man who seeks any kind of thrill, but he is anything but. He’s a shy, modest man who tries not to bring attention to himself, nor is he the kind to seek out any sort of trouble. He tries to live an honest life, working any odd jobs he can get to take care of the man who adopted him, Terry, and himself. Despite that, he knows how to handle himself in a fight, especially in a town like South Town, where street fighting was the norm. If push came to shove, Rock is the type to end things as quickly as they started, all to avoid drawing a crowd-- and to hide the energy-based powers he inherited from his father, Geese.
Having grown up in a modest apartment with his mother, Rock’s childhood was relatively normal-- as normal as one can get when red eyes scare most away. His mother Marie taught him how to be kind and compassionate, two virtues he holds close to his heart due to the short amount of time he had with her. He does his best to show kindness wherever possible, despite having difficulty in social situations, especially with women. Having grown up with very few people in his life (mainly men) didn’t help his social abilities, which makes him unable to continue most conversations filled with small talk. The kindness he holds was only reinforced by his childhood friend Hotaru Futaba, a girl who lost her entire family to revenge. In a show of compassion, he offered Hotaru his assistance in finding her older brother, who disappeared in a quest for revenge. Rock saw what negative emotions does to a family through her, and couldn’t bear to think of what would happen if he were to be consumed by them, and only hoped for a peaceful life. Life dealt him a different hand, despite that wish.
While Rock’s relationship with his mother was strong, his relationship with his father Geese was not. Understandably so, as Geese Howard is the most notorious crime lord in South Town. Upon their first meeting, Geese pushed Rock away the moment he met him, claiming he has no time nor patience for Rock, and even denied helping his ailing mother. This was the catalyst that sparked Rock’s own rage-- he despised Geese for denying to help his mother and for neglecting him. It was so powerful that he feared that he would commit the worst, and ran. He ran to his mother, who unfortunately passed that very same night. Grief and rage fueled the release of his inherited power from his father, and he feared it. It was a power that he didn’t ask for, nor did he know where to begin to be able to calm it. It was this fear, and the knowledge that negative emotions made his powers go stronger that made Rock swear to himself that he would never hurt anyone with it. However, he had no home and a short time, became a wandering orphan as he tried to find methods to control and even find answers as to why he had the abilities in the first place. Despite that resolve, it would become a lifelong struggle to control that power due to it’s overwhelming strength, and any expenditure only weakens Rock’s natural barriers.
His meeting with Terry Bogard changed his life’s course, however. It was a chance meeting, but Rock understood that Terry had settled his grudge with Geese, and wanted to understand how, and why. Despite Terry shooing him away during all his street fights, Rock stayed by his side. He wanted to understand just how and why a man who settled a grudge-- the very same grudge that he holds-- was so carefree afterwards. Rock’s curiosity (in both street fighting and in Terry in general) showed in his eyes so much that once Terry learned of Rock’s orphan status, he took him under his wing. It was through living with Terry that Rock learned the importance of balance, even if Terry himself is a complete party-head. It was Terry who taught him most of what he knows of fighting, and it was through that training that his control over his inherited power has gotten better. Rock even found comfort as he found others who struggle to handle strange powers, as shown in his brief meeting with Shun’ei and Isla during the 15th King of Fighters tournament. Overall, Rock is a sweet boy who tries to limit both conversation in order to avoid fights and to avoid talking to people in general, but genuinely wants the best for those he does consider close.

Character Name: Gabi Braun Series: Attack on Titan Timeline: Post series, but before the finale timeskip Canon Resource Links:Link
Personality:
CW: Child soldiers, racism... racism needs a second warning, it a lot.
Right off the bat, Gabi is a cheerful and energetic girl. She's confident and bold, if she thinks something, she's not afraid to yell about it. Very loudly. She'll even put her hands in front of her mouth to make sure her voice carries.
It's not really a good thing though...
Because for the first half of the series Gabi is brainwashed. She's an Eldian, born in Marley, all her life she's been told that Eldian's are monsters and that mainland-born Eldian's are the only ones with the potential to be good... By proving themselves by killing the Paradis 'Island Devils'. Gabi has been raised constantly seeing how badly Eldians are treated, her head being filled with all this propaganda. She's told that the mainland Eldians can escape all the racial abuse they suffer, but only if the 'bad' Eldians disappear.
Not helping matters is that Gabi idolizes her elder cousin Reiner. To her, he's a hero whose suffered through hell to make everyones' lives better. She wants to keep his memory alive by inheriting his armoured titan. That this involves her eating him alive isn't horrifying to her, because she's been told so much that she sees it as an honor.
Gabi is willing to do anything to prove that she's the best person for this. By killing as many of Marley's enemies as possible. She's perfectly fine using the fact that she's a cute little girl to lull enemy soldiers into a false sense of security. War crimes are fine... if no one lives to say anything. She doesn't take her fellow child soldier Falco's concerns and comments on this well. Thinking he's trying to point out her flaws so she looks bad to higher-ups. His checking if she's alright or injured? She interprets that as him looking down on her skills.
He actually has a crush on her. Everyone knows except her, even when it's pointed out to her face. Her focus on being the best soldier is too strong.
Gabi's extremism is later made worse when a group of those 'Island Devils' she's been raised to hate attacks her hometown. Killing two of her close friends, killing the few Marleyans who were kind to her and seeing the buildings crushed. She ignores orders to retreat and follows them as they leave, telling Falco to let her parents know that...she killed as many enemies as she could before they killed her. She then proceeds to shoot Sasha and is promptly captured. She's unrepentant, still yelling propaganda even as Sasha's friends are crying and trying to save her. Gabi doesn't give up though. Once she and Falco are locked in a jail cell, she fakes a seizure and smashes the guard who comes to check on her with a brick.
Her little reign of terror continues after she and Falco escape. With her refusing to remove her armband marking her as a Marleyan Eldian, because she doesn't want to blend in with the locals. She'd rather be caught and die than that. While she and Falco are arguing, they're found by a girl who... Gabi gets ready to brain with a rock until Falco stops her. Unknowingly to anyone, this girl is Kaya, Sasha's adoptive younger sister. Who takes Gabi and Falco to Sasha's parents to be looked after. Falco is able to play along, Gabi is sulky the whole time, fully expecting it to be a trap and for them to be killed. Even when all these people do is show her kindness, she can't trust them because she's been raised to believe them to be monsters.
Then the journey begins.
Because Gabi is now being exposed to so much kindness from people who she's been told can't be kind. At this point it doesn't have much of an effect, she's still ready to murder Kaya with a pitchfork when the other girl mentions that she knows they're from Marley. Falco manages to talk her down and the three start to talk with Kaya asking why her mother was killed. Gabi gives the Marleyan Eldian stock answer of 'She died because passed sins', to which Kaya is confused and Gabi has a rant about how not knowing ones sins is a sin and how Kaya must repent for existing. Considering the topic is her mother being eaten alive very slowly, Kaya takes it pretty well. Only asking the pair to follow her and taking them to the room where it happened and asking why again.
Gabi remains a shitlord at this point. Then Sasha's family go to a restaurant where a Marleyan POW and Gabi is so happy that they've found an ally. Her and Falco promptly run off to go see the man. Where Gabi brags about killing Sasha, completely oblivious to the man's growing horror. She's just there spouting this horrible stuff, wholly proud of herself. Luckily Falco notices and shoves her out the way as the man smashes tries to hit her with a bottle. Unfortunately, he hits Falco instead. The man then takes the two kids to Sasha's parents, because Sasha's father 'deserves' the honor of killing his daughter's murderer.
At this point, Gabi thinks she's screwed, she's going to die because the man takes the knife. But he puts down, saying that more death won't achieve anything and that if anyone is to blame it's him for encouraging Sasha. Sasha's squadmates have arrived and are asking if she's alright, one gently crouching down and asking about her injuries. Kaya however, isn't taking it as well. Because she attempts to sneak up on Gabi and stab her only to be stopped by the same woman who was checking Gabi's wounds.
Seeing a Marleyan man in love with an Eldian, a father forgiving her for killing his daughter, what had been enemy soldiers defending her and Kaya's anger and tears at her. Gabi's mind is blown.
It gets blown even more when she thinks she's being saved by a senior. Only for the senior to seemingly betray Marley, the whole thing is a trick. But the woman's words make Gabi think, because her reason for betrayal is not trusting Marley, that Marley's promises of treating Eldians better is all lies, that soon Eldians will have outlived their usefulness.
Then all hell breaks loose. People are fighting and for a moment Gabi is in the thick of it, fortunately the woman takes her to a relatively safe spot where she's reunited with Falco's brother. They then search for Falco himself, they soon find him. And Gabi shows the first sign of her development because instead of letting Falco's brother attack the man with Falco, she tells him to wait. They're reunited without incident... Except for the fact that the bottle Falco was hit with had serum that turns people into titans in. Meaning that Falco could be changed at any time.
They hide for a moment. While in hiding they overhear Sasha's parents and Kaya wandering by, the adults wondering if they're all right. Kaya saying she hopes Gabi is dead. This is when everything truly starts to sink in for Gabi. That to these people, she's the monster who killed their loved ones. She apologizes to Falco for dragging him along with her because he'd always known this. She's almost ready to give up, curling in on herself.
Then Falco confesses his love for her. And that the reason he's been trying to protect her so that she could live a long life. This gives her a kick up the butt. Falco is still at risk of being turned into a titan and Gabi's going to stop that. She's not going to let him die because he followed her.
... They fail though and Falco and all the others infected are changed into titans. In the midst of all she comes across Kaya again and saves her from being eaten by one of the titans. Kaya is confused because 1.) She tried to kill Gabi earlier that day 2.) Gabi as been calling her a devil since they met. Gabi can't explain why, not at first. Then she contemplates that she's the real devil, that she's killed so many people just for praise. Only to be refuted and told that everyone is the devil and that's why the world is a mess.
Gabi keeps moving until they're found by the soldiers who'd been nice earlier. After talking with them she learns one has taken Falco away and she pleads and begs them to help save him. They're convinced (mostly because Gabi being able to put in a good word with her seniors might save them but shh), and go off the save the boy. Eventually teaming up with the soldiers and forces from Marley who are also in danger.
During camp, the adults take potshots at each other. Each bringing up past actions to justify why they're enemies. It culminates in Reiner confessing to be behind the death of one of the man's best friend, ending him being beaten up. If it wasn't for his healing powers, Reiner would have been beaten to death. Gabi interrupts, getting kicked in the process, apologizing again and asking for help saving the world.
...Honestly, that's it for Gabi's development. For the rest of the series she's just kinda there, helping out with the whole saving the world. Returning to her cheerful self once it's resolved, only minus the murder.

Character Name: Rapunzel Series: Tangled Timeline: The morning of her birthday, before reaching the kingdom Canon Resource Links: Tangled Wiki pages for Tangled and for Rapunzel
Personality: There is, quite literally, sunlight in Rapunzel, and it shines in every ounce of her being. She approaches new experiences with, yes, trepidation - she's still new to the world beyond her tower, and was always told such a place was dangerous - but also with great enthusiasm. She's genuinely in love with being alive, and isn't afraid to express that. And Rapunzel is very expressive, both in how she acts and in her hobbies: A cornucopia of artistic pursuits that she's generally quite skilled at. After all, she had a lot of time to practice and learn.
Of course, it doesn't hurt that Rapunzel is a smart young woman. She's quick to take in information, but she's not what you'd call wise or savvy. Her sheltered life and how mislead she was about the outside world leaves Rapunzel an interesting mix of overly cautious and very naive... Mostly the latter. She's also just inexperienced and doesn't understand much in the way of social nuance. Her friendliness helps with this, though it only can go so far when she doesn't know what's going on.
Now, while her canon point is early, later canon shows us other aspects of Rapunzel's personality that come out as she gets more comfortable with the world around her. She's playful and can be surprisingly competitive, mainly if she feels she needs to prove herself because she's been underestimated. She is prone to putting others' needs before her own to an unhealthy degree, and relatedly, she can struggle to face her own negative thoughts and feelings. Sometimes it's easier to avoid them.
A big point that later canon, as well as the movie itself, really drives home is that Rapunzel needs freedom. She's spirited and cannot be contained to a simple and boring existence. It just doesn't work; she will inevitably find herself out there again before long, exploring the world.

Character Name: falco grice Series: attack on titan Timeline: end series Canon Resource Links:here Personality: Emotion (in the bleeding heart way) has always been a forte for Falco as one of the most empathetic characters of his series.
He would rather it be him than the person he’s protecting.
And no one can stand to see a boy like Falco injured (most of the time; it hurts your heart).
To top things all off, Falco is immensely polite, especially toward those older than him. It’s always miss, missus, sir, mister, ma’am— can you imagine just how adorable it is?
